It’s a new month so that means new specials!!! Let’s start with the February 2021 Free Stamp Set of the Month……drum roll……..
Of course I had to make it all red and cute for Valentine’s Day month! You all know how much I love flowers and that “fan” image looks sooooo cool! The scrolly font is just icing on the cupcake!
All orders of $75 or more (before shipping and tax) will earn this set for FREE from me! This is an exclusive offer that I run as a way to spoil my customers! Also, don’t forget if you got the Rhinestone Coupon in the mail in December, you will also get those for Free with your first 2021 order!!! I sent out more than 30 Rhinestones just in the month of January!!! So much bling spread all around!
This card was super simple and uses the majority of the 6″ x 6″ Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper. It comes in the 4 colors – Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, Rococo Rose, and Granny Apple Green!
I started with the card base of each of the colors listed above. Then I cut a piece of Basic Black (4″ x 5-1/4″). This just makes the color POP even more! I love it! The designer paper is then just 1/8 smaller (3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″). I layered those together and tied some Whisper White Polka Dot Ribbon around it and then added it to the card front. This layer was actually added with Stampin’ Dimensionals. You all know how much I love them!
For the focal point, I die cut out a black scallop square with the Layering Square Dies. The Basic White square is simply a 2″ square but I added some texture by running it through the Subtle Embossing Folder. It doesn’t show well in the photo because it is subtle but it’s the perfect amount of texture! This layer was added flat to the card front. The Dragonfly was stamped in the coordinating color to the Designer Paper and then punched out with the coordinating Dragonfly Punch! I added him to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals! 🙂 I couldn’t help myself! To finish it off, I colored some Basic Rhinestones with the coordinating Stampin’ Blends Marker and added a few!
Here you can see the 2 fun Dragonfly cards using 1 sheet of the 6″ x 6″ Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper that you can get for FREE with Sale-A-Bration!!! Click the supplies below to start creating these fun cards!!!
I wasn’t super drawn to the Dragonfly Garden Suite but I received it FREE with a Virtual Event that I attended with Stampin’ Up! Gotta love the free stuff and perks of being a demonstrator!!! So I got out the Dragonfly Garden Bundle (stamps & punch) to play and realized it’s really the Designer Paper I’m not a huge fan of right now. Pairing this bundle with the Oh So Ombre Sale-A-Bration Paper and I’M IN LOVE!!!! <3
I think it was the bold colors that I was missing. Speaking of color, I never thought I would love these colors until I started playing with the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper – Granny Apple Green, Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, and Rococo Rose. There’s that Rococo Rose again that I’m loving right now!
For these cards, I started with a Basic Black card base and 2 pieces of Basic White (4″ x 5-1/4″). One of the pieces I stamped a greeting in the lower right corner for the front. The other piece is for the inside and I decorated that with another image from the stamp set and another designer paper square!
You can see that I used a strip of the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper measuring 1-1/2″ x 6″ which got me 4 little 1-1/2″ squares! I used 3 of them on the front and then I cut the 4th one diagonally for the inside. At first, I was going to use that 4th one for something else but then tried it out on the inside and FELL IN LOVE! It’s soooo cute on the inside as triangles.
Next, the fabulous focal point on the front is the Dragonfly from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink and then stamped the “fuzzy background” image in Bermuda Bay (or the coordinating color for that card). NOTE: The fuzzy background image is not meant to line up perfectly but to just give a touch of color to the image so just stamp and go. No need to find the perfect way to line it up! The dragonfly is added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then I added a few Rhinestones. I actually colored the Rhinestones with Stampin’ Blends to get a matching color! How cool is that?!?!?
If you want to recreate this card, check out the supplies listed below! Also, come back on Tuesday to see another fabulous card using the rest of the 6″ x 6″ piece of Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper!!!!
The January 2021 Paper Pumpkin was different this year and I think I love it!!! Normally the January Kit is Valentine’s Day treat box/bags which I do love because then I have goodies for my nieces and nephews. I do know that many of my customers don’t always care for the treat bags/boxes though. This year Stampin’ Up! created a regular Valentine’s/Love kit with cards but then offered a Little Love Add-On Kit that coordinated and contains treat boxes! PERFECT!!!!
Okay so that little mailbox is THE cutest thing ever! I just love it for #happymail cards. By the way, I’m behind on sending those and really need to send more out like NOW! The other card I will be using more for Valentine’s Day cards!
I wasn’t so sure I liked the look of tying a bow and putting the greeting over it (right side) so I tried the loops. Nope, that looks too messy in my opinion so I went back to the bow look like the instructions say! Also, that little enamel heart on the envelope is just the CUTEST!
For these cards, the instructions showed the bow on the right but it’s sideways and so I did just a knot on the rest of mine. Plus I know you all prefer to make knots than bows. Let me know in the comments below whether you prefer the knot or the bow!!!
