Happy 2018!!! Let’s Make It a Good One!!!

Happy Monday! Happy 2018!!! Let’s Make It a Good One!

Happy 2018, www.LaurasStampPad.com

It always seems like a new year is a new start! While that is true, do know that you can start anything at any time. There is never a perfect time to start something so why not now or in 3 months or in 2 weeks. I would like to share a few of the things I hope to start, continue, enjoy, and do in 2018!!!

~Sending out cards is always special to me. I love making them and using them! Still to this day, it surprises me at how much a simple note in the mail (happy mail) can mean so much to someone! I plan to continue sending out Birthday Cards and Anniversary Cards to friends and family. Also, I hope to send out more “thinking of you” or “you got this.” Another thing to consider, while a sympathy card is great. Don’t forget to check in on the person a few months later too!!

~I love what I do!! While it doesn’t always feel like work because I enjoy it, sometimes I feel like I am always working! I’m hoping to set more time to focus on just work so that I’m not spending as many evenings and weekends working on things to get caught up. We shall see how this one pans out with our little one coming in May! I might just be working evenings and weekends or when I get a chance. 🙂

~I love taking pictures, making memories, and spending time with family! This is always something I hope to continue each year!!!  Taking time for vacations, trips to the zoo, and relaxing on the front porch at my parents house need to be scheduled in now!!!

~Last but not least, I hope to continue having a safe and healthy pregnancy the next few months! I hope to have a good delivery and a healthy baby! Can’t wait to hold our little bundle of joy!

What are some of your hopes, dreams, goals, or wishes for 2018?? Let me know in the comments below so I can cheer you on! Reach for the stars!

    • Oh how fabulous! I’m so happy for you!! Wishing you a safe delivery and healthy baby!! Good luck these last few weeks!!! ~Laura

  1. Consider the start of a new year blank pages of a new book. I need to slow down and focus on more important things like family, friends and me. With job going away, I’ll have adjustments to make but bring ’em on. I am so excited for you and your family. Savor every minute, it goes fast.

    • It will be a new change that may be difficult in the beginning but it will soon become the norm and you will love it! Good luck with the transition! ~Laura

  2. Laura,

I wish you and Brad much happiness and success in 2018. You’ll know what to take on and what to let go, especially once the baby arrives. Now that the holidays are over, and everyone is back home, I’m going to really feel retired. It will be an adjustment for me, but really looking forward to it. See you in a couple of weeks!

    • Thank you so much!! The planner in me is having a hard time with not being able to plan all of this because you just never know how things are going to go. Trying to relax and just enjoy the ride. LOL Can’t wait to see you soon and hear all about your holiday and family time!!! ~Laura
