I love love love this card and the other sample posted below! They are simple cards and just stunning! You all know I love flowers and pinks and purples!!!! The Lovely Amazing You Stamp Set has THE best greetings ever!!!! This card was super simple to create. I started with a Whisper White card base (4-1/4″ x 11″) and added some Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog (4″ x 5-1/4″). For the greeting, I used the 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch to punch out some Crushed Curry. Then after stamping my greeting from the Lovely Amazing You Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss, I punched it out with my 2″ Circle Punch! I adhered the circle to the scallop and then attached it to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the final touch, I got out my Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers and colored the little circle with my Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities (these are no longer available). You can also color them with a Sharpie Marker!!! Here is another sample!
I added a little Bermuda Bay to this card with my greeting! I love that color so much right now as well! Simple and fabulous cards that you can create in no time at all!!! Which one is your favorite? Leave me a comment below!

Easter is a week and a half away!!!! I love Easter and it is my favorite holiday! I love the bright colors, the Spring weather, the joyfulness and fun of the low-key holiday! Of course, there is also the AMAZING candy at Easter time!!! Since I don’t do a lot of cards for Easter time, I don’t like to spend money on a Easter specific stamp set because I want something more versatile. You want versatile…..Teeny Tiny Wishes is the stamp set for you! I LOVE IT! It has a greeting for everything. That is the greeting I used here with my Modern Label Punch and Word Window Punch. For the flowers, I used the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini Catalog! Love this set! You can see more samples here, here and here! I used Pear Pizzazz for the stems and the flowers are Crushed Curry, Rose Red, and Wisteria Wonder! I rounded the corners of the Whisper White to soften the edges. Want something even more soft? Try the Painted Blooms Cotton Twine! It is soft and easy to tie and not chunky on your card at all!
Let me know what you think of this card? Do you send Easter Cards? This would make a great spring card for any occasion. Also, let me know in the comment below what you favorite Easter candy is!!!!!
I don’t know if I have a true favorite……I love jelly beans, malted eggs, and peeps!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day and Happy Tuesday !!! You know what that means…I have a fabulous technique to share with you! I’m super excited about this one because it includes flowers (Eeee) and PINK (EEeeee)!!!! How amazing is this card????
I love this so much that I almost want to frame it just to look at beautiful pink flowers everyday!!!! Now lets get started on how I created this beautiful masterpiece!!!
My card base in the card above is Melon Mambo (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″) with a piece of Pink Pirouette layered on top (4″ x 5-1/4″). Then my Whisper White cardstock measures 3-3/4″ x 5″. You can always omit the second layer and have your Whisper White measure 4″ x 5-1/4″. Using your Lotus Blossom Stamp Set you will start to stamp your flowers all over (click here to see a how to video). I used Pink Pirouette and Melon Mambo for the sample above and stamped 6 flowers. I guess I totally ignored my “decorating in odd numbers” rule! Opps! 🙂 Once you have all of your flowers stamped, using the #3 flower image, stamp it on a piece of scrap paper and cut out the flower. You will then use this as a mask to cover up that center bottom flower when you are adding your stem. This is so you don’t stamp on top of it and create a mess on top of that flower! It also gives the illusion of a vase of flowers in the front and back. Once you are done stamping your stems it is time to add your vase. Using my Oval Framelits and my Big Shot, I cut out the #4 oval…..fourth from the biggest and fourth from the smallest!!! You will then cut off the top and the bottom of the oval. I started by cutting one end and then placing it on my card to see how much I needed to cut off the other end. It will always vary depending on how low your flowers are on your cardstock! Before adhering the vase to my card, I brushed the edges with my Sponge Dauber (LOVE) to give that darker look and make it seem more rounded and 3D!
For this sample, I used Hello Honey as my card base and Island Indigo as my vase! The flowers were stamped in Island Indigo/Lost Lagoon and Tangelo Twist/Hello Honey! The stems were done in Mossy Meadow! So many color options for your vase and just fabulous looking for any occasion. To see this in action, I created a Video Tutorial for you!!! Be sure to give it a Thumbs Up if you like it!!!!

…Flowers and the Work of Art Stamp Set!!! You can actually add in bright colors to all of that as well!!!! Love love love it!!!!
This card just has so many fabulous parts to it! I started with a card base of Pear Pizzazz. Then I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″ and stamped the zig zag image from the Work of Art Stamp Set on the bottom using my markers to color it in (Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Calypso Coral)! Then for the flowers, I stamped them from the Flower Shop Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink on some scrap Whisper White cardstock and colored them with my Blendabilities. I used the lightest color to come in the entire flower and then took either the Medium or Dark marker to color the lines in the flowers! You can use which ever you prefer based on how dark you want it. I like dark bold colors!!! 🙂 Then I punched the flowers out with the coordinating Pansy Punch! I added some leaves which were punched in Pear Pizzazz with the Bird Builder Punch. The blue flower is flat on the card and the other two are adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals! I finished it off with the greeting stamped from the Work of Art Stamp Set and some pearls on the flowers! I love it because of the amazing colors, springy feel, flowers, pearls and some of my favorite stamp sets!

Simple and Beautiful! Notice I did not say quick…hehe! It could be quick if you are fast at coloring! This card is very simple though as I just took a half sheet of Whisper White cardstock, folded it in half and stamped various flowers from the Blooming with Hope Hostess Stamp Set with my Memento Ink Pad! Then I got started coloring with my Blendabilities! I will say it now….I am NOT an Artist. That was my Grandfather who could paint with any tool and he was amazing!!! This is the latest painting that I have gotten and plan on having it framed! 🙂
I don’t think I have the patience for being an artist like this but I do enjoy stamping and coloring with my Blendabilities. I really love using stamp sets that make shading on the image super easy. Take a look at the flowers in the card above and you will see those extra lines….I use those lines as my guide. I usually color in the flower with the lightest Blendabilities Marker and then go back with either the Medium or Dark Marker and color around the edges and in those extra lines on the image. Works for me! If you want to see more on how to use your Blendabilities, you can check out this video that Stampin’ Up created! If you want to see some more samples using Blendabilities, check out this one and this one!
Do you enjoy coloring? Do you prefer to color with stamped images like this one or do your own shading? Leave me a comment down below. Also, if you have any tips or tricks, I would love to hear them!!!
I love this quick and simple card that is just fabulous….after all it has flowers on it!!!! I started with a card base of Bermuda Bay but you could use any color you would like for this! Then I took a piece of Whisper White measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″ and punched along the left hand side with my Petite Petals Punch! You can do as many as you wish just be sure to stay away from the edges and away from each flower. You don’t want to punch real close and have it rip because it is too close! Then you will stamp your greeting! I used the greeting from Petite Pairs (how fitting ; ) )but there is plenty of room for a large greeting or small one! Before adhering it down with Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added some Bermuda Bay Baker’s Twine to the middle. Now you can place it on the front of your card. To finish it off, I added Pearls to the center of each flower! You could always use a Rhinestone OR (this just came to me) you could do this in yellow and add a Basic Black Candy Dot to the center and it would look like a Daisy! Oh I just may have to go do that! Also, you can add some of those punched flowers to the inside of your card for a little decoration! Isn’t that fabulous and simple? I love it!
