March Paper Pumpkin Fun!!!

March Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

The March Paper Pumpkin was super fabulous because I love black and white with a pop of color! I also super love the sewn You letters. How fabulous is that?!?!?! I will admit that this kit took longer than 30 minutes due to the sewing part. If you are really good at that part, you might be done in 30 minutes. I was also super distracted as well! 🙂

Crafting on the Couch, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Don’t you all craft while sitting on the couch with your laptop on your lap and watching Dancing With The Stars??? I love that show! Let me know if you love it too and who your favorite it in the comments!!! I got all of the sewing down while watching DWTS on Monday night and I assembled them on Tuesday morning! DONE!!!

March Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I did lots of different styles because I wanted to have some variety! Here are my Thank You cards with a few epoxy stickers on them! I also wanted to mix it up and make some of the cards sideways! I can’t always do all of the cards exactly like the instructions. I have to add my own flare!

March Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

These cards are perfect to have on hand for those Just Because or Thinking of You Cards!! I love the little epoxy heart on the bottom corner! <3

March Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

As always I need lots of Birthday cards so I went with a few of those and the arrows are perfect for them!

February Paper Pumpkin,www.LaurasStampPad.com

Have I told you how much I LOVE Paper Pumpkin???? I LOVE PAPER PUMPKIN….lots and lots! It is so much fun from the beginning to the end. It arrives in the mail in an orange box so that is exciting! You open it up not knowing what is inside. I love surprises! It is wrapped in tissue paper like a present (every month)! There are so many goodies inside!!!! It is just super fabulous and if you want to hear my excitement, you can check out this video of me opening the box for the first time!

February Paper Pumpkin,www.LaurasStampPad.com

Here is everything that I created! I did save back a 2 more white long cards and 2 boxes because I want to make a mini album out of at least one of them. I need to print some pictures that would be perfect for the little cards. How cute would it be to have a little brag book in your purse of your children, grandchildren or nieces and nephews? Precious!!! There is also a ton of Baker’s Twine that I will use for the packaging of these cards!

February Paper Pumpkin,www.LaurasStampPad.com

So this is a card just like the instructions that were provided in the box! Super cute and so much fun! Then my mind went crazy creative and I made these…….

February Paper Pumpkin,www.LaurasStampPad.com

How fabulous would this be….have everyone in the office or in your family or in your girl’s group write something after the “I just wanted to say…”. That is amazing! These cards would also be great cards to send to someone as a get well because they make a great display card to brighten up any room! Also, did you see how I used the H and I from the THANKS letters provided!!! 🙂

February Paper Pumpkin,www.LaurasStampPad.com

Then I cut 2 of the white folded pieces into little mini cards! This was so much fun to decorate each little mini card. I created a few Monogram Cards for some upcoming birthdays! NOTE: The little boxes are perfect for dropping a mini card and a gift card in there for a gift! Love it!!!

February Paper Pumpkin,www.LaurasStampPad.com

Here is a little bundle of cards and one of the boxes all decorated! Perfect little gift for a hostess, co-worker, friend, or just about anyone!

December My Paper Pumpkin!!!!

Posted on

December 2014 My Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Eeeee! I just love these cards! I love the color combination – Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, and Bermuda Bay! I love the Bermuda Bay Sequins and I love that they are shaker cards! Super fun!!!! Stampin’ Up sure wows me every month with the My Paper Pumpkin kits! The month of December was even better because of this FREE GIFT in the box!

December 2014 My Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Who doesn’t love Free Gifts?!?!?! Click here to check out my video of when I opened this kit! I was excited!

December 2014 My Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Now lets get started! Here are all the goodies that came in the kit! It was really easy to assemble although I do think this kit took a little longer than 30 minutes but I was watching a show while doing it so I was moving a little slow! 🙂 I love that Stampin’ Up included this little toothpick looking tool for poking out all of the little stars. It was perfect and made that tasks super easy!

December 2014 My Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Another item that I want to point out is the Dimensionals for the back of your shaker frame. I used 2 of the short ones on the top and bottom. I used 2 of the long ones on the sides….be sure to have them touching so you don’t have any leaks on your shaker card. I would hate to have you shake it and watch it fly out and go everywhere! Although that would be like sending a card and one of those Party Poppers in one to someone! 🙂 I felt that the bottom portion needed a little bit of Dimensional or otherwise it would squish down since nothing was there. I used the border and the extras of the pieces to add some down there. You can see that in the photo below….I couldn’t use the flash because of the clear window sheets.

December 2014 My Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I still had some of the Dimensional pieces leftover in the end! I loved making these cards and while I was taking the words off their sticky paper, I thought I could use these too! So I took the negative image, cut them apart from each other and placed them on a Note Card & Envelope!

December 2014 My Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

How cute are these little simple cards? As you can see the Thank You greeting was diagonal on the sheet in order to fit so I had to cut diagonally. I thought they came out super cute and oh so simple! So I got 18 cards from this My Paper Pumpkin Kit with just adding in 9 Note Cards & Envelopes. That is fabulous work for say an hours time…..and enjoying a show on TV! 🙂

I can’t wait to see what the January Kit is going to be! Don’t miss out on another month, sign up for My Paper Pumpkin by clicking here! Who doesn’t love FREE Gifts? During Sale-A-Bration which starts tomorrow, the 6th, get a 3-month Paper Pumpkin Prepaid Subscription for just $54.85. That is a $5 savings and that qualifies you for a Sale-A-Bration reward!!!! Woot Woot!!!! Pre-Paid Subscriptions make great gifts too!

November My Paper Pumpkin!!

