Stop and smell the flowers!!! Let’s go strolling down garden lane!!! Okay actually there are no flowers in this designer paper but I think it will be perfect for floral cards!!! These shades of green are perfect backgrounds for any style of card – masculine or feminine!
Look at all of these fabulous shades and prints. I think these would make great masculine cards. They will also make great background patterns for all my flowers cards. You all know how much I love flowers on my cards!! I just can’t get enough!

Last week I shared some fabulous cards using the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper. Check that out here! Today, I’m sharing more gingham fun! Let me know in the comments which set your favorite is!
These cards were created using Grapefruit Grove card bases. Next, I too Whisper White (4″ x 5-1/4″) and added a piece of the gingham to the left side measuring 2″ x 4″. The other card uses a piece measuring 5-1/2″ x 2″. The inside uses the leftover pieces. For the triangles, I was left with a 2″ square which I just cut corner to corner. The greetings were stamped from the Well Said Stamp Set! I used the same greetings for both but flip flopped them from one card to the next with which one is on the outside.
For 1 of the blue cards and 1 of the yellow cards, I decided to switch it up! I just love blue and yellow together! I used 1″ x 4″ strips and stamped the greeting in between. Using the Butterfly Gala Punch, I punched out 2 Balmy Blue and 2 Daffodil Delight. I added 2 to the front and used the other 2 for the inside decoration! The baby card used the Rectangle Stitched Shapes for all the pieces. The stitched frame is super cute and then I used the inside rectangle for the inside of the card. Adorable!! This style would work for the other colors of gingham too.
For the Daffodil Delight cards, I used one set of the blue! Simple squares for a quick and easy card. The ribbon was colored with the Stampin’ Blends Markers! I recommend maybe using the light marker as it seems the dark marker was a bit too dark. That is all personal preference though! For the top card, I used the Banner Triple Punch and Layering Circles Framelits!!! The Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins made for the perfect finishing touch!
I had so much fun creating all 10 of these cards using the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper!!! Tons of all occasion cards to have on hand. The Well Said Stamp Set was the perfect set for inside and outside greetings! I love it! Click the supplies below to make some of your own! So much more gingham fun!!!
There are only a few days left to shop the Retiring Products. On June 3rd at midnight, they will be gone in preparation of the New 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up Catalog coming on June 4th!
The best way to see everything that is retiring and still available is to look here! This is the most current list of available products. It also has a photo with the item number and name for a better idea of what the product is.
Some of my favorites that are retiring are Lovely As A Tree which has been a stamp set since before I started. You can check out some samples using this set here and here! The Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper stack has been super popular and I love it too!!! I have created so many cards using it which you can check out here! Another item that I am sad to see go but plan on keeping in my craft room is the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch! I do love my Layering Circles Framelits and the storage for them is smaller than a whole bunch of punches. I like the punches for the ease of just grabbing, punching, and creating though! Any one else agree??? So get these goodies before they are gone. There are only a few days left!
A few notes about the New Catalog coming on June 4th! Ordering will not be available till Noon as Stampin’ Up changes up the website to bring in the new products! All orders of $40 or more will earn Laura’s Loyal Stampers Stickers. Also, orders of $75 or more will earn my Free Stamp Set of the Month! Woot Woot!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I will see you back here on Monday!!! Happy Stampin’
Are you singing the song?? Come Sail Away, Come Sail Away, Come Sail Away with me!!! No? Just me? Let me know in the comments if you were singing along with me! Today, I’m sharing the Come Sail Away Designer Paper!!!
This paper scream masculine to me! I struggle with man cards too so I am hoping this inspires me. I’m always looking for great ideas to create some fabulous man cards! It is super nautical themed and I will admit that’s not really my thing. Living here in Illinois, I just don’t feel like it fits since we are miles from the beach and sail boats. BUT there are lots of great patterns that aren’t so nautical in this set too so I still love this paper pack! There is a whole suite of products to coordinate with this as well!!!
Did you see the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper that was posted on Tuesday??? Click here to check that out! You can also check out others I posted last week here and here!