I’ll be sure to share the Valentine’s Treat Boxes I’m making with the Little Love Add On Kit once they are complete! If you would like to get these little treat boxes to coordinate with your Paper Pumpkin Kit, click the image below!

One Sheet Wonders are so much fun because they use ALL of one sheet of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (or 6″ x 6″). I like to stick to minimal products as well to really just enjoy the card making part and not the big mess part! 🙂 This Floral One Sheet Wonder is my current favorite!!!
I used the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper which is just stunning! The back side of the floral paper is that fun mosaic yellow print which I used on 2 cards. It was just so hard to not use the floral side. Then I looked at the paper pack at the coordinating colors and picked my favorite – Night of Navy, Petal Pink, and Merry Merlot. I went with Basic White even though there is also some Very Vanilla in the pattern too.
First, I started off by cutting my card bases in each of the 3 colors (4 bases). This makes 12 cards! Then I cut my designer series paper and just started layering and mixing and matching! For the greetings, I stamped the Many Messages greeting in Merry Merlot and Night of Navy and die cut them with the coordinating die. BOOM! 19 greetings in each color! It was so quick and simple. AMAZING! Then as I was creating the cards, I just grabbed a greeting and popped it on. Another option would be to package the cards and greetings together and attach as you need the cards.
This Floral One Sheet Wonder set made quick and simple cards for all of my upcoming occasions! This is also a great gift to wrap all of these cards up together and offer! Have you ever tried out a One Sheet Wonder?? Let me know in the comments below! I love Birthdays! Everyone has one and it’s the perfect time to celebrate OURSELVES! It’s our day! So do exactly what you want and enjoy it to the fullest. Heck, sometimes I even like to call it my birthday month! It’s not my birthday month but I do have a fabulous birthday card to share with you today! I think it’s total perfection!
I just love this birthday greeting from the Sale-A-Bration Approaching Perfection Stamp Set! That set has lots of fun birthday greetings in it AND you can get it for FREE with a $50 order! Woot Woot!
This fun card is a Z fold card. I started with a Bermuda Bay card base. Fold it in half like a normal card and then fold the front panel back in half! It’s as easy as that. Then I added some Flower & Field Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper to the front panel. This piece measures 5-3/8″ x 2-1/8″.
For the greeting, I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies in Whisper White and Bumblebee. When I did the greeting with regular dies, it just didn’t pop. Then I did the stitching and it just POPPED! It’s crazy how such a little texture gives such a big look! The greeting was stamped in Bermuda Bay on the front and inside! Be sure when adding the rectangle greeting to the card front that you only put adhesive on the left hand side otherwise you will seal your card closed! Then I finished it off with a few Black
If you would like to create this Total Perfection card, check out the supplies below! Remember that you can select the Approaching Perfection Stamp Set and Flower & Field as FREE Sale-A-Bration items for every $50 you spend!
Valentine’s Day is around the corner so I want to share this sample to inspire you!!! This card is perfect for Valentine’s Day, Anniversaries, and just any old day to spread the love!
I love this card because it’s so fabulous it doesn’t even need a greeting on the front which makes it even more versatile! Perfect!!!
I started with a regular Whisper White card base and folded it in half. Then I cut 3/4″ off the front flap to reveal the inside of the card. Then I stamped the row of hearts from the Lots of Hearts Stamp Set along the edge in Rococo Rose Ink! I also stamped a greeting on the inside in Rococo Rose Ink!
For the front of the card, I added a piece of Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper (5-1/4″ x 3-1/4″) on the front flap! Then for the heart, I stamped it in Rococo Rose onto Blushing Bride and layered it onto Rococo Rose! Next, I added a little loop of the Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon and secured it with Stampin’ Dimensionals! I actually used the underside of the ribbon rather than the super metallic side! It’s softer and perfect!
What occasion would you use this card for? Let me know in the comments below! Either way, don’t forget to spread the love to those who mean the world to you! If you want to recreate this card, check out the supplies listed below! You can even click ADD ALL TO CART for easy shopping! Don’t forget about Sale-A-Bration too!
I love these cards because they are cute and perfect for what I need right now. I went with a few for kid’s birthday cards in my stash as well as a few generic so I can send as random #happymail. It’s always fun to send a card just because and that teddy bear is adorable!!!
It’s super cute that these cards have die cuts (bears and koalas) which have pop outs to tuck the item they are holding in. It really makes it look like they are holding it and gives it depth! PRECIOUS! I love the December 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit!
The January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit is love and heart themed but will be all full sized cards! If you would like treat boxes though, you can purchase this little add on kit for just $8.00 with 20 boxes and tags to create with! To sign up for the actual January Paper Pumpkin Kit, click here!
