Happy Friday everyone!!! I’m excited about this weekend because I’m traveling over to see some of my stampers who live a few hours away! Have Stamps, Will Travel!!!! I don’t get to see these ladies as often as I wish but when I do we really have a great time! Can’t wait!!!! But first I will share a little about last weekend!!!
The Shower was very nice and really turned out well! The Daddy-To-Be is a hunter. The moment I saw the antlers in the Wonderland Stamp Set, I knew I needed to use them for the Shower Invite! To keep with the theme, I used some burlap on the table with some antler sheds and beautiful baby’s breath in blue mason jars with burlap bows! Love it!!! We had dessert cups and yummy punch! I am loving this new punch recipe I found! 🙂
The Family Reunion was lots of fun as well. Perfect cool weather, lots (82) of family together and good times were had by all!

Can you believe it’s September?? It’s Friday? It’s a Holiday Weekend??? Woot Woot for the last two!!! I wish it was more like May all over again! I’m sorry, I just prefer Spring and Summer. I do like Pumpkin flavored items though……and you all love me again! 🙂
First things first…..my adorable Birthday Card from my Husband!!!
Isn’t the little Domo adorable??? He has been making me a card with a Domo on it for years now! He did a really good job and even got the colors matching – Rich Razzleberry Cotton Ribbon and ink!!! He said he used punches for the gift box! The greeting is from the Big News Stamp Set! I told him he should have watched my Fork Bow Tutorial to create a mini bow for the top of the box! I love it no matter what because my husband made it for me with lots of love!!! 🙂

Today is my Birthday and I love Birthdays! They are a day to celebrate life and what better way to celebrate than with all things PINK, cupcakes, a cute outfit, and time spent with family!!!! That’s just a few of the things that make me smile even more on my birthday!!! As you know from yesterday, I like celebrating all month long so here are a few ways I have been celebrating!! You will see a common theme I bet!!!
Family Vacation to the Lake! Nothing on the schedule for an entire week. The only decision to be made was Pool or Lake!!!
Weddings and Brides and Love!!!!! I attended a wedding and a Bridal Fair this month! I absolutely love weddings and they make me cry. There is just something about that special day that has so much meaning, love, and family all together!!! Working with Brides to make that day even more special is lots of fun too!! I wish I could get married every weekend but Brad says no; so working with Brides on their wedding fits the need! 🙂
We live near (like 10 minutes away) a Horse Track and have never been in the 4 years we have lived here. I put it on my list of things to do this year and it finally happened during Birthday Month!!! I like to call it Pick Your Pony and it was lots of fun! We won some and lost more but in the end we broke even!!!
And sharing again from yesterday – stamping with friends and cupcakes!!!
These are all of the cards I have received already and yes they are on display on my kitchen table and will be for at least a week! Well, until Stamp Class I guess because then I’ll have to take them down!
I can’t wait to see what the weekend holds. Brad has been working on my card a few evenings this week…..good thing it doesn’t take me a few evenings to complete just 1 card. Spending time with my hubby tomorrow and then headed to my parents on Sunday for a day with the family!!! I couldn’t be more blessed on my Birthday!!! Happy Friday and Happy Birthday Eve to ME!!!!! Of course, I have been celebrating all month long. I think everyone should celebrate their Birthday Month…..trust me it’s more fun that way!!! The week of my Birthday, I like to have a special stamp class. We did all flower cards because those are my favorites, we enjoyed cupcakes and everyone got Stampin’ Dimensionals!!! I couldn’t figure out the timer on my camera so the photos were a bit crazy. Also, it is rather hard to take a selfie when you have short arms and you camera is really big! 🙂 I love the photos anyway!!! The bottom left photo is of my stamper girl, Vel who also is celebrating her birthday tomorrow!!!! BIRTHDAY BUDDIES!!!! My heart is full!!!
Of course, it isn’t a Friday without the Weekly Deals!!! These items are right up my alley as well. Gold Glimmer Paper for a little bling or Silver Glitter Powder for those who live on the edge. I don’t do powder anymore after spilling an entire container all over myself. Glimmer Paper and Dazzling Details for this girl now!!! The Pansy Punch (FLOWER) is super fabulous as well!!

