Expressions In Color Kit!!!

Posted on

The June 2021 Paper Pumpkin arrived and I was super excited because the box was splattered with pinks and purples! The Expressions In Color Kit included 2 ink spots – Evening Evergreen & Bumblebee which super surprised me. Also, I can’t say this was my favorite kit. Although nothing compares to the April Kit right now! That one was AMAZING!

Expressions In Color Paper Pumpkin Kit June 2021, www.LaurasStampPad.com

My favorite card of all of these is actually the yellow one in the upper left hand corner! I just love how that “greenery” is so foofy and jumps off the card making it look so fabulous! The greeting “sending hugs” warms my heart too!

In all of my crafting, I’ve never really loved vellum. There are times I like it and think I should use it more and then there are times I’m just like….it’s not my thing. Today, it’s not my thing. I feel like the vellum on the green and purple cards isn’t bold and bright enough for me. You know me and my love for bold images and how I break crayons because I press too hard. Welp, this vellum just doesn’t do it for me. What about you? Do you love vellum?

Still a fun kit and cards added to my collection! Can’t wait to see what the July Kit is going to be. Click here to join the Paper Pumpkin fun and get signed up!

A new month means a NEW Free Stamp Set of the Month! The July 2021 Free Stamp Set of the Month is……drum roll…….TURTLE FRIENDS!!!

Stampin' Up! Turtle Friends Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I think this set us so super cute! Claire came home from school the last day and had this adorable turtle paper that she colored and it says, “I turtley love you, Dad!” as a Father’s Day goodie. It was so super cute for her school to do that in advance knowing the kids are out of school in June. (heart melting) Then I saw this stamp set and the greetings and just had to have it! There is a coordinating punch that goes with it too!

All orders of $75 or more (before shipping and tax) will earn this set for FREE from me! This is an exclusive offer that I run as a way to spoil my customers! Also, don’t forget about Laura’s Loyal Stampers Stickers too!!!! Click here to start shopping!

So Sweet Of You!!!

Posted on

I am always in need of Thank You cards because I am a firm believer in sending them out for every gift we receive. Lately with Alex being born, his baptism and Claire’s birthday, I’ve been sending out a ton. I also send them out each month to everyone who orders from me that month! This strawberry card is perfect and I love the coordinating inside greeting – So Sweet Of You!!!

Sweet Strawberry Stampin' Up Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card I created uses Poppy Parade and Whisper White cardstock. The Poppy Parade card base measures 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and the 2 pieces of Whisper White are 4″ x 5-1/4″. One of the pieces of white is for the front and one for the inside of the card!

Using the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set, I stamped 2 of the leaves and flowers in Memento Black Ink and colored them with Stampin’ Blends. I used Daffodil Delight for the flower centers and Granny Apple Green for the leaves. You can stamp these images as close together or far apart as you wish. It all depends on your greeting panel in the center or preference on how much of the white you want covered!

Next, I stamped some strawberries onto Whisper White in Poppy Parade Ink. The outline image was stamped full strength ink and the solid background stamp was stamped off once (or twice if you want an even lighter look or a variation in color)! Using the coordinating punch, I punched them out! Then I took Granny Apple Green cardstock and stamped some leaves in Granny Apple Green. I used 2 leaves on the front and 2 leaves on the inside of the card!

For the greeting, I just used some scraps of Whisper White and Basic Black cardstock to stamp the greeting. The Thank You greeting is thinner but the Happy Birthday greeting is wider. I love how you can easily adjust this piece of cardstock to create either card. When I went to assemble, I added the strawberries first and held the greeting over the top to help with placement. The strawberries and greeting all have Stampin’ Dimensionals!

So Sweet of You, Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

On the inside I used the greeting That Was So Sweet Of You and I love it! I also stamped the strawberries onto the cardstock but added punched out leaves. This was a bit of an accident to have my strawberries “standing up” or upside down or however you want to see that. Apparently I kept thinking of a pear. I did actually stamp another card with them the other way and it really looks just the same so I think I like this mistake one better! See no mistake in stamping is bad, just an alternative! 🙂

Beauty of Friendship!!!

Posted on

I really struggle with masculine cards but I have found that the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set has so amazing images for man cards! What about you??? Do you struggle with man cards? Let me know in the comments below!

Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set Stampin' Up!, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I used the Note Cards and Envelopes for these cards which makes them even more quick and easy! First, I stamped the more solid tree image from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set in Soft Succulent. I stamped this one first because I didn’t want to stamp the trunk and then realize I went to high on the card and the tree doesn’t fit. Next, I stamped the second detailed tree image in Evening Evergreen. Add the trunk and greeting in Early Espresso and boom you are all done stamping! How easy is that?!?!?

My original card used the Early Espresso Faux Suede Ribbon (far left) but then I ran out. Then, I went with some Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon and really liked that look but thought it looked a smidge more elegant. Since I struggle with man cards, I decided to make multiples for my stash and even tried out the Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon. When I did a poll the Evening Evergreen was the winner by far. Which is your favorite??

Here For You Now…

You all know how much I love flowers, scrolly fonts, and ribbon as my go-to embellishment!!! Check out this card that just screams LAURA!!!! The greeting – Here For You Now And In Better Days Ahead is just amazing too!!!

Here For You Now, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I created this card with the NEW Hand Penned Designer Series Paper measuring 3″ x 3-3/4″ which is a perfect size to use up an entire sheet of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper! BONUS! I layered it onto Misty Moonlight and a Pale Papaya card base! This color combination is just fabulous!!!

