Coke Zero……my savior! I love it and it is my pick-me-up every afternoon. I call it my Zingy. When Claire doesn’t nap, this Momma really needs some Zingy to power through the rest of the day. What is your pick-me-up? A little chocolate? Caffeine? Let me know in the comments below!
The July Paper Pumpkin worked amazing for me this week. I had all of the little cards created and waiting to be used. Since they aren’t full sized cards, I tend to not use them up very quickly. Well I had my annual well-women doctor visit this week and those came in handy. If you remember during my pregnancy, I took everyone cards and treats all the time. I love everyone in that office. Well of course I couldn’t go empty handed this week. I wrote inside the card – Have an amazing day! ~Laura. I gave them to everyone I saw. It was the perfect little pick me up to make them smile. Goal Accomplished! Thank you Paper Pumpkin for helping me out!
Audio Books are AMAZING! They make a car ride/drive go so quick. Love it. I have been listening to books for a couple years now. I always feel so accomplished too because I arrive at my destination and read a book! How amazing is that?!?!? Let me know if you like them or hate them. Also, give me your book recommendations!

I love Coke Zero and audio books! I switched to Coke Zero from Coke around 2004 and have never looked back. 🙂 For audio books how do you listen? I have the Fairview Heights library app Cloud Library. I have heard friends in other areas talk about Overdrive and Libby apps. I’ve also heard Modern Mrs. Darcy (Ann Bogel) talk about libro.fm app although I haven’t checked it out. I’ve had free trials for Audible, Christian Audio and Scribd but haven’t wanted to pay for subscriptions. Two books I have loved lately are The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Last Christmas in Paris by Hazel Gaynor and Heather Webb. Looking forward to hearing about your surprise!
YEAH!!! A fellow Coke Zero and Audio Book person! Audible is good for the free book…..I don’t pay for the subscription either. I’m just too inconsistent with when I read. The Library app sounds handy though!!! I’ll have to check that out! I love Janet Evanovich and all of her various series. They are amazing! ~Laura

I would say romantic mystery. She is a bounty hunter and tracking down people so there is the scary mystery aspect but of course she has the hots for a couple guys in the police/bounty hunter field! ~Laura
