The Delightfully Detailed Designer Paper is so fun and absolutely stunning! There are just so many amazing features to it!

Delightfully Detailed Designer Paper, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Look at these fine details….that you don’t have to cut out or pop out the pieces in between yourself. It’s all done for you and the detail is amazing. There are 8 sheets in the pack – 4 each of the 2 designs shown above. The one on the left is a full 12″ x 12″ sheet of that floral detail. This is fun to cut into pieces or use as a full sheet for a background or scrapbook page. The sheet on the right has borders as well as pieces that can be cut for card fronts. Although you could always cut them into pieces for even more projects too! Another fabulous feature about this designer paper is that one side is vanilla and the other is white. I love that versatility built right in. Of course, you can always color the paper with a Sponge Dauber, Sponge Brayer, Spritz, etc. There are lots of possibilities with this stuff. Click the photo below to get some so you can start adding fine beautiful details to your projects!

If Flowers Were Hugs…

If Flowers Were Hugs, I Would Send You A Thousand. Is that not the sweetest greeting ever or what?!?!?!

If Flowers were Hugs, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This amazing card was created with the Abstract Impressions Stampin’ Up Stamp Set! I am in love with the greeting and of course it has flowers in it too! The flowers are multi-step stamping but there is no lining up needed. Just stamp the images over each other and it looks amazing!!! How easy is that!?!?!

I started with a Blueberry Bushel card base measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″. Next, I took a piece of Whisper White measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″ and stamped the flowers from the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set all over the background. I made sure to fall off the cardstock so that the pattern looks like it continues on. For that two-toned look, I simply stamped the larger more solid image in Blueberry Bushel Ink and then stamped off onto a scrap piece of paper and then on my project. For the smaller image, I stamped it in full strength Blueberry Bushel Ink. Then I added this piece to the card front.

For the greeting, I cut a piece of Pineapple Punch cardstock (4″ x 1-1/2″) and Whisper White cardstock (4″ x 1″). I stamped the greeting on the right side using the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set and Blueberry Bushel Ink. I went with the same color of ink so that I only needed 1 ink pad for this card! Easier clean up and no confusion as to which pad to stamp the image into always makes for quicker projects. Next, adhered the greeting to the Pineapple Punch and then tied some Blueberry Bushel Grosgrain Ribbon around on the left side. I added the greeting to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals for some texture.

Here is another samples I created using Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch! I love the combinations and simplicity of the card! Which one do you like best? Let me know in the comments below!

NEW Colors of Stampin’ Blends!!!

Posted on

Happy Monday!!! I am so excited that the NEW Colors of Stampin’ Blends are now available!!! There are tons of colors to pick from now and it’s just heavenly!

NEW Colors of Stampin' Blends, www.laurasstamppad.com

I really love the Stampin’ Blends. They make me feel like an artist which I totally am not. Shading, shadows, and blending make me have a blank look on my face thinking I have no clue. With the Stampin’ Blends and Stampin Up’s amazing stamp designs, it’s so easy. I usually follow the lines of the image with the dark marker and then color in circles all over with the light marker. AMAZING! It’s that simple! Now of course, if you know all about shadows and shading, go for it! You are a rockstar! Either way these markers are perfect for everyone!

Now with even more colors…..like PINK….you can color and enjoy so much more! I’m most excited about Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick as well as Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green! You all know I love pink so I’m excited about those but also for a brighter/darker pink since before it was just a super light one. More shades of greens are fun for flower bouquets too! You can purchase the Stampin’ Blends individually (light and dark) or in a Combo Pack.

Let me know what color you are most excited about! Click here to start shopping Stampin’ Blends!

Notes of Kindness Card Kit!!!

Posted on

Happy Tuesday! I’m taking a bit of a break from Technique Tuesday but here is a fabulous kit for you to check out! The Notes of Kindness Card Kit is one of Stampin’ Up’s NEW All Inclusive Kits and it’s beautiful!!!

Notes of Kindness Card Kit, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This kit does have flowers in it so you know I was in love at first sight. I love the mint and light pink color combination as well. The stamps are all Thank You which is something I use a lot so I’m excited there too. Any time I need more quick Thank You Notes, I can just purchase a Refill Kit too. I love that option. This kit is perfect for gift giving since it includes everything you need. It’s also great to grab and go if you want to stamp on vacation or while waiting for your oil to be changed. Just grab the box and some scissors!

This kit has a watercolor look to some of the images. There are die cuts, sticker pieces, and banners for stamping. The white banners for the greetings have a stitched edge which adds a little texture and fun to it. I am a big fan of the Stitched Shapes Framelits for that reason! Pearls and Copper Thread are the embellishments. I’m not sure I would have pairs copper with this color combination so I can’t wait to put this kit together and try it out….and then use on future projects.

I will be putting this kit together soon…..hopefully! Then I will share the completed look and my thoughts on steps and all. Click the photos below to get your kit to enjoy with me! Let me know what you think of this kit!

If you would like to see the unboxing of this kit, check out the Video Tutorial below or click here! I hope you found this super useful. Be sure to give the video a thumbs up if you liked it and don’t forget to subscribe if you are new. I Had A Baby!!!

Posted on

Finally…..it seemed she would never come out. At 41 weeks and 3 days…..after 33 hours of labor……and a C-Section, I had a Baby!!! Meet Ziggy or now known as Claire Marie!!!

I had a Baby, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Here are just a few of the millions of photos I have taken in the first 3 weeks of her life! 🙂 I just can’t help myself as she is so precious…..I know I’m a little biased!

So we were scheduled to be induced on Sunday, May 27th in the evening! We had a great Saturday and I was making a list of things to finish up on Sunday before we headed in. Little One had different plans and just after I got into bed Saturday night, my water broke. It was super exciting and fun! Just what I wanted! I wanted that excitement and rush and fun. My husband on the other hand was on board for a scheduled induction. I wasn’t having contractions so there was no real panic to get moving to the hospital or even crazy pain. There was the high of oh my goodness, this is it! Once we got to the hospital, there were 33 hours of waiting and trying to get her out! With lack of progression and lots of pain kicking in, we opted for a C-section.

I am recovering very well. Claire is doing great too! Together we are learning each others ways although just when we think she likes or dislikes something, that changes. 🙂 I’m starting to feel like there is a bit of a routine forming but it’s still very fussy on the edges and doesn’t always go as planned!

If you would like to see some video of little Miss and my story, check out the video below or click here! Be sure to give it a thumbs up if you liked it and be sure you are subscribed so you get a notification when I post a video.

So Much Fun at Girls Night Out, www.LaurasStampPad.com
