Absolutely Amazing!!!

Posted on

I’m all about the quick and simple cards lately. I just don’t have the time to craft and create like I did in the past. It makes me kind of sad but I also keep telling myself it’s just a season and soak up all the baby/toddler time I can. This Absolutely Amazing card is super uplifting and beautiful!

Absolutely Amazing Greeting Card, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I created this card with the Color & Contour Stamp Set which I am super loving lately! Polished Pink & Basic Gray are the ink colors I used so it was minimal supplies that I had to get out! This card was also created on a Note Card & Envelope set! No cardstock cutting or anything! Ribbon is my go-to embellishment so of course I had to add some of that. You could also add some bling too! There are lots of ways to add to this card for a more detailed look or a simple one!

This card is a perfect one to send as #happymail any time. It could simply be to brighten someone’s day or you could even send it as a birthday card! I love sending #happymail! The impact of a handstamped card is amazing! With all the bills and junk mail that arrive daily, seeing that little envelope with your name on it and maybe even a decorated envelope is sure to brighten your day!

I wish I could send you all some happy mail because you are truly amazing and mean so much to me. You all fill my heart and soul with happiness and gratitude! Thank you for following me here on my blog, watching my Facebook Lives or YouTube videos, and interacting with me! I love the community I have built and feel like we are all family! THANK YOU!!!

Enjoy The Moment!!!

Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them!!! The Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set has images that some may think are weeds or a nuisance but they makes some pretty fabulous cards!!

Enjoy the Moment Stampin' Up Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I needed some cards…..like REALLY BAD! My stash was getting really low since I wasn’t stamping as much after the birth of Alex! I got out this stamp set because I hadn’t played with it yet. It probably isn’t something I would have picked out myself but I got it free from Stampin’ Up at one of the events last year. Fabulous demonstrator perks!!!

Bakers Twine Essentials Pack, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I used a Very Vanilla card base, Soft Succulent layer (4″ x 5-1/4″) and then Very Vanilla layer (3-3/4″ x 5″). All of the stamping is in Early Espresso which makes this card quick and simple – one ink pad and one stamp set!

The first one was just layered and simple. The second one I added a little bit of the twine from the Bakers Twine Essential Pack! Then for the third card, I added in even more with some Stitched Rectangles, twine, and Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder! Which one is your favorite??

Stampin' Up! Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Honestly, I started out with this 3rd one and slowly made it more and more simple! I actually like the simplest one the most! There is just something about the colors and layers that I love! I love it so much I made a 20 more in various colors – Mossy Meadow, Just Jade, and Night of Navy!!! I love them all and now I have a good masculine card stash!

Color & Contour!!!

Posted on

Pink is my favorite color and I just love flowers so this card makes me super happy! The Color & Contour Stamp Set has been on my desk a lot lately. This card could be made in every In Color with the supplies I used!!! Check out the list of items below so you can make some too!

Color & Contour Stampin' Up Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I started with a Basic White thick cardstock base! When I create a card with the base of white or vanilla, I like to use the Thick Cardstock! Next, I took a piece of the In Color Designer Series Paper (4″ x 5-1/4″) and wrapped some Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon around it. This ribbon comes in all 5 of the in colors! Adding just a small piece across the card front adds a little texture and fun to the card but no need for a bow and only uses a small amount!

For the focal point, I die cut one of the scallop rectangles from the coordinating Scalloped Contour Dies. LOVE THESE!!! The greeting was stamped in Polished Pink and then I added it to the card front!! The flower image was stamped in Memento Black Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends! Then I die cut it out with the same Scalloped Contour Dies and added it to the label with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals!

2021-2023 Stampin' Up! In Colors, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the inside of the card, I added a little leftover strip of the designer paper to the left hand side. Then using the little dots of the Color & Contour Stamp Stamp Set, I stamped them in the right hand corner. To get a little variation of color, I inked it up and stamped 3 times, moving the stamp around a bit.

I love this Color & Contour Bundle so much because it’s super versatile. This card could be created in any color you like too! Check out the supplies listed below to see what I used! If you want them all, click ADD ALL TO CART for quick and simple shopping!

