I have had lots of fun with the Berry Merry Stamp Set. I love the big greetings and then all of the little decorations that you can use around it! Flowers, snowflakes, bows and more are just so fabulous to create a masterpiece! This card is very basic. I used a Whisper White card base and stamped the Season’s Greetings image in Tip Top Taupe! I love the greeting all by it’s self but I added a little foo foo around it to dress it up! I stamped the poinsettia flower in Real Red and the leaves in Cucumber Crush. The little snowflakes were stamped in Pool Party and then I finished it off with a few Pearls!
I love to create cards with layers and ribbons and loads of craziness but sometimes a simple one layer card like this is just as stunning! Which do you prefer – lots of layers and goodies OR simple and basic??? Let me know in the comments below!
Happy Friday everyone!!! It has been a fabulous week for sure! I so love what I do and I love it even more when I can share it with others! The week started out on Sunday stamping Christmas Cards with my Mom! I really enjoy sharing that special time with her and working on cards together. For the most part, she would rather just buy some cards I have already made so these times are really special.
I had my Monthly Stamp Class at the Retirement Village in town here on Monday and a Holiday Card Class at the Library on Tuesday! Some of these people have stamped before and enjoy it so much they can’t get enough. I love that but even more I love those first time stampers who are so excited that they actually made a card! That smile and excitement when the ink hits the paper is just amazing! <3 I love every minute of it!
I had my Tempting Techniques Stamp Camp on Thursday morning and evening and tomorrow I will be doing a Craft Fair! My heart just might burst with love and excitement! I truly love what I do and you all make me love it so much more!
Of course it isn’t a Friday without the Weekly Deals and because it is Friday, the 13th and you have all made my week I am offering DOUBLE Laura’s Loyal Stampers Points this weekend (Friday – Sunday). So when you place an order (click here to shop) online, you can take advantage of the fabulous deals as well as earn Free Stuff!!!! Woot Woot!!!
I hope you have had a wonderful week and have an amazing weekend! I’ll see you back here on Monday!!!
Isn’t this card just fabulous??? That subtle bling is just perfect! It isn’t too much and you don’t have to worry about creating a huge glittery mess when you create this card! I used Dazzling Details, a Sponge Dauber and a Mask! How amazing!?!?!
I started with a Whisper White card base! I took a piece of Real Red measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″ and placed the Dots Decorative Mask over top of it! Then I squeezed some Dazzling Details into a old embellishment container (or any plastic surface) and using a Sponge Dauber, I pounced over the polka dots. You don’t want to add lots of glitter because it will take forever to dry and will bleed under the mask a little. Once you have filled all of the polka dots, pull off the mask and set it aside to dry. You can always use your Heat Tool to speed up the process a little!
Once it was dried, I added it to the card front. For the greeting, I used the Berry Merry Stamp Set and die cut it with the Lots of Labels Framelits! Super cute and fabulous for the Holiday Season!!!
This card I am in LOVE with and it was sort of a mistake. After playing with the glitter, I thought what about adding some Re-Inker to it for some color. I dripped 1 (ONE) drop of Night of Navy in there and HELLO COLOR! I was really surprised at how dark it was. I started playing the stripes on some Whisper White scrap paper. Slowly I was running out of glitter so I added some more Dazzling Details and of course this only lightened the blue more. As I went along I noticed this fabulous ombre affect happening and I was in love. I will say that when you add the re-inker it gets much runnier so it bleed under the mask and wasn’t as crisp. I still love it!!! I layered this onto some Night of Navy Cardstock and then Marina Mist. I put it all onto a Whisper White card base. For the greeting, I used the Tin of Cards Stamp Set and Decorative Label Punch!
I love the subtle glittery look and I love Dazzling Details in all of the colors – Silver, Gold, Red, and Dazzling! You can check out my Video Tutorial below of by clicking here! Don’t forget to give it a thumbs up if you liked it!!!
Happy Veteran’s Day! Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to those who served and those who are still serving! I recently created some cards for a friend of mine who is the National President of the American Legion Auxiliary! I thought today was the perfect day to share what I created! I made some samples up and asked her which one she liked and she said she liked them all so I created a few of each!!!
This one uses a Whisper White card base and I stamped the stars in the background in Real Red and Night of Navy from the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set! Some of the stars were stamped in full strength ink and some were the 2nd time stamping which is why there are a few that are lighter! The greeting is from the One Big Meaning Stamp Set and punched out with the Decorative Label Punch! Of course I added the greeting to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals!
This one uses a Whisper White card base and I stamped the stars from the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set in Night of Navy on the corners! The greeting is from the One Big Meaning Stamp Set and I stamped that in Real Red! Quick and simple and no layers but yet still stunning!!