You get teary eyed at Graduations?? I always do because it is such a milestone in these graduates lives. They have accomplished so much and there is still so much for them to learn and experience. It is exciting and scary all at the same time. I think this card is perfect for Graduation – You are Unstoppable!!
It shows the graduate that they are amazing and can do anything they set their mind to. It also shows your love and support. The inside of the card says, “Keep reaching for your dreams, I will keep cheering you on.” I love it!!!
I started with a Flirty Flamingo card base measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″. Next, I added a piece of the All My Love Designer Series Paper measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″. This paper is retiring soon but still available. Get it before it is gone! I added some Whisper White Polka Dot Ribbon along the crease/left hand side. It is just tied into a double knot. It doesn’t stand out a ton but adds a little texture. You could always go with a Lovely Lipstick Ribbon to make it really pop!
For the greeting, I used the Layering Squares Framelits for that fun scalloped edge. The scallop square is Soft Sea Foam and the smooth square is Whisper White. The greeting was stamped in Lovely Lipstick from the Strong & Beautiful Stamp Set!!! The inside of the card has the coordinating greeting stamped on Whisper White!
This card style works for a lot of different occasions. The greeting, You Are Unstoppable, works for more than just Graduation too! Change up the greeting for whatever you need! Also, you can create 6 cards like this from 1 sheet of 12″ x 12″ Designer Paper! Woot Woot! Click the supply list below so you can create this card! I can’t believe it!!! My Baby is One!!! Little Ziggy has been in our arms for 1 year! It’s crazy! Do you all remember when we called her Ziggy and thought we might forever call her that because it was stuck in our heads? Now it sounds weird to say Ziggy! We had a fabulous Birthday Party over the weekend with theme One In A Melon!
These were actually created with an old Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set. You can check it out here! Paper Pumpkin is super fabulous for having random words and images for using on lots of different projects!
The card base is Real Red. I really went back and forth on whether to use a shade of pink or red. I went with red because I knew I could find that color in paper products, etc. for the party! Next, I stamped the Buffalo Check in Basic Black onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock. I used the Stamparatus for this to get the perfect look and re-stamp it if I missed a spot with the ink. For the watermelon, I fussy cut them out after stamping them! Then I added 1 flat and 1 with Stampin’ Dimensionals! The greeting was stamped from another Paper Pumpkin Kit onto a Rectangle Stitched Shape with a little Call Me Clover bow in the corner!
As I type this on Claire’s birthday eve and look through all these photos, my heart is full and my eyes a bit wet! I have been a bit emotional this weekend just reflecting back on a year ago. Having my water break, being in labor for 33 hours, and having a baby via c-section on Memorial Day! Seeing this beautiful baby girl in my arms and how much she has grown and learned in just 1 year! My mind is blown and my heart is full! I just love her so much and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next!
I hope you all have a wonderful day and we will be back to New Catalog preparation tomorrow! For now, I’m off to celebrate because my baby is one!
Gingham is soooo IN right now! I did an entire class on Gingham using the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper! The class consisted of 2 cards for each of the 5 colors. I am going to share some today and the rest later in the week! Bring on the Gingham!!!
These samples were done in Highland Heather!!! I used Gorgeous Grape and Whisper White cardstock as well!!!
Starting with the card on the left, I went with a Highland Heather card base. Next, I took a 2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper for the left hand side. Before adding it to the card front, I added a small strip of Gorgeous Grape to the left side for a little pop of color! This is also a great way to use you scraps! For the greeting, I stamped it on a scrap piece of Whisper White from the Well Said Stamp Set! It has the perfect inside/outside greetings! I layered the greeting onto a Pearlized Doily which is layered over a 2-1/4″ Circle Punch of Gorgeous Grape! I finished it off with some Gingham Gala Sequins!
For the card on the right side, I used a Highland Heather card base too! Next, I took a piece of Gorgeous Grape (4″ x 5-1/4″) and layered on a 3-3/4″ square of gingham paper! Then I took some Whisper White Woven Thread and tied it around the cardstock where the gingham paper ends. This helps to give a smooth transition from one paper to another. For the greeting, I used the 1-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch and 1-1/4″ Circle Punch. Again I used the Well Said Stamp Set for the greeting!!
The insides of the cards have the coordinating greetings and some of the leftover gingham pieces used as decoration! No designer paper waste here!!
For the Lemon Lime Twist Cards, I used all the Tailored Tag Punch!!! For the card on the left, I placed the greeting down first with Stampin’ Dimensionals. This makes it pop more! Then I just added in all around till it was covered. Then I trimmed off the ones that were hanging off the paper!
The card on the right was created using a piece of Lemon Lime Twist gingham measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″. I layered the greeting with 2 of the tags just off set a bit. Using the Silver Baker’s Twine, I added some loops and secured it to the back of the greeting!
Again for the insides of the cards, I used leftover pieces of the designer paper!!!
If you want to create these cards, check out the supplies listed below! Also, stay tuned for the other 3 colors in the pack! I will be posting those later this week! Bring on the Gingham! Also, check out these designer paper tips!

Father’s Day is around the corner and this card would be perfect!!! It also makes a great birthday card too!!!
This is a fun and simple card that could be done in various color combinations! I did use one of the retiring color – Lemon Lime Twist!!
I started with a Lemon Lime Twist card base measuring 11″ x 4-1/4″. Next, I took a piece of Whisper White (3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″) and adhered it down the center. Using a piece of the Graceful Glass Designer Vellum, I sponged Blueberry Bushel Ink onto the back for some color. Be sure to allow it to dry a bit or you can use the Heat Tool to set the ink. Once it was ready, I adhered it to the left side!
For the focal point, I stamped the car and greeting onto a Whisper White rectangle measuring 3-1/4″ x 2-1/4″. These were stamped in Blueberry Bushel Ink. They are from the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set!! Next, I layered them onto a piece of Lemon Lime Twist measuring 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″. This layer was added to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals for some texture!!!
Click the supplies listed below to make this You’re A Classic card!!! Some of these items are retiring so get them before they are gone! What color combinations would you use?