Happy Friday everyone!!! I don’t even know what day it is anymore! We left for our family vacation on Saturday, August 1 and now I’m home but can’t believe it is already August 7th and my days are all messed up! It is crazy how vacation can do that to you!!! We had a wonderful time together with beautiful views and I didn’t get sunburned! I call that a win!!!
It is so beautiful and peaceful in the mornings on the lake!!! LOVE IT!!! In the afternoons when it was really hot and sunny out, I spent a little bit of time in the cabin working on some wedding invites for a Bride!!! I am glad to be back home now and get on a regular schedule again and see all my stampers again! I really miss them when I go a week to a week and a half without seeing any of them! 🙂 You know you are doing something right when a week away makes you miss it all! I did place my Holiday Mini Catalog Pre-Order and can’t wait till it arrives! I will be playing with the goodies, making videos, and prepping for upcoming classes so stay tuned!!! Happy Friday everyone!!! Yesterday was my 2 Year Anniversary with this blog!!! I can’t believe it’s been that long! Here is my very first post and last year’s anniversary post!! I remember starting out and being nervous and now it’s like second nature to me. I feel like you all are my stamping friend whether you are stopping by for the first time or the 730th time!!! Happy Friday!!!! I just wanted to say how much I love all of my Subscribers, Followers, and even those of you who are visiting for the first time! I officially have viewers coast (New York) to coast (Washington) which is just amazing!!!! I know this because I have received Ronald McDonald card donations from wonderful ladies in these states!!! Of course, my favorite items are the Ribbons!!!! That is by far my favorite embellishment!!! I do know of a few customers of mine who will be even more excited to see those Kraft Journal Books even further on sale! Woot Woot! One of my customers decorates them up and gives them as gifts! Super cute! She also uses them herself for various lists she wants to keep track of including her Stampin’ Up Wish List! 🙂 Love it!!!
It was my husband and I’s Wedding Anniversary at the end of April and if you have followed my blog for long you know I like to make really fun and personal cards for him! You can check out my Mario Card here, Minion Card here, and Kirby here! If you haven’t guessed it, my husband likes video games!!! So for our Anniversary I made him this card!!!!
I really love how it turned out and my husband thought it was really good. He mostly commented on the bricks which I thought was hilarious. He also said that she is cross-eyed and he kept trying to fix it 🙂 I started by making her head which uses Circle Punches, the Owl Builder Punch, the Bird Builder Punch (hair), Hearts A Flutter Framelits, and Oval Punch. I drew her eyelashes on with my Basic Black Marker! For the crown, I used Gold Glimmer Paper and punched 3 petals with the Flower Medallion Punch! Then using some Red Glimmer Paper and the Petite Petals Punch I added that red gem! Here she is close up!
I realized that I couldn’t just put her face on a card so I needed some background and that is when I thought I would create her Castle and make it look like she is hanging out the window waving at Mario or screaming for him to rescue her! I needed a little bit of her body so I punched some more circles! For her collar, I punched the Scallop Oval Punch and cut a piece off! For the gem on her chest I cut out one of the gold circles from the Gold Designer Vellum and trimmed it up! Then I started on the bricks which were created with scraps of Smokey Slate and Basic Gray. I rounded the edges with my Project Life Corner Rounder. I brushed the edges using my Sponge Dauber in Basic Gray and pounced all over with some Encore Silver Ink and a Sponge Dauber! That gave the bricks a bit of a shiny brick look! The placement was a bit tricky but I made it work!!! The best part is it was made for my husband and with love!!! After all our cake topper on our wedding was Princess Peach and Mario!!
I do have to admit that Princess Peach was not my original idea for a card……I planned on doing Grumpy Cat.
She just looks like she was in a fight and is made I put a bow on her head.

I couldn’t wait till tomorrow to share with you all of the fun that I had today at Spring Into Stampin’ so I’m posting on a Sunday!!! 🙂 The laughs, friendships, inspiration, and excitement were at an all time high!
It took me a long time to narrow my 200+ photos down to just a few to share with you!!! I create a little tent card place card for my two stamping friends to save out seats in the morning. These were super simple to create but so fabulous! I stamped the names in Wild Wasabi with the Sophisticated Serifs Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I love that alphabet set!!! Then I added a Calypso Coral Butterfly and Vellum Butterfly which were both die cut with the Butterfly Framelits!
That wreath in the upper corner was so beautiful!!! I must try that out myself. Also, the bottom left corner….swoon! I am beyond in love! Flowers, Purple, Pearls just make me melt! That little bouquet is amazing! I got so many ideas, techniques, and inspiration and I can’t wait to start planning my upcoming classes (and blog posts) to share with all of you!!! The other two photos are sneak peaks at my demonstration that I shared which was all about the One Sheet Wonder Technique!

The fabulous ladies in all of those pictures above are so special to me! Meg is my upline and I am so thankful to have meet her and joined Stampin’ Up! The other ladies are those in our group who are like a celebrity to me! These women rock and are so inspiring and motivating. I am on cloud nine after just a day with them and all the other ladies in the room. Imagine 100 stampers all together in one room…..so much creativity and FUN!
Of course the fun didn’t stop at Spring Into Stampin’! My husband and I had a wonderful dinner with friends and stayed up way to late having a good time together! It was a wonderful time and my heart is full! 🙂

April is a super fabulous month because there are lots of fabulous occasions this month and it’s SPRING!!!! Today marks my Stampin’ Up! Anniversary!!!! Eleven years ago today, I joined Stampin’ Up because I fell in love with the amazing products specifically Alphabet Stamp Sets for scrapbooking and that all of the items match! The inks, cardstock, ribbon, and embellishments are all the same color so you can actually use the scraps again with another project and everything matches! Now 11 years later, that is all still super important but I love the creative outlet, the people I have met, the opportunities I have had, places I have been to and soooooo much more!!!! I love it so much and I am so excited to have gone to that Stampin’ Up workshop back in college just so I could procrastinate on homework! 🙂