This one uses a Whisper White card base and I stamped the star from the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set in Real Red! I stamped off once on a piece of scrap paper so it wasn\’t so dark and the greeting would show up better. The long swish and the bigger swish are from the Work of Art Stamp Set! I love hoe versatile that set is! The greeting is from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set!
This card is on a Whisper White card base and uses all image from the Work of Art Stamp Set! That set is super popular and I know many of you out there have this set! Did you ever think you could come up with a fabulous card like this one?? Well now you can! I love it!! You can see more samples using this set here and here!
Happy Tuesday!!! That means I have some fabulous techniques to share with you! Today I’m sharing more Punch Art using the Owl Builder Punch! I hope you are all enjoying this series! Click to see the September Punch Art and October Punch Art! Now let’s get started on the November Punch Art!
With all of the different holidays coming up, I thought I would share the Turkey, Moose, Reindeer and Lion this month! Lots of animals…..and yet not one owl! 🙂 Let’s get started!
This little turkey was created with the Owl Builder Punch! You need a Soft Suede owl body and breast piece. You will need a Pumpkin Pie lower owl body including the feet. You will need 4 Pumpkin Pie Banners from the Banner Punch! Also, 3 Cajun Craze Banners and 3 Soft Suede Banners. You will need a Real Red heart from the Owl Builder Punch and 2 white circles from the Owl Builder Punch. I brushed the edges of the breast piece with a Soft Suede Sponge Dauber to add a little darker color and dimension. I cut of the Soft Suede feet and adhered the Pumpkin Pie piece to the back allowing those feet to show! Layer the 3 banners together for all of the feathers and adhere those to the back of the owl body. For the eyes, I used a Daffodil Delight Marker to color the bottom half and then a Basic Black Marker to color the dots! I added those to the body with Mini Glue Dots! I used the 4th Pumpkin Pie banner to cut the triangle nose and paired that with the heart for his gobbler!!! He is so cute!!! You could use him on a tag, place setting, treat bag, or card this Thanksgiving!
The little reindeer uses the Owl Builder Punch and Bird Builder Punch! You will need 1 owl body and 2 leaves from the bird punch in Soft Suede. I used Red Glimmer Paper for his nose and punched it out with the small circle in the Owl Builder Punch. I added the nose with Mini Glue Dots and put the leaves on the top of his head! I added googly eyes because I think they are adorable and drew in the mouth with a Basic Black marker! He would be perfect for a tag, treat bag or even on a card!
The moose uses the Owl Builder Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch and 3/4″ Circle Punch! I used lots of shades of brown to give him some dimension and variation. The owl body was punched in Chocolate Chip, the antlers with the Elegant Butterfly Punch were punched in Soft Suede and the circle was punched in Early Espresso! I used a Basic Black Marker to color 2 little nose holes (like tear drops) and then adhered it to the owl body. Of course I cut off the little feet from the owl. I cut the butterfly wings off and rounded them off a little. I attached the wings behind the owl body for the antlers and added the googly eyes!!!
This little Lion was created with the Owl Builder Punch and the 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch! I punched the owl body out in Crushed Curry and the little heart from the Owl Builder punch in Chocolate Chip. The scallop circle was punched out in Cajun Craze. I cut off the little feet from the owl and added the googly eyes and the heart nose. I used a Mini Glue Dot for the nose…..be sure to push it all onto the paper before placing it on the owl otherwise it will look like a snotty nose like mine above. 🙂 I used a Chocolate Chip Marker to create the mouth and the little freckles! I layered this onto the scallop circle and you are all done! This would be perfect for a kid’s birthday party favor, tag, or card!
If you would like to see all of these in action, check out the Video Tutorial below or by clicking here! Be sure to give it a thumbs up if you liked the video! Don’t forget to Subscribe to My Channel so you don’t miss any of my other videos and next month’s Punch Art!
Which little animal is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below! I think the lion is my favorite or the reindeer! They are all just so cute!
I have been having lots of fun with this little penguin! I have really loved him more than the snowmen which I’m kind of surprised! All of them from the Snow Place Stamp Set are all just so cute! You can get the coordinating Snow Friends Framelits as well. Purchase them together and you will save 15%! I did everything on this card on one layer because I was going for a simple look!
I started with a Cherry Cobbler card base and added a piece of Merry Moments Designer Series Paper Stack measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″! There are 24 pieces of this design in the stack so that makes making multiples much easier! I stamped the penguin from the Snow Place Stamp Set in Basic Black and colored in his feet and beak with a Pumpkin Pie marker! I stamped the little bow tie in Real Red. I used the Circle Framelits to cut out the penguin and create the Old Olive layer! I added this piece to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals as well as the greeting! The greeting was from the November 2014 Paper Pumpkin Kit! I am doing a large class with lots of Holiday cards using many different sets so I dipped into a few of my Paper Pumpkin Stamps to make sure I had different greetings on each! The greeting was punched out with the Washi Label Punch! I brushed the edges with a Real Red Sponge Dauber to make it pop out more!
