3 Days Left!!!

Posted on

There are only 3 days left of Sale-A-Bration….including TODAY! Sunday, February 28th is the final day to enjoy free goodies with every $50 order. The other awesome thing is that so far none of the Sale-A-Bration items are sold out which is AMAZING!

3 Days Left to Earn the Touch of Ink Stamp Set for Free, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Here I created a fun Gate Fold Card using the Touch of Ink Stamp Set! This set is one of the $100 Level Sets that you can earn for Free with Sale-A-Bration! A Touch of Ink Stamp Set has been the most popular item redeemed so far!

I started with a Night of Navy card base (4-1/4″ x 11″) and scored it at 2-3/4″ from either end. This creates that gate fold! Then I cut out all of the layering pieces which are all the same size….the right panel, left panel, and focal point that overlaps! This makes cutting and measuring a breeze. The solid cardstock layer is 2-1/2″ x 4″. Then the Paper Blooms Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper (and Basic White for the center piece) measure 2-1/4″ x 3-3/4″.

Butterfly, Hummingbird, and Flower Stamped Images, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card uses the back side of the designer paper shown above and the butterfly from the Touch of Ink Stamp Set! Stamp, embellish and assemble! There are so many fun looks that you can create with this set! TIP: Be sure when adhering the focal point that you only add adhesive to the left hand side so you don’t seal your card closed! 🙂

Simple Stamping, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Next, on the inside of the cards, simply stamp the outline image of the same one that is on the front! Simple and fabulous! I love how you can mix and match the colors, designer paper, images, and greetings for an array of different cards! It makes it super versatile!

Don’t forget that you have 3 days (TODAY, Saturday, and Sunday) to shop and earn Sale-A-Bration Free Products!!! Now is the time to get something off your wish list or stock up on basics! Click here to start shopping or check out the supplies used on these cards below!

Berry Delightful

Posted on

It’s the last week of Sale-A-Bration and today I’m sharing with you a berry sweet card using the Berry Blessings Stamp Set and Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper. This is a $100 Level Sale-A-Bration item and you get both the stamps and paper! Woot Woot!

Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up, www.LaurasStampPad.com

The colors for this card are STUNNING! Just Jade and Night of Navy are so perfect together! I got the inspiration for this card from fellow stamper, Angie L!

I started with a Just Jade card base. Next, I used the Wrapped in Texture (oppps this one retired with the Holiday Mini Catalog) Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Just Jade (3-1/2″ x 4″). I actually used a few different embossing folders for different textured looks and they are all fabulous! Of course, the one I photographed for this post is a retired one! I’m sorry about that! 🙂 #PregnancyBrain

Next, I layered the embossed piece on the upper half of the card front and a piece of the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper (2″ x 4″) to the lower portion of the card. For the overlap of the 2 papers, I added a little 1/2″ strip of Night of Navy cardstock. This is a great way to use up scraps of cardstock.

Berry Blessings Stampin' Up Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the focal point, I die cut a Basic White Stitched Oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies. Before popping it out of the die, I ran the large stylus from the Take Your Pick Tool around the edge, just following the metal frame. This gave the oval a bit of pop which you can see in the upper left of the photo above! Just a little added fun and texture! Then using the Berry Blessings Stamp Set, I stamped the blueberries in Just Jade and Pacific Point Ink. I added this to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals! Finished off the front with a few Night of Navy Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Pack!

Sale-A-Bration Berry Collection Stampin' Up, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the inside of the card, I took a piece of Basic White (4″ x 5-1/4″) and stamped some blueberries near the bottom. For the solid background stamp of blueberries, I stamped off once for that lighter look! Then I took a piece of the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper and added it to the bottom. This is just the back side to what was used on the front! The greeting was stamped in Night of Navy!

There are still a few more days left of Sale-A-Bration where you can earn the Berry Blessing Bundle (stamps & paper) for FREE with a $100 order! Check out the supplies below if you would like to recreate this card!

This Is All You Need!

Posted on

Lately, it seems I have zero time. I know we all have 24 hours in a day and it’s how we decide to use it. It is totally not my decision to sit/sleep/rest as much as I am right now but I know my body needs it! This too shall pass! Until then, I need quick and simple card ideas!!! Ones that use minimal supplies are my favorite because then there is more time for creating and less time for picking up! 🙂 Check out these cute cards and all you need is stamps, ink, and paper!

