Have you ever used a Spritzer for a fun watercolor look?!? Give this fun technique a try and you will want to spritz that and this and everything else!!! Check it out!

For the card on the left, the background was spritzed for a fun water look!

1. Score the 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ Basic White Cardstock at 4-1/4″ and fold it in half to make the card base!
2. Mix Azure Afternoon ink refill with rubbing alcohol in a spritzer. Be sure the rubbing alcohol is 70% alcohol or less so it doesn’t eat the plastic of the spritzer. Spritz on 3-1/2″ x 5″ Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Don’t overspritz to make it too wet.
   Once the watercolor paper is dry, adhere it to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
3. Stamp the octopus image in Timid Tiger and Secret Sea inks on a piece of Basic White Cardstock measuring 3″ x 4-1/4″. Die cut the stamped octopus image with Everyday Arches Dies and adhere it to the card front!
4. Stamp the sentiment in Secret Sea ink on 1/2″ x 3-1/8″ Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and adhere it to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals!!!
5. Stamp the hearts in Flirty Flamingo ink on the 3/4″ x 2″ Basic White Cardstock scrap piece, fussy cut, and adhere them to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals!!

If you would like to take your spritzing up a notch, try the card on the right side!!

1. Score the 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ Timid Tiger Cardstock at 4-1/4″ and fold it in half to create your card base!
2. Stamp the seaweed and seahorse images repeatedly in Flirty Flamingo ink onto a piece of Flirty Flamingo measuring 1/4″ x 4-3/4″. Adhere this layer to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
3. Ink the octopus image in Flirty Flamingo ink. “Rock and roll” the edges of the octopus image in Timid Tiger ink. Then spritz the inked stamp with a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with water, then stamp on the image onto a piece of watercolor paper measuring 3-1/2″ x 5″. Let the paper dry, then stamp the face of the octopus in Secret Sea ink.
4. Die cut the octopus with the second largest arch die so there is stitching on the top and bottom. Adhere the stamped layer to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals!!!
5. Stamp the sentiment in Secret Sea ink on the Basic White Cardstock scrap piece and trim around each word. Adhere the words to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals!!

I love these 2 techniques using Spritzers – one with just water and one with ink and alcohol! Super fun and easy to recreate many times over! Are you ready to Spritz that the next time you are crafting?!?! I hope you have fun!
