Warmest Wishes Paper Pumpkin Kit!

The November 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Warmest Wishes contained little glittered winter houses that are to be used as treat packaging! They are so shiny and cute!!!

The glittered snow really doesn’t show up in these photos and that makes me sad. The kit comes with the houses having the glitter on them already which is even better. YAH! Safe glitter! All you have to do is fold on the score lines, add wreaths with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the twine and tag! The kit also includes cellophane bags and wreath stickers to seal them closed. It is just sooooo cute!

My plan with this kit each year is to use it for neighbor gifts! I make Saltine Toffee and bag it up. We walk up and down the street dropping it off on porches for our neighbors! I do have a small problem with this Warmest Wishes Kit…..it’s too little! I could give everyone like 1 bite of the toffee but that is no fun! Soooooo I cut the houses into two. First, I cut the top at the roof and then I cut the bottom flap off so it’s just the front and back of the house. Next, I took the Very Best Trio Punch and added a little hole for ribbon at the top! Now I have a tag to attach to a bag of toffee! PERFECT! Also, since I cut them into 2, I now have twice as many!!! YAH!

Water Painters For The Win!

Stampin’ Up! Water Painters come in a 3 pack and they are amazing for watercoloring, creating backgrounds AND sealing envelopes rather than licking them!

Stampin’ Up! Water Painters come as a 3 pack. There is a fine tip brush, a thicker (marker like tip) brush, and a wide, flat brush (as shown in blue above). These brushes are just $13.00 (plus tax and shipping) and you can do so many amazing things with them!

Simply fill the barrel with water and use to watercolor a stamped image. Once you are finished with a color, wipe off the tip on a paper towel and move to the next color. You can also create backgrounds with them. Stripes, polka dots, plaid, a border…..the possibilities are endless. One of my favorite things to use my Water Painter for is sealing envelopes. Especially during this time of year when I’m sealing lots of envelopes, it’s quick and simple and no watery mess. Best of all no nasty taste in my mouth or a paper cut on my tongue. Momming Is Hard!

I said it and I’ll say it again….Momming Is Hard! So I want to give a big shout out to all the moms out there! You are amazing! You are doing a great job! I see you!!!

I wish I could make a million of these cards and mail them to all the Moms out there or for nurse to hand out. Being a mom for a little over 5 years has been crazy hard so far and I can only imagine there is more to come.

The roller coaster of emotions that we go through each day or week or month. We love our children so much but geez sometimes we need to jut get away from them. Hearing their laughter and sweet baby words is amazing but Momma, Momma, Momma a million times before 8 a.m. is enough to make anyone go insane. The mental overload of schedules, snacks, activities, laundry, friendships, and did I remember to say I love before they fell asleep. Trying to find me time and time to work my business is so hard.

I’m so thankful for healthy, amazing children and being able to spend so much time with them growing up. I love that my job is flexible and I have been able to scale up or down when needed. All of that has been amazing and I am forever grateful! I also LOVE each and every one of you. Throughout the years, you have been here for me and that means a lot! This Momma needs you and has loved knowing I have a bit of an “out” even if it’s on my computer, in front of my camera, or at my classes!

So let’s all take a deep breath, pat ourselves on the back and say, “I AM AMAZING!” You truly are! And Momming is hard! Love and hugs to all of you!

How cute is this little card?!? The sentiment is super fabulous for a just because card. I do wish the size of the card was mailable but not all cute cards are! Just means I need to hand deliver some kindness. A friend, neighbor, teacher, mailman, etc. would be the perfect recipient for a card like this!

Treat Bags…..not my favorite thing as I never know what to do with them. BUT not this time. I have been wanting to give a little card or treat to the car line workers at the kid’s school and the teachers and helpers. They are very kind and cheery and I’m so thankful for everything they do. I thought a little note of thanks would be perfect! These are just that! I was going to get some candy but honestly I think I’m going to wait for Halloween and use some of the kid’s candy because we all know they get way to much! Perfect!

Simple Card Design!!!

I am all for a simple card design that can be used with many different colors, patterns, stamp sets, etc. This one is just that!!! Pick your favorite colors and designer paper! Grab a stamp set and your favorite punch/die and let’s get started!

I started with a Boho Blue card base. Next, I took a 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ strip of the 2023-2025 In Color Designer Paper and layered it onto Pebbled Path cardstock (1-3/4″ x 5-1/2″). This strip can be added in the middle of the card front or towards the bottom like mine above! Then I took the Circle Saying Stamp Set and the coordinating Circle Punch for the greeting! Add this to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals for some texture! To finish it off, I added some ribbon and dots!

For the inside of the card, I added a piece of Basic White measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″. On opposing corners, I stamped the floral image in Boho Blue! I love how the flowers frame this piece and add a little bit of decoration! Don’t forget to stamp your envelopes as well!

Meaningful Flowers Paper Pumpkin Kit!!!

The August 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit was called Meaningful Flowers and I loved it! The flowers were a lotus and a forget me not. You all know how much I love flowers so this kit didn’t disappoint.

The beautiful shades of blue and yellow are stunning. It makes me think of a sunrise and I love it. The instructions didn’t say to use the clear little dots but there were plenty leftover so I added them to the 5 flowers up front.

The card front is only a half sheet so you get that peek-a-boo effect on the top half. This does make it more difficult to write a message on the inside but you can use the inside of the card front which is white. The back of the card is not an option really because there is a beautiful flower description. Although you could always use the upper portion of the back of the card!

Lotus Flower – Paper Pumpkin Kit!

The second card in the kit is this stunning lotus flower. This card was super easy to put together. All you need to do is create a pocket with the vellum lily pads, stamp the greeting and add the clear dots! You can see the clear dots much easier in this card photo than the card above. The greeting “You are capable of amazing things” is so powerful and uplifting. I love it!

I’m not sure if the recipient would do this, but you could always take the little flower and greeting out and put it in your car or on your mirror. It’s the perfect little message to brighten your day!

The inside of this card is all white and perfect room for writing a message. The back of the card does have the beautiful flower description as well!