All you need is stamps, ink, and paper, www.LaurasStampPad.com

How cute and simple are these little 3″ x 3″ cards!?!?!? I pulled out the Touch of Ink Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set, 3 ink pads (Basic Gray, Misty Moonlight, and Crushed Curry) and some cardstock (Basic White and Misty Moonlight). Technically, I guess adhesive and a Bone Folder were used as well but those are already out on my table anyway! 🙂

A Touch of Ink Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I really love this butterfly image because it’s so real looking. It’s not all perfect and symmetrical but rather a natural look. There are 2 images in the set. One of them is the outline which I did in full strength Crushed Curry Ink and then the solid background image to “fill in” which I stamped off once before stamping over the outline. You can see on the envelope I stamped just the outline and that alone is stunning!

Hummingbird Mini Card, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card I created the same way with Misty Moonlight and stamping off once for that solid background image. Notice that the solid background image still has spots of no color on the face and wing to really show off texture and dimension on the bird. It’s those fine details that make such a big difference!

Which card is your favorite?? Let me know in the comments below! Remember all you need is stamps, ink, and paper to create a stunning card! It’s that simple! The Touch of Ink Stamp Set is one of the $100 level stamp sets for Sale-A-Bration and it’s SOOOOO worth it. Stock up on inks and paper and maybe even a few embellishments to get this set for FREE. It’s amazing!

Simple Masculine Card!!!

Posted on

Claire woke up early the other morning and then went back to bed. Me and the little one jumping in my belly did not go back to bed. I started thinking of things and crafty ideas so I went downstairs to play! I needed simple masculine birthday cards because my stash is getting low! Here is what I created!

Simple Masculine Card, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I pulled out the Corner Bouquet Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set and thought it looked like the perfect background, sort of a grass or wheat look.

I started with a Mossy Meadow card base and then went with Sahara Sand as my neutral color. Since it is a light color, I used it for the inside of the card as well!! Next, I stamped the smaller corner image on opposing corners of the Sahara Sand 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of cardstock. I played around with various color options – Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy and Sahara Sand.

Corner Bouquet Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Using the same color as the card base is really pretty but even the tone on tone with Sahara Sand is fabulous too!!! For the greeting, I used the Label Me Lovely Punch for both the color and the Sahara Sand, simply trim off the top and bottom of the stamped one. I love getting a layered look with just 1 punch! Then for some texture on the card, I added loops of Linen Thread and even a small piece of Denim Ribbon behind the greeting. Check out how I create the loops in this video tutorial!

Greeting Card Inserts, www.LaurasStampPad.com

The greetings for the front of the card and inside are from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set! I just love the font in that set! I stamped the inside greeting the same as the card base. The leaf image is another one from the Corner Bouquet Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set. I had fun with the different looks and colors used with that leaf! Which is your favorite?? Let me know in the comments below!

If you would like to recreate this simple masculine card or even change the colors to make it more feminine, click on the supplies listed below! Don’t forget that Sale-A-Bration runs through the end of the month so you can earn this Bouquet Corner Stamp Set for FREE only a little while longer!

Oh So Ombre Dragonfly!!!

Posted on

So last week, I shared with you a fabulous Dragonfly card and said but wait there is more! Here is the the more!!! This Oh So Ombre Dragonfly is even better than the last one….or at least I think so. This one is my favorite!!! Let me know in the comments whether you prefer this one or the one linked above from last week!

Oh So Ombre Dragonfly, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card was super simple and uses the majority of the 6″ x 6″ Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper. It comes in the 4 colors – Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, Rococo Rose, and Granny Apple Green!

I started with the card base of each of the colors listed above. Then I cut a piece of Basic Black (4″ x 5-1/4″). This just makes the color POP even more! I love it! The designer paper is then just 1/8 smaller (3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″). I layered those together and tied some Whisper White Polka Dot Ribbon around it and then added it to the card front. This layer was actually added with Stampin’ Dimensionals. You all know how much I love them!

Stampin Up Dragonfly, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the focal point, I die cut out a black scallop square with the Layering Square Dies. The Basic White square is simply a 2″ square but I added some texture by running it through the Subtle Embossing Folder. It doesn’t show well in the photo because it is subtle but it’s the perfect amount of texture! This layer was added flat to the card front. The Dragonfly was stamped in the coordinating color to the Designer Paper and then punched out with the coordinating Dragonfly Punch! I added him to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals! 🙂 I couldn’t help myself! To finish it off, I colored some Basic Rhinestones with the coordinating Stampin’ Blends Marker and added a few!

