I love the color purple and this card turned out AMAZING!!!! I used the Apothecary Art Stamp Set and matching Labels Collection Framelits! I love how these matching framelits cut out the image so perfectly! And then the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder makes the background look so amazing and elegant! It gives the card texture and depth too! As for the flowers in the stamped image (use Stazon ink when coloring images so it doesn’t bleed), I used Blender Pens and reinker to color the flowers! I love this way of coloring because you can start off light and work your way darker! When using markers, you get a dark ink saturation with the first stroke of the marker but with the blender pens, you are picking up the color and adding it in. I have said it before and I’ll say it again….I LOVE WEDDINGS! They are just so amazing – the love, family time, the day every girl dreams of, and so much more! I love it and I love that even though my wedding day is over I can still be apart of so many weddings by helping brides!
This is a wedding invitation that I have recently finished! I love all of the textures and layers in this one! So elegant with the lattice and white on white look! This is a square invitation so it does require more postage but it just wouldn’t be the same if it was rectangle! The picture on the left is the inside of the invitation. The colors are flip-flopped though. The invitation is Tempting Turquoise and the pocket on the bottom is Calypso Coral. The pocket held the Reception Information and RSVP card and envelope! I added some texture to the pocket with the same embossing folder that I used on the front – Perfect Polka Dot (my favorite). You can see the Save The Dates from this wedding here.

Today is my Mom’s Birthday and in celebration I thought I would do a little post about her!!!!!
This card is perfect for her and while it isn’t the exact card I sent her on her Birthday, her’s did have the little lizard on it! She really likes little lizards. And you might think that this card looks a little like a kid’s card but that is perfectly fine! My Mom is the biggest kid I know! She really knows how to have fun and play! She is an amazing Grandma for that too! Roller coasters, concerts, swimming, games and so much more are some of the fun and crazy things we have all enjoyed together!
My Mom isn’t a hardcore stamper like me but she does enjoy stamping! Every year we get together and create her Christmas Cards which I love doing! You can check that out here! When I get to share what I love with someone I love, it is even more special to me! 🙂 My mom has had a few stamp classes at her house before too which is always so much fun and lots of laughs! I am planning one for next month already and I can’t wait! January was out of the question because she is in Hawaii while the rest of us are “enjoying” this fabulous winter weather we have been getting. Boo (sarcasm)! Happy Tuesday!!!! That means I have a fabulous Technique to share with you! This is a great way to use up some scrap pieces of cardstock that you have laying around and it is SUPER CUTE!
I love this card because of the bright colors and the fun that a lollipop brings!!! And this card is super simple…..besides the spacing of the lollipop circles which took me 3 times to finally get it right! 🙂
Supplies Needs: Crumb Cake Cardstock for card base, White Chalk Marker, scraps of white and various colors of cardstock, 1 inch Circle Punch, & Ribbon
I punched 11 different colors of cardstock with my 1 inch Circle Punch. You could do all shades of one color or lots of different colors! Then I took a 2 inch Circle Punched Piece (you could use any piece of scrap paper), find the center and then start attaching your circles. I held a pencil at the center point and made sure all of my circles touched that pencil point, this way I was sure I was going in a circle. I did have some troubles with my spacing which will vary depending on how many circles you use and all so I don’t have a spacing amount to share with you. I will say that when you start putting the circles down, don’t use a ton of adhesive in case you need to re-position. At the end which attaching it to my card, I added lots of dimensionals for extra adhesive and to POP it up! I added a little knot of ribbon around the lollipop stick (which is just cardstock). You could use a dowel rod but that will make it hard to mail. For the border, I used my Chalk Marker to add dash marks! I love how this adds a cute border without adding layers!!!! Have I ever mentioned before how I LOVE monkeys! Sock Monkeys are my favorite and I have at least 8 that I can think of off hand right now! They are just soooo cute! I’m not the only one here, right? Okay so maybe I am!

This little guy is the cutest thing ever! How can you not look at him and not say Ahhhh? And he is holding chocolate, but willing to give it up without a fight….so again he is fabulous!!! 🙂 Stampin’ Up came out with these adorable kits perfect making adorable Valentine’s Day treats! The kit comes with everything but the chocolate! It comes in blue and in pink! I know I know, you must be surprised that I didn’t purchase the pink kit. Its shocking to me too but I thought I would pick blue instead! I put a Hershey’s Miniature in mine and they fit perfectly. All you have to do is pull the little white piece off his belly to reveal a sticky piece that holds your candy. Then wrap his arms around the candy and interlock his wrist. Add a googly eye and a little heart over his arm! DONE! How easy is that and again….SUPER CUTE! Get your kit today in pink or blue by clicking here!
Yesterday I shared the One Sheet Wonder Technique with you all! You can check it out here! Here are a few more samples!
Once I had stamped all of the One Sheet of cardstock with the Daydream Medallion Stamps and cut up the pieces for each card, then I stamped and die-cut the flower pieces for all of the cards with the Floral Frames Framelits. Then I worked on the assembly part! Many of the cards have the added texture and color by brushing Baked Brown Sugar on the edges with a Sponge Dauber! Also, you will notice there are LOTS of banners so I stamped and cut out all of my banner tips too! TIP: When cutting your banner tips, its best to cut up in the middle (of the end of the paper) and then cut from the corner diagonally to that cut. This will make your banner tips equal length. Of course the sample on the right here is off. I made my original greeting banner with the tip above and then assembled that with the ribbon and just cut the Crisp Cantaloupe with an edge.
I love how the card on the left is so simple with the One Sheet Wonder piece on the bottom and some stamping on the card and then ribbon! TIP: Sticky Strip works best with the Ruffled Ribbon because it holds strong! These 3 cards were my favorites!!!

Happy Tuesday!!!! That means I have a fabulous Technique to share with you! This is a great way to create lots of cards at one time using similar colors and style! You can try it out with lots of different images like flowers, doilies, animals, leaves, & shapes!
Here are 6 of the 8 cards and box that were created with the One Sheet Wonder Technique! That’s right, one 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet of stamped cardstocked created 8 cards and a decorated box!!!! I used the Daydream Medallion Stamp Set and stamped all over the sheet of cardstock and even used my sponge daubers to add a little color in between the stamped images to add a little rustic, less bold look! Then I cut the sheet of cardstock into all of the pieces that I need for each of the cards. (See the grid to the left for measurements.) After cutting up all the pieces for each card, I stamped and cut out the images with the Floral Frames Framelits which match this stamp set perfectly! Also, all of the colors used for these cards came from the NEW In-Colors – Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar, Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, and Pistachio Pudding! The In-Color Boutique Details were used on some of the flowers but you could also use Antique Brads,Pearls, Rhinestones, or even nothing! It is so great to do all of these cards in matching colors of cardstock and embellishments! I used a few different colors of the Ruffled Ribbon as well. You can pick which ever one is your favorite or use a little bit of each color!

Some may think this card is a bit much with all the colors and stripes but others may say it is colorful and amazing! I used the Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper for the background and Retro Fresh Washi Tape on both ends of my Deco Label greeting piece. I love coloring my flowers different colors with the markers and this image is perfect for that! The flowers and greeting
come from the Embellished Events Stamp Set! That is one of my favorites because it has great images and perfect greetings for all occasions! Added a little Chevron ribbon to the card to complete it! Let me know in the comments what you think!!!
The card here on the left is so simple and FABULOUS! I used the Retro Fresh Washi Tape and just layered them on Very Vanilla. Then I layered that onto Coastal Cabana and So Saffron! The greeting is from the Million and One Stamp Set…..love it because the other greeting says FABULOUS! 🙂