Beauty of Friendship!!!

Posted on

I really struggle with masculine cards but I have found that the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set has so amazing images for man cards! What about you??? Do you struggle with man cards? Let me know in the comments below!

Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set Stampin' Up!, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I used the Note Cards and Envelopes for these cards which makes them even more quick and easy! First, I stamped the more solid tree image from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set in Soft Succulent. I stamped this one first because I didn’t want to stamp the trunk and then realize I went to high on the card and the tree doesn’t fit. Next, I stamped the second detailed tree image in Evening Evergreen. Add the trunk and greeting in Early Espresso and boom you are all done stamping! How easy is that?!?!?

My original card used the Early Espresso Faux Suede Ribbon (far left) but then I ran out. Then, I went with some Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon and really liked that look but thought it looked a smidge more elegant. Since I struggle with man cards, I decided to make multiples for my stash and even tried out the Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon. When I did a poll the Evening Evergreen was the winner by far. Which is your favorite??

Here For You Now…

You all know how much I love flowers, scrolly fonts, and ribbon as my go-to embellishment!!! Check out this card that just screams LAURA!!!! The greeting – Here For You Now And In Better Days Ahead is just amazing too!!!

Here For You Now, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I created this card with the NEW Hand Penned Designer Series Paper measuring 3″ x 3-3/4″ which is a perfect size to use up an entire sheet of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper! BONUS! I layered it onto Misty Moonlight and a Pale Papaya card base! This color combination is just fabulous!!!

The stamp set I used is the Color & Contour Stamp Set which has this fabulous greeting, flower, and those fun little dots that I used in the corner. I thought it added a little extra fun rather than just have solid cardstock! The greeting was stamped on a die cut which is in the Color & Contour Bundle – Scalloped Contour Dies. These are AMAZING!!!! Such fun scallop edged images with so much fun texture and look! MUST HAVE!

Color & Contour Stampin' Up Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

On the inside of the card, I stamped a flower and the coordinating greeting. It really pulls the card together I think. You could also stamp the flower onto the envelope too.

Hand Penned Designer Series Paper Stampin' Up, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Here I created 2 more cards using different prints from the same Hand Penned Designer Series Paper Pack. Because the colors were a bit different, I went with Pale Papaya and Pool Party! Which color combination is your favorite – Misty Moonlight or Pool Party??? Let me know in the comment below! I love how you can use different patterns in the same pack for a fabulous card in the same style!

Oh So Ombre Dragonfly!!!

Posted on

So last week, I shared with you a fabulous Dragonfly card and said but wait there is more! Here is the the more!!! This Oh So Ombre Dragonfly is even better than the last one….or at least I think so. This one is my favorite!!! Let me know in the comments whether you prefer this one or the one linked above from last week!

Oh So Ombre Dragonfly, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card was super simple and uses the majority of the 6″ x 6″ Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper. It comes in the 4 colors – Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, Rococo Rose, and Granny Apple Green!

I started with the card base of each of the colors listed above. Then I cut a piece of Basic Black (4″ x 5-1/4″). This just makes the color POP even more! I love it! The designer paper is then just 1/8 smaller (3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″). I layered those together and tied some Whisper White Polka Dot Ribbon around it and then added it to the card front. This layer was actually added with Stampin’ Dimensionals. You all know how much I love them!

Stampin Up Dragonfly, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the focal point, I die cut out a black scallop square with the Layering Square Dies. The Basic White square is simply a 2″ square but I added some texture by running it through the Subtle Embossing Folder. It doesn’t show well in the photo because it is subtle but it’s the perfect amount of texture! This layer was added flat to the card front. The Dragonfly was stamped in the coordinating color to the Designer Paper and then punched out with the coordinating Dragonfly Punch! I added him to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals! 🙂 I couldn’t help myself! To finish it off, I colored some Basic Rhinestones with the coordinating Stampin’ Blends Marker and added a few!

