This card just screams SPRING to me! Or maybe it is just me who is screaming SPRING and wishing it would come sooner! I love these colors together – Pistachio Pudding, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate! That Ruffled Ribbon is so amazing to use sticking out of a piece of cardstock – so cute and ruffly! 🙂 I used the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper and You’re Lovely Stamp Set which are both Sale-A-Bration items that you can earn for FREE! I used my markers to color in the stamp and get such beautiful colors in those flowers and border! I love coloring in my stamps with markers because when you stamp it down it is just MAGIC. I always pick the stamp back up and am still impressed with the amazing look! The magic of ink on a stamp to paper still amazes me! 🙂 I used the Deco Label Framelit to cut out this image perfectly! I love how the Framelits and Stamps match up so well! Let me know in the comments below which stamp set and punch or framelit is your favorite combination!
The card is not my typical style. I usually stick with a more simple style card and I don’t usually use so many layers but every once in a while you need to break tradition. It is so much more fun adding texture and layers to your card when its FREE too! I used lots of fabulous Sale-A-Bration items for this card! Can you pick out all of the items I used? Decorative Dots Embossing Folder for a little extra texture and bump bump! 🙂 And the dots went so well with the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper! I added the Paper Lace Doily to the back of the greeting strip as well! Then I used my Banner Blast Stamp Set and matching Banner Punch which are both items that you can earn for FREE through Sale-A-Bration! The thank you greeting is from the Lots of Thanks Stamp Set which is one of my favorites, since I make lots of Thank You cards!!! I finished it off with a little bling – a star in Champagne Glimmer Paper! So what do you think? Too many layers? Love it? Needs more? Let me know in the comments below!
HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! I love Valentine’s Day because it is a wonderful day of showing your love! Of course, we should show our love every day of the year but this day is dedicated to it! Here are some of the ways I showed my love!
Each of my nieces and nephews got a little monster with a piece of candy in it! I thought those were fitting….after all they are all my little monsters. 😉 The treat bags went to their parents! I didn’t want to leave them out and of course if the children needed more candy, there was plenty in there! And this fabulous card went to my #1 Valentine – MY HUSBAND!
That card was created with the Banner Blast Stamp Set and matching Banner Punch from the Sale-A-Bration brochure! The little heart made a perfect background as well as a cute banner! I used Strawberry Slush cardstock and ink on this one….of course it had to be PINK, my favorite! I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day and know that I love you all today and every day!
Happy Tuesday!!! You know what that means – I’m sharing a fabulous technique with you. I’m not going to lie, I had a hard time coming up with the name for this card so Diagonal Designer Series Paper Card is what it is!!!
Supplies Needed: 12″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Designer Series Paper, Paper Cutter, Score Blade or Bone Folder
Using a 12” x 5-1/2” piece of Designer Series Paper, score at 2”, 4”, 8”, and 10”. Fold on those score lines making mountains on either side of the center. Along the 5-1/2” side, put a little mark at 2-3/4” with a pencil. Then cut from the 4” score diagonal to that 2-3/4” mark! Do that on both sides. You will then flip those pieces over and layer them on the bottom of the mountains. Then decorate your card as you wish!!! If you want to watch a video of me using this technique click here!
I always need Thank You cards so I went with that greeting for this card. I used the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series which is one of the items you can earn for FREE through Sale-A-Bration! The greeting is from the Lots of Thanks Stamp Set! The things I love the most about this fabulous card is that you can get 2 out of one sheet of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and you get to see both sides of the fabulous paper. It is hard for me sometimes to pick which side of paper I want to use and this card doesn’t require that decision! 🙂 I hope you enjoyed this technique and try it out for yourself! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
It is Sale-A-Bration time!!!! That means that your earn free stuff as a customer, hostess, and if you wish to join Stampin’ Up! The stamp set You’re Lovely is so amazing! It has fabulous flowers and greetings! Check out this sample!
This card is super simple and so amazing! I used my favorite color – Pool Party and Basic Gray! The Designer Series Paper is also one of the items you can earn for FREE with Sale-A-Bration – Sweet Sorbet! I added a little White Baker’s Twine for some texture. For the greeting, I stamped the image in Basic Gray on a scrap piece of Whisper White and then again on a piece of Basic Gray. I die-cut the Basic Gray piece with the Deco Labels Framelits and I punched out the white piece out with my Circle Punch! Then I layered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals! TIP: That layered piece of Pool Party cardstock is 4″ x 5-1/4″ which is just 1/4″ inch less than the card base. When cutting these pieces out, you end up with a little extra piece of cardstock. I have millions of these pieces and so I started putting that little piece on the inside as a little decoration. That is the piece that you can see on the inside of the card! 🙂 Always looking for ways to use my scraps!
I’m telling you Gold is In!!!! This Good As Gold Card Kit from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog is super cute and so easy!!!! It comes with everything except adhesive and in many different languages! I stuck with Thank You and For You because I’m not sure what the rest say….except Merci! Is this cute or what??
This fabulous kit comes with the pre-printed Polka Dot Card base, all 3 of the little banners (pre-printed and ready to go) and a piece of Gold Cord and Island Indigo Baker’s Twine for each card! And that’s not all, it also comes with the Crumb Cake envelope and gold liner!!!! I popped out that tiny little gold star and stuck in the corner on the inside of my card for a little bling in there! This card hits almost all of my favorites – Polka Dots, Colorful, and Bling – only missing some PINK! 🙂 You can earn this fabulous kit for FREE for every $50 in product you order!!!! Now that calls for a Sale-A-Bration!!!!
I think my favorite items from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog are the Banner Blast Stamp Set and coordinating Banner Punch! I mean how can you not love it when you see a card this cute?!?!?!
Eeee So precious and super simple! I couldn’t help myself and created a million (okay like 8) of these cards using the New In-Colors – Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, and Baked Brown Sugar! I picked one of those colors for my card base and then got out my Whisper White scraps. The piece in the middle is 3″ x 5-1/2″. I used Whisper White Baker’s Twine and adhered it to the back of the cardstock with Stampin’ Dimensionals (LOVE). I added more Dimensionals to attach it to the card front. I think took all of my scraps and stamped the little Banners in all different colors and punched them out! I attached each of them with a Dimensional too! (I’m telling ya, I love those things!) Some of the cards I used all of the colors, others I used the same color as the base, and others I mixed 2 colors of banners. Not sure which I prefer the most though! What do you think? Leave a comment below! The greetings are from the Happy Day Stamp Set and I used the Baked Brown Sugar for that. I had this card at my stamp party this past weekend and the ladies there thought it was an adorable baby card. I think it is an adorable card for all occasions! 🙂 And remember both of these items are FREE Sale-A-Bration items that you can earn with every $50 you spend from now till the end of March!