Which image do you prefer – the snowmen or the penguin?? Let me know in the comments below!
Happy November!!! We are one week in and I still can’t believe it! I am excited about all of the Holiday Card Classes that I have this month! I love sharing what I love with all of you here on my blog and all the people in my classes!!! It really fills my heart! <3
Also, I wanted to share a little update on the October Paper Pumpkin campaign to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Stampin’ Up donated $1 for every current subscriber and $2 for every new subscriber the in September. They donated a total of $36,378 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation! That is absolutely amazing!!!! Don’t forget to sign up for the November Paper Pumpkin Kit before Tuesday, the 10th!!!
I hope you have an amazing weekend! I’ll see you back here on Monday!!!
I know that the Holidays can be hectic and expensive when you are running around from party to party, buying gifts for lots of people, and traveling around! Well I have created and quick and affordable card for you to create anywhere, anytime and it won’t break the bank! I used Note Cards and Envelopes which come 20 to a pack and they are pre-scored and ready to go! I used the Season of Cheer Washi Tape from the Holiday Mini Catalog! You don’t even need scissors for this – just rip it with your fingers. I actually did use scissors on the left hand side but you could rip it and wrap it to the backside! There are 5 styles of Washi Tape and 5 yards of on each roll! That is a lot of Washi Tape and gives you many different looks when you mix and match! You can use any greeting that you have on hand to stamp on the card. I used Pear Pizzazz Ink and the greeting is from the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set! You could create this card while traveling or in between putting cookies in the oven! Love it!
If you would like to see this in action and see how quick it took me to create it…..1 minute 45 seconds! Check out the video below or click here!!! Don’t forget to give it a thumbs up if you liked it!
This month’s Paper Pumpkin was soooo exciting!!! Not only was the box PINK but it was in support of Breast Cancer Awareness! Stampin’ Up donated $36,378 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation! Thank you to everyone who got the October Kit!!! Also, the stamp set is flowers and you know how I love flowers!!!
You can see the reveal of this kit in this video! The colors and flowers are so much fun and I didn’t even get to color them in! I will be playing with this stamp set a lot!!!
Here are all 9 of the cards that the kit creates! I really loved the colors and was super impressed how the dark outline really made the flower and leaves POP! Check this out!
The Designer Paper looks amazing as is but then when you stamp the outline of the leaves and flowers using the Basic Gray Ink, wowza, they look amazing! I love it!!! Of course there is always tons of extras left in the kit so I created these cards!
I used Note Cards & Envelopes to create these cards! Cute and simple and a great way to use up the items! I still have the twine and some gold leaves left! There is also like a half a sheet of Stampin’ Dimensionals left! WOOT WOOT!
You can check out some of the past Paper Pumpkin Kit here! Be sure to sign up before November 10th to get the November Kit! I can’t wait to see what it is….I’m guessing it will be Holiday or Winter themed but we shall see! Click here to get signed up!
Would you like to check a few people off your Christmas List? Paper Pumpkin is a wonderful option for those who are crafty and/or would like to spend some quality time with someone each month whether it be your daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt or friend! You can purchase a 1,3,6 or 12 month Subscription! It fits every budget! Click here to get started!
You can use those Whisper White scraps that you have been saving….surely I’m not the only one! 🙂 I stamped the Penguin, Snowmen, Arms and Top Hat from the Snow Place Stamp Set all in Basic Black! You can stamp with fairly close together but not sure close that the Framelits would cut into the one next to it. I stamped the ear muffs in Melon Mambo and the bow tie in Bermuda Bay. There are lots of other pieces in this set that you can use as well – buttons, hat, scarf, snowcone, and more! Once you have everything stamped, it is time to cut the out with the coordinating Snow Friends Framelits. I used the Magnetic Platform when die cutting these out because the frames stick to this platform and don’t move around. You can cut lots of pieces out at one time, as long as they all fit on the platform! This way you don’t have to run it through the Big Shot millions of times! Once you have your pieces cut out, it is time to assemble!!!
I started with A Bermuda Bay card base and layered on some Basic Black. Then I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot in the Softly Falling Embossing Folder! I added this to the Basic Black layer and then built my snowmen on the card. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals of course! For the nose, I used a Pumpkin Pie Marker to color it in!
This is the penguin that I created in the Video Tutorial! You can check that out below or by clicking here! Don’t forget to give it a thumbs up if you liked it!