6" x 6" Designer Paper Template, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Here you can see the 2 fun Dragonfly cards using 1 sheet of the 6″ x 6″ Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper that you can get for FREE with Sale-A-Bration!!! Click the supplies below to start creating these fun cards!!!

Floral One Sheet Wonder!!

Posted on

One Sheet Wonders are so much fun because they use ALL of one sheet of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (or 6″ x 6″). I like to stick to minimal products as well to really just enjoy the card making part and not the big mess part! 🙂 This Floral One Sheet Wonder is my current favorite!!!

Floral One Sheet Wonder, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I used the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper which is just stunning! The back side of the floral paper is that fun mosaic yellow print which I used on 2 cards. It was just so hard to not use the floral side. Then I looked at the paper pack at the coordinating colors and picked my favorite – Night of Navy, Petal Pink, and Merry Merlot. I went with Basic White even though there is also some Very Vanilla in the pattern too.

First, I started off by cutting my card bases in each of the 3 colors (4 bases). This makes 12 cards! Then I cut my designer series paper and just started layering and mixing and matching! For the greetings, I stamped the Many Messages greeting in Merry Merlot and Night of Navy and die cut them with the coordinating die. BOOM! 19 greetings in each color! It was so quick and simple. AMAZING! Then as I was creating the cards, I just grabbed a greeting and popped it on. Another option would be to package the cards and greetings together and attach as you need the cards.

This Floral One Sheet Wonder set made quick and simple cards for all of my upcoming occasions! This is also a great gift to wrap all of these cards up together and offer! Have you ever tried out a One Sheet Wonder?? Let me know in the comments below! Spread the Love!!!

Valentine’s Day is around the corner so I want to share this sample to inspire you!!! This card is perfect for Valentine’s Day, Anniversaries, and just any old day to spread the love!

Spread the Love, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I love this card because it’s so fabulous it doesn’t even need a greeting on the front which makes it even more versatile! Perfect!!!

I started with a regular Whisper White card base and folded it in half. Then I cut 3/4″ off the front flap to reveal the inside of the card. Then I stamped the row of hearts from the Lots of Hearts Stamp Set along the edge in Rococo Rose Ink! I also stamped a greeting on the inside in Rococo Rose Ink!

For the front of the card, I added a piece of Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper (5-1/4″ x 3-1/4″) on the front flap! Then for the heart, I stamped it in Rococo Rose onto Blushing Bride and layered it onto Rococo Rose! Next, I added a little loop of the Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon and secured it with Stampin’ Dimensionals! I actually used the underside of the ribbon rather than the super metallic side! It’s softer and perfect!

What occasion would you use this card for? Let me know in the comments below! Either way, don’t forget to spread the love to those who mean the world to you! If you want to recreate this card, check out the supplies listed below! You can even click ADD ALL TO CART for easy shopping! Don’t forget about Sale-A-Bration too!

Deck the Halls, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Embossed Designer Paper!!!

Posted on

I feel like this season there is a chance for more mailed Christmas presents than normal. That means sending a fun thank you will be needed, right?!?!? This embossed designer paper card with a super cute seasonal greeting is perfect….and simple!

Embossed Designer Paper, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I started with a Night of Navy card base. Next, I took a piece of the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper (ON SALE) and embossed it with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. This gives some cool texture and really makes the splatter/cloudy designer paper pop more! Then I layered this onto a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock (4″ x 5-1/4″). Using some Night of Navy ribbon from the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Pack, I tied it around the layered embossed piece. Then I added it to the card front.

Thank You Snow Much, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the greeting, I die cut out the label from the Painted Labels Dies. The greeting is from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set! I stamped the greeting in Night of Navy Ink and then I stamped a few snowflakes around in Seaside Spray. For the snowflakes, I did stamp off once to make sure it was a subtle background look and not overwhelming on the greeting! This was added to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals!

On the inside of the card, I added a piece of Whisper White (4″ x 5-1/4″) and stamped a few snowflakes along the right side!!! Don’t forget you can always stamp the envelope as well to really pull it all together!

Check out all of the supplies for this embossed designer paper card below. Want them all, just click ADD ALL TO CART!!! It’s that simple!