The stamp set I used is the Color & Contour Stamp Set which has this fabulous greeting, flower, and those fun little dots that I used in the corner. I thought it added a little extra fun rather than just have solid cardstock! The greeting was stamped on a die cut which is in the Color & Contour Bundle – Scalloped Contour Dies. These are AMAZING!!!! Such fun scallop edged images with so much fun texture and look! MUST HAVE!

Color & Contour Stampin' Up Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

On the inside of the card, I stamped a flower and the coordinating greeting. It really pulls the card together I think. You could also stamp the flower onto the envelope too.

Hand Penned Designer Series Paper Stampin' Up, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Here I created 2 more cards using different prints from the same Hand Penned Designer Series Paper Pack. Because the colors were a bit different, I went with Pale Papaya and Pool Party! Which color combination is your favorite – Misty Moonlight or Pool Party??? Let me know in the comment below! I love how you can use different patterns in the same pack for a fabulous card in the same style!

If you would like to recreate this “Here For You Now” card, check out the supplies listed below! You can purchase them individually or click Add All To Cart for quick and easy shopping!!!

May 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit!!!

Posted on

Finally I’m back on my routine…..a bit! I never got a chance to complete the March and April Paper Pumpkin kits and post them. Stay tuned as I hope to get them completed soon because I need cards! The month the May 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit arrived and I opened it and assembled it all in one sitting! You can check out the video of that here!

May 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit, www.LaurasStampPad.com

The Kit contained supplies for 9 cards – 3 each of 3 designs and this one is my favorite. I love pinstripe baseball pants. There is just something about them that makes them so cute! So I made one for Brad for Father’s Day since it’s my favorite. The other 2 will probably be used as birthday cards for some of my baseball fan family members!

Baseball Greeting Cards, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This set was super simple and fun! I did one with Dad on it and one of the 3rd set with Dad on it so Brad and I can use them for our Dad’s on Father’s Day! As for the other 2, probably more birthday cards for boys! Not that a girl couldn’t get one of these cards but I struggle with masculine cards so I need all the ones I can get. Thank you Paper Pumpkin!

These are super cute and probably my 2nd favorite! I have 1 Brother so I plan to use this card for his Father’s Day card! It’s perfect and fun! The little red and yellow dots really make these cards pop more and give great texture! I love it!

June Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Be sure to sign up for the June Paper Pumpkin Kit which includes not one but TWO ink spots! Woot Woot! Also, these beautiful colors are enough to make my heart jump! Paper Pumpkin is a great activity to do with the kids this summer too! Sign up and try it out for a month or more! Click here to get your June fun!!!

Aloha…from our home!!!

Posted on

Last week was Stampin’ Up’s incentive trip for the past 2 years to Maui!!! While I earned both trips, we decided to cash out the trip rather than attend in person because of Covid and having a baby! Stampin’ Up! as well as my upline spoiled us all week with Hawaiian fun! It was amazing! Here is a little Aloha…from our home rather than from Maui!

Aloha Stampin' Up Incentive Trip, www.LaurasStampPad.com

It is so exciting and amazing to be in the Top 1% of the company and earn trips! I feel so proud of myself for what I have accomplished but I also am just so thankful for all of you!!! There is no way I could have done it without all of you and for that – THANK YOU!!! I appreciate all of you for your support and love. It truly means the world to me and my family!!

I am also very thankful for my amazing upline who spoiled us with towels, flamingos, and Hawaiian fun so we could celebrate at home. It wasn’t quite the same as being in Maui in person I don’t think but it was amazing. Right now family is my top priority and leaving the kids back wasn’t an option we wanted to take. Taking them on a 12 hour flight was also an option we didn’t want to take! It was wonderful to get spoiled still while staying home with the kids! Stampin’ Up sent a box of Aloha last week as a little taste of fun! They are also sending another box of goodies that should be arriving in a few weeks. Stay tuned as I will be doing an unboxing of those goodies on my Facebook Page – Laura’s Stamp Pad!!

Again, thank you all for your love and support and here’s to many more days, weeks, and months of stamping fun!!! Aloha…from our home and happy stampin’

Baby Aaha is Here!!!

Posted on

Okay so he has been here for 8 weeks now….WOW! I know I can’t believe that either! I have been feeling soooooo much better for 8 weeks now. I was so huge and so uncomfortable the last few months I was pregnant. After begging my Doctor to just take Baby Aaha out NOW, he came 2 days prior to our original plan! I took in chocolate chip cookies as a thank you for granting my wishes! LOL

Baby Aaha is here, www.laurasstamppad.com

Baby Aaha became Alex on St. Patrick’s Day!!! He was born weighing 9 pounds, 5 ounces!!!! BIG BOY!!! Although I still find him to be my tiny little ball of squish!!! I just can’t help kissing him all over and I will continue until he won’t let me anymore! 🙂 I did have another C-section and all went well. We came home and were so excited to see Claire and she is in love with Alex from the moment she saw him. She calls him her baby and always wants to hold him and see him. By “see him” she means her face just 2 inches from his because sitting nearby just isn’t enough apparently.

Everyone is doing well and I am slowly getting back into a groove. Things are still crazy since babies aren’t very routine and Claire is done with school next week so I really don’t know what my new schedule will be. I am still posting regularly on my Facebook Page – Laura’s Stamp Pad. That is the best place to see inspiration and details regularly! Email and text is always open for you to reach me with questions as well! I am still responding to those fairly quickly!

Thank you all for your kind words, encouragement, and patience with me during the pregnancy with Baby Aaha and now that Alex is here!! You all mean so much to me and I appreciate you!

Happy Stampin’
