It’s A Sheep Party!!!

Posted on

It’s a Sheep Party for my Birthday!!!! My birthday was actually this past weekend but I like to celebrate all month long. Today is the last day of my birthday month. Lucky for you Sale-A-Bration continues through the end of September!!!

Sheep Party Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I really love Z fold Cards because they show off so many layers and fun just like these cute sheep! They are totally having fun! I used the Counting Sheep Stamp Set which is a Sale-A-Bration FREE Item and the coordinating Sheep Dies are ALSO a FREE Sale-A-Bration item! Woot Woot! That means if you spend $100 or 2 orders of $50 during Sale-A-Bration, you can select these!

I started with a Pacific Point card base measuring 11″ x 4-1/4″ and folded it in half at 5-1/2″. Then I took the card front and folded it back in half to create the Z (at 2-3/4″). Next, I stamped one sheep onto a piece of Basic White (4″ x 5-1/4″) in Memento Black Ink and added it to the inside of the card. I also stamped another sheep onto a piece of scrap Basic White and die cut it out. There are 3 sheep to pick from so have fun with it! I colored the legs, ears, and face with Ivory Stampin’ Blends and the hooves with Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends!

Counting Sheep Stampin' Up Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

The front panel of the card has a layer of Basic White (2-1/2″ x 4″) and then layer of Granny Apple Green (2-1/4″ x 3-3/4″). Using the grass stamp from the Counting Sheep Stamp Set, I stamped randomly all over in Granny Apple Green! This just adds a little more fun to card! For the greeting, I used the Double Oval Punch and added it to the card with adhesive only on the left hand side so it could hang off a bit.

TIP: The dies come with a balloon and a flag! To reduce die cutting all day long, I die cut both of them at the same time in Real Red scraps. Some of my cards had a flag in the sheep’s hand and other’s had a balloon! Two for the crank of one! 😉 LOL

Check out all the supplies I used below so you can create a Sheep Party card for your next birthday celebration!! Don’t forget that Sale-A-Bration ends September 30th and these freebies are while supplies last!!!

July 2021 Paper Pumpkin!!!

Omg I’m so behind! I realized I never shared with you the July 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit! It was super cute and I have actually sent out all of the cards already! The perfect cards for back to school and sending those kids off!

July 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card is super cute with that little camper and while I didn’t send it to anyone who was actually going camping, the greeting was perfect! I sent this one to my niece who went off to college! The fun thing about these cards is that they are 3 panels….the front opens to the left with that die cut window and camper and then the trees that you see in the background open as another panel to the right. This makes for a perfect LARGE space to write on this inside and I loved it!

Greeting Card Craft Kit, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card is so moving to me. That beautiful scene and bright shining moon and a greeting that is so uplifting! Also, have I mentioned how AMAZING those sequins are?!?! They are stunning and there was enough to put like 5 on each card! Eeeeeee

Summertime Lightening Bugs, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Lightening bugs remind me so much of summertime childhood. I spent many hours as a kid catching them and putting them in jars or chasing them around the yard. This card is special to me for that reason and again I love the uplifting greeting!

If you want to see this kit in action, check out my Facebook Live!!! Like and follow me on Facebook to see more Paper Pumpkin Reveals and other fun card making projects!

The August Paper Pumpkin kit is already out and it was a Hope Box which I will be sharing soon. There is still time to get signed up for the September Paper Pumpkin Kit. It is Fall themed and features 12 treat boxes to use for any occasion this Fall or even Halloween! Click here to sign up!

Perfectly Elegant, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Flowers of All Colors!!!

Posted on

I love all flowers of all colors! The more bright and vibrant the better. When it comes to stamping I try to mix it up and use different color or use a color I haven’t used in a while or one that I have an abundance of cardstock for! Here I used the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set to create some quick and fabulous floral cards for any occasion!

Flowers of All Colors, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I went with a simple Gorgeous Grape card base and then cut 2 pieces of Basic White (4″ x 5-1/4″). One is for the front of the card and the other is for the inside of the card! Using the Stamparatus for the large floral image, I stamped it in Gorgeous Grape. It was super simple to do and any time I missed a spot with the ink pad, I could easily ink it back up and stamp it again. Gotta love the Stamparatus for the ability to do that!!!

Next, I filled in with all of the other colors and images. The center of the flowers were stamped in Mango Melody and the leaves in Pear Pizzazz Ink. Then the small flowers in between and all around are stamped in Highland Heather! Of course I wanted to coordinate the inside of the card so I stamped a few extra small flowers in there as well!

I think that this card is perfect for so many different occasions – Birthday, Thank You, Thinking of You, Wedding, etc. What occasion would you use this card for? Let me know in the comments below!

If you would like to recreate this card with flowers of all colors, click on the supplies listed below! Remember that all orders of $50 will earn a FREE Sale-A-Bration item!!! Woot Woot!