6" x 6" Designer Paper Template, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Here you can see the 2 fun Dragonfly cards using 1 sheet of the 6″ x 6″ Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper that you can get for FREE with Sale-A-Bration!!! Click the supplies below to start creating these fun cards!!!

Dragonfly Garden!!!

Posted on

I wasn’t super drawn to the Dragonfly Garden Suite but I received it FREE with a Virtual Event that I attended with Stampin’ Up! Gotta love the free stuff and perks of being a demonstrator!!! So I got out the Dragonfly Garden Bundle (stamps & punch) to play and realized it’s really the Designer Paper I’m not a huge fan of right now. Pairing this bundle with the Oh So Ombre Sale-A-Bration Paper and I’M IN LOVE!!!! <3

Dragonfly Garden Bundle, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I think it was the bold colors that I was missing. Speaking of color, I never thought I would love these colors until I started playing with the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper – Granny Apple Green, Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, and Rococo Rose. There’s that Rococo Rose again that I’m loving right now!

For these cards, I started with a Basic Black card base and 2 pieces of Basic White (4″ x 5-1/4″). One of the pieces I stamped a greeting in the lower right corner for the front. The other piece is for the inside and I decorated that with another image from the stamp set and another designer paper square!

Oh So Ombre Sale-A-Bration Paper, www.LaurasStampPad.com

You can see that I used a strip of the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper measuring 1-1/2″ x 6″ which got me 4 little 1-1/2″ squares! I used 3 of them on the front and then I cut the 4th one diagonally for the inside. At first, I was going to use that 4th one for something else but then tried it out on the inside and FELL IN LOVE! It’s soooo cute on the inside as triangles.

Next, the fabulous focal point on the front is the Dragonfly from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink and then stamped the “fuzzy background” image in Bermuda Bay (or the coordinating color for that card). NOTE: The fuzzy background image is not meant to line up perfectly but to just give a touch of color to the image so just stamp and go. No need to find the perfect way to line it up! The dragonfly is added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then I added a few Rhinestones. I actually colored the Rhinestones with Stampin’ Blends to get a matching color! How cool is that?!?!?

If you want to recreate this card, check out the supplies listed below! Also, come back on Tuesday to see another fabulous card using the rest of the 6″ x 6″ piece of Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper!!!!

I love Birthdays! Everyone has one and it’s the perfect time to celebrate OURSELVES! It’s our day! So do exactly what you want and enjoy it to the fullest. Heck, sometimes I even like to call it my birthday month! It’s not my birthday month but I do have a fabulous birthday card to share with you today! I think it’s total perfection!

I just love this birthday greeting from the Sale-A-Bration Approaching Perfection Stamp Set! That set has lots of fun birthday greetings in it AND you can get it for FREE with a $50 order! Woot Woot!

This fun card is a Z fold card. I started with a Bermuda Bay card base. Fold it in half like a normal card and then fold the front panel back in half! It’s as easy as that. Then I added some Flower & Field Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper to the front panel. This piece measures 5-3/8″ x 2-1/8″.

Approaching Perfection Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the greeting, I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies in Whisper White and Bumblebee. When I did the greeting with regular dies, it just didn’t pop. Then I did the stitching and it just POPPED! It’s crazy how such a little texture gives such a big look! The greeting was stamped in Bermuda Bay on the front and inside! Be sure when adding the rectangle greeting to the card front that you only put adhesive on the left hand side otherwise you will seal your card closed! Then I finished it off with a few Black

Try Out Double Stamping!

Posted on

You all know how much I love flowers so the more the better, right?!? Check out this fun double stamping technique to have more flowers on your card!!!

Double Stamping, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I started with a Pretty Peacock card base and layered on another piece that was embossed with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder. This adds subtle texture to the card. Next, I took a piece of Whisper White measuring 3″ x 3-1/2″. This is the piece I am going to double stamp on with the Tags In Bloom Stamp Set! Be sure to stamp with the label centered and the flowers in the upper left corner. Then flip the piece around and line up the label to stamp again for flowers on the other side. Photopolymer stamps makes this super easy!

I colored in the flowers with Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends! Then for the greeting, I used the stamps from the Tags In Bloom Set and punched it out with the coordinating Label Me Lovely Punch. I added it to the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals for a fabulous layered look! Next, I layered it onto some Daffodil Delight and added it to the card front. I went for an off set look just to go with someone different!

Tags In Bloom, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the inside of the card, I added some flowers and another greeting from the Tags In Bloom Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set. Don’t forget that Sale-A-Bration ends on March 31st! This set is super fun and fabulous so I highly recommend it!!! 🙂
