Laura’s Quick Kits – Perennial Flowers!!!

Happy Friday!!!! I’m excited to bring you another one of Laura’s Quick Kits! This one is called Laura’s Quick Kits – Perennial Flowers because it uses the Floral Essence Stamp Set from the Perennial Essence Suite!!! You should have known a flower kit was coming soon as I just love them so much!

What Are Laura’s Quick Kits? This kit comes with all of the pre-cut cardstock and embellishments to create the 3 cards shown above. The kit includes supplies for 6 total cards (2 each of the 3 designs). Envelopes are included! Also, everyone who purchases the kit will get access to a Private Quick Kits Video that shares the details for creating these cards! So it is like attending one of my classes but in the comfort of your home.

What supplies will I need for this kit? The stamp set used was the Floral Essence Stamp Set for both the flowers and the greeting. You could always use a different greeting if you wish or leave off the greeting for a card for any occasion! Next, you will need the following ink colors: Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile, and Rococo Rose for the flowers. The centers are So Saffron and the leaves are Mossy Meadow. You could always use another color of yellow or green if you prefer like Old Olive or Garden Green. Daffodil Delight or Crushed Curry would work for the center of the flowers.

To The Women Who Does It All!!!

This is the card I gave to my Mom for Mother’s Day!!! The greeting is perfect!! As women we tend to do it all, multi-tasking at it’s finest!!! This beautiful card is the perfect way to celebrate and acknowledge that.

This beautiful card uses the retiring Floral Romance Designer Series Paper. This card is also one of the cards in my latest Laura’s Quick Kits!!! You can put any greeting on this card for any occasion!

I started with a piece of Mossy Meadow as the card base. Next, I took a piece of Whisper White (3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″) and adhered it to the front. This is just a hair smaller than the Floral Romance Vellum which is 4″ x 5-1/4″. I did this so that it wouldn’t match up perfectly but instead have that gradual fade on the edges. You can also put the adhesive on the vellum anywhere because it doesn’t show through. This was a game changer for me! In the past when I used vellum, it was a pain to try to hide the adhesive behind your focal point or something. Not with this paper!!!

For the decoration, I punched out a 2″ Circle in Crumb Cake and ran it through the Big Shot in the Basket Weave Embossing Folder. I love this little big of texture behind those flowers. The flowers were punched out using the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack. When assembling, I placed the circle down first and then the greeting. This was stamped from the Strong & Beautiful Stamp Set and punched out with the Triple Banner Punch! Next, I gathered the little flowers over that straight edge of the greeting. The pink flowers are on Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaves are from the Leaf Punch!

On the inside, I added a layer of Whisper White (4″ x 5-1/4″) and stamped the greeting from the Strong & Beautiful Stamp Set. Then I added a few more punched flowers on the corners! It is just so beautiful and was the perfect card for my Mom!!!

I’m so excited to have another one of Laura’s Quick Kits to roll out! This one is Laura’s Quick Kits – Floral Romance because it uses the Floral Romance Designer Series Paper!

This fabulous kit has that beautiful floral look but the green card on the left can be a masculine card too! The awesome thing about this kit is that everything comes in the kit and you just need to stamp the greeting! Any greeting stamp set would work perfectly. I used the Strong & Beautiful Stamp Set! Fresh Fig is the ink color I used. Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow, and Pear Pizzazz can also be used as they are in the designer paper and details!

Celebrating Happiness!!!

Today, we shall be celebrating happiness! It is Wednesday after all and the week is half over. That is not all though, there are so many things to celebrate that make us happy! Remember all the good things in life and don’t dwell on the things we can’t change or the tough things you are going through. Celebrate Happiness!!!

I am loving this card and not just because it has a flower on it. I love the bright colors and all of the textures!! This card also uses the Free Stamp Set of the Month for March – Bloom By Bloom!!! I started with a Lovely Lipstick card base and stamped the flower from the Bloom By Bloom Stamp Set all over. Using Lovely Lipstick Ink, it gives a nice watermark or tone on tone look. Be sure to fall off the cardstock so the pattern looks continuous. Next, I took a piece of the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper (2″ x 4″) and punched it with the Banner Triple Punch. I added it to the card front flush with the left side.

Next, I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the flower on it. Be sure to stamp the flower first and then the stem. This will ensure that the stem isn’t too high or too far over for the bloom to fit. The bloom was stamped in Lovely Lipstick and the stem in Call Me Clover. I added the greeting in the lower right corner from the Well Said Stamp Set. It was stamped in Night of Navy.

I love the Well Said Stamp Set because it has perfect inside and outside greetings! I added a message on the inside as well as a little flower!

Back to the front focal point! After stamping, I layered this onto another piece of the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper. Taking a piece of the Calypso Coral Satin Ribbon folded in half, I laid it across the banner on the card front. The Stampin’ Dimensionals on the stamped flower layer secure this ribbon loop in place just perfectly!! To finish off the card, I added some Enamel Shapes to the flower for texture! Just perfect!
