I have seen so many projects done with the Playful Pets Suite that I knew I had to get in on the fun. There are many time a friend loses a pet or gets a pet that I think to send a card for but I don’t always have the supplies. Since I don’t think I will use this all the time, I got just the designer paper to start with!

I am cat person so of course I am loving the kitty prints the most in this pack. Also, the paw prints and bowls and stuff are really cute. I feel like unless you know the breed of the dog, it could be odd to send a card with a dog on it but not the correct one. Am I wrong? Maybe dog people wouldn’t care. I feel like while there technically are different breeds of cats, to me they are all just cats! 🙂 Let me know your favorite in the comment below – dogs or cats???

I’m not a huge fan of Fall but I think that’s only because it means winter is coming. I hate winter. Another option could be that I’m not really a earthly tones…browns, oranges type of girl. I prefer blacks and grays and bright colors! UNTIL NOW……Stampin’ Up released this Gilded Autumn Designer Paper and I love it so much!!!

I have already been playing with this paper and I can’t get enough of it. It is so pretty. There are punches that coordinate with the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set as well as this paper. No need to fussy cutting the images or coloring the stamped images if that’s not your thing. Of course, if you enjoy that, go for it! The foil patterns are just stunning and add that little pop of shine. I just may be looking forward to Fall this year!!!

The August to December Mini Catalog begins on August 4th and I just can’t wait any longer to share with you the amazing products!!! Today, I’m showing off the Plaid Tidings Paper because it is one of my favorites!!!

I’m from a small town and my family farms! Plaid button down shirts are a major staple for most of the men in my family. When I first saw this paper, I pictured my Dad having a shirt in many of these color combinations. It really made me smile and warmed my heart. I’ll have to confirm with my Mom but I think he had shirt similar to the upper left (pink/yellow/blue) back when they were dating. Any of the other blue and green designs are for sure prints that he currently wears. I just love it all!

Plaid is perfect for the Fall and Winter season because of it’s soft, warm feeling. It also works great for many occasions! I can see using this paper for a long time and that makes me excited!!! The more versatile the paper is, the more I know I can use every sheet!!

You all know I love flowers!! I really love Peonies too! They were used in our wedding flowers actually! When Stampin’ Up released the Peony Garden Paper, I got super excited. I would love to see more shades of pink but I know everything can’t be pink! 🙂

This paper has Basic Gray, Gray Granite, Petal Pink and Whisper White! While I wish it was all shades of pink, I am excited to use the grays with bright colored flowers as the focal point! I can’t wait to start playing with this paper! There are also lots of basic background images that will be good for any occasion or gender!

You all MUST check out this fabulous paper! It’s bright colors. It has cool patterns and I think I need to order 5 more packs right now!!! It’s the Artistry Blooms Paper!!!

This paper has some amazing ombre looks that can be used to show that off or cut into smaller pieces for just one shade of color. That’s pretty cool. I have already played with this paper and the Hippo Happiness Stamp Set that has a unicorn in it. It’s perfect for that! I am loving the prints that are perfect for both masculine and feminine because then I can create the same card but get a totally different look! Next, I plan to use it with some birthday balloons!!! When I first saw this paper, I thought I was shopping at Home Depot! These patterns are like all the amazing textures and backgrounds for carpet, tiling, flooring, and more! They are fabulous for cardmaking and scrapbooking too!!! The thing that I find so perfect is how real they look.