Beauty of the Earth!!!

Lately I have been so drawn to nature images and trees. It is kind of shocking me but with the stunning images in this Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set and Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper, I’m going with it!

Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card is fairly simple with just a little bit of stamping and layering!!! I started with a Basic White card base and layered on a piece of the Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper (4″ x 5-1/4″). Next, I took a piece of Basic White (1-3/4″ x 5-1/4″) and stamped the tree and greeting! I used Old Olive and Early Espresso Ink Pads! Then I layered this onto Old Olive cardstock (2″ x 5-1/4″). Before adding it to the card front, I wrapped a bit of twine around the bottom with the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack. This pack is perfect for all of your neutral looks! Pop that onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and you are all set!

If you want to get into the nature look with me, check out the supplies listed below and let’s get started! Want to see more samples with these products, click here!

Take Your Pick!

Posted on

The Take Your Pick Tool is one of those super handy tools to have on your crafting space all the time. I even have more than 1 because I lose mine in the mess….and for when I have classes! 🙂 Do you have one?

Take Your Pick Tool, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Reason I love it / Tips:
~It’s small and easy to have in a cup next to your craft space.
~There are lots of different ends for lots of different uses!
~My favorite is now the putty end to put jewels on your project. It’s just so easy to press the putty on the side of a jewel to pick up and then set on your project! Just put your finger on the jewel and pull the putty away! So quick and easy and better than a fingernail! You can get putty refills as well!
~The stylus end can be used to make a fabulous edge around your die cut image for a little extra texture and dimension. Simply leave the cardstock in the die and run the stylus around the metal edge! Click here to see that video!

~I used the pointy tip for various things like popping out a die cut, pocking out cardstock that doesn’t come out with the die, holding cardstock while I heat emboss and more!
~Also, did you know there is a Brush Attachment that you can use to pop die cut bits out of your image???
~The pancake flipper end is used to get under a project to pop it up, slide adhesive under in a spot I missed, and sometimes for jewels.
~The only con I have is that it gets buried in the mess on my desk and I can’t find it. LOL Good thing I have more than one!

Do you have a Take Your Pick Tool? Do you love it? How do you use your tips? Do share! I would love to hear more.

Absolutely Amazing!!!

Posted on

I’m all about the quick and simple cards lately. I just don’t have the time to craft and create like I did in the past. It makes me kind of sad but I also keep telling myself it’s just a season and soak up all the baby/toddler time I can. This Absolutely Amazing card is super uplifting and beautiful!

Absolutely Amazing Greeting Card, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I created this card with the Color & Contour Stamp Set which I am super loving lately! Polished Pink & Basic Gray are the ink colors I used so it was minimal supplies that I had to get out! This card was also created on a Note Card & Envelope set! No cardstock cutting or anything! Ribbon is my go-to embellishment so of course I had to add some of that. You could also add some bling too! There are lots of ways to add to this card for a more detailed look or a simple one!

This card is a perfect one to send as #happymail any time. It could simply be to brighten someone’s day or you could even send it as a birthday card! I love sending #happymail! The impact of a handstamped card is amazing! With all the bills and junk mail that arrive daily, seeing that little envelope with your name on it and maybe even a decorated envelope is sure to brighten your day!

I wish I could send you all some happy mail because you are truly amazing and mean so much to me. You all fill my heart and soul with happiness and gratitude! Thank you for following me here on my blog, watching my Facebook Lives or YouTube videos, and interacting with me! I love the community I have built and feel like we are all family! THANK YOU!!!

Enjoy The Moment!!!

Posted on

Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them!!! The Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set has images that some may think are weeds or a nuisance but they makes some pretty fabulous cards!!

Enjoy the Moment Stampin' Up Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I needed some cards…..like REALLY BAD! My stash was getting really low since I wasn’t stamping as much after the birth of Alex! I got out this stamp set because I hadn’t played with it yet. It probably isn’t something I would have picked out myself but I got it free from Stampin’ Up at one of the events last year. Fabulous demonstrator perks!!!

Bakers Twine Essentials Pack, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I used a Very Vanilla card base, Soft Succulent layer (4″ x 5-1/4″) and then Very Vanilla layer (3-3/4″ x 5″). All of the stamping is in Early Espresso which makes this card quick and simple – one ink pad and one stamp set!

The first one was just layered and simple. The second one I added a little bit of the twine from the Bakers Twine Essential Pack! Then for the third card, I added in even more with some Stitched Rectangles, twine, and Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder! Which one is your favorite??

Stampin' Up! Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Honestly, I started out with this 3rd one and slowly made it more and more simple! I actually like the simplest one the most! There is just something about the colors and layers that I love! I love it so much I made a 20 more in various colors – Mossy Meadow, Just Jade, and Night of Navy!!! I love them all and now I have a good masculine card stash!

Masculine Birthday Cards, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Click the items below so you can make these cards using the Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set! Have fun making them just like me!