Posted on

I know I’m a little behind on completing my November Paper Pumpkin Kit! Just like everyone, the past couple of weeks have been crazy! I finally finished my kit this past week…..just in time to use the tags on my presents but too late for Holiday Cards.

November Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

The goodies arrived in the middle of November and I was super excited! You can check out this video which I did when I first opened it! That was so exciting to open and share with all of you! I instantly loved the stamps which have perfect greetings. My Christmas Cards were all complete but I needed a greeting for the inside and this one was PERFECT! I stamped….correction my husband stamped that on the inside of my cards while I completed the rest and stuffed them in the envelopes. He is so fabulous! 🙂 Then life got in the way and time flew by and I finally sat down last week to do the rest of the kit. I am using the tags for my presents but I’m done with my cards so I created winter birthday cards! I did them exactly like the instructions but with a greeting from Remembering Your Birthday Stamp Set!

November Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Super cute and now I’m ready for all of my January Birthdays! Love it!!!!! Also, for the popped out letters on the tags, I created this quick and simple Birthday Card!

Age Awareness Nov MPP, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I took a Note Card and Envelope, added some Washi Tape to the top and bottom. I used the greeting from the Age Awareness Stamp Set and added the letters HAPPY. Fabulous!!!! I can’t wait to get my December Kit in the mail any day now! Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you don’t miss out on the December My Paper Pumpkin Reveal! Make sure you are signed up before January 10th so you can receive the January Kit! These also make fabulous Christmas Presents! Click here to see the pre-paid subscription options!

October Paper Pumpkin SU

You know how I am loving My Paper Pumpkin and this month I have even more love to share with you!!! My kit arrived and now only was I excited but…..

October My Paper Pumpkin Excitement, www.LaurasStampPad.com

….so was my husband! 🙂 I ripped open the box, tossed aside the tissue paper and saw all kinds of goodies!

October My Paper Pumpkin Excitement, www.LaurasStampPad.com

My first thought was wow look at all of this stuff and my second thought was who has leftover pie at Thanksgiving….definitely not at my family Thanksgiving! 🙂 While the pie boxes are super cute, I just don’t need a lot of gift boxes for Thanksgiving so I let my mind wander a little bit and look what happened!

Paper Pumpkin Samples, www.LaurasStampPad.comI am always in need to cards especially Thank You and Happy Birthday so I took a few pieces of Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, and Melon Mambo cardstock and started cutting my boxes into pieces! The only items that I used that did not come in the box are the card bases, Night of Navy Ink, Melon Mambo Ink, and the Happy Birthday Greeting which came from the July My Paper Pumpkin! Of course on top of making these TEN cards, I also created 4 of the boxes! AND I still have lots of leftover items (2 boxes, lots of yarn, lots of feathers, adhesive and greeting stickers). Of course the stamp set and ink pad are left as well! 🙂 I am always blown away with how much stuff is in the My Paper Pumpkin boxes!Paper Pumpkin Samples, www.LaurasStampPad.com

And because I have so much to show you, I thought I would do a little Video Tutorial showing off each sample! Check that out here and if you like it, be sure to give it a thumbs up! Don’t forget to subscribe to My Channel so you don’t miss out on my Gift Packaging Series and other fabulous videos!

September My Paper Pumpkin!!!

Posted on

Okay, so you all know how much I LOVE My Paper Pumpkin lately! It is just so fabulous! It’s a surprise in the mail (love that), it is wrapped in tissue paper like a present (Eeee), and it includes so much product I’m shocked every month!!!! Another fabulous thing about it, it prepares you for all the upcoming Holidays. In May, it included Father’s Day cards. In June, it was red, white and blue pinwheels and treat bags and so much more. I was in desperate need of a new wreath for my door and this worked out perfectly! This month my kit arrived, I ripped it open like it was Christmas morning (I’m not a slow gift opener, I attack presents), and saw the cutest little burlap bags with all kinds of tag goodies!!!!

September Paper Pumpkin Goodie Bags, www.LaurasStampPad.com

How precious are these? Little burlap bags in stripes and polka dots! All you have to do is fill with goodies and create the tag! The tags are super fun to decorate with the stamp set and die cut stickers! There is an entire sheet of stickers left over after I created all of the tags. I tied the bags shut with some black Baker’s Twine and then attached the tag and sequins with the clothespin! Love it! I still have twine and sequins left over too! I can use those with the extra tags!

Adding My Own Flare To My Paper Pumpkin Kit!

Posted on

Today I am going to show you how I took a kit (My Paper Pumpkin August Kit) and created as the instructions showed AND then added my own flare! First things first, check out this amazing August Kit!

August Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

When I first opened my Paper Pumpkin Kit, I was WOWED by all of the supplies! There were 2 each of the die cut greetings on the left, 4 large card bases and envelopes, 4 small card bases and envelopes, Stamps, PINK Sequins (yes, I squealed when I saw these), Brads, Hello Honey Ink, twine, die cut tags and circle, and 4 each of the hearts and stars cards. To put it short….LOTS of goodies! Here are the samples that I created just like the instructions!!!

August Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I just love these cards! They are super cute, polka dots, sequin bling and so much more! But after creating all of these cards, I had so much left over…..more sequins, more die cut greetings, tags and other items! I grabbed 2 pieces of Whisper White and 2 pieces of Strawberry Slush and cut them in half to make more cards and here is what I got!

August Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I squealed again with the adorableness of the cards on the left. Pink ombre dots with sequins…..LOVE! How amazing is that? I got 8 cards and envelopes created just like the kit shows and an additional 8 cards! I could have created even more cards if I added in a few more pieces of cardstock and used fewer layers on each card. Have you ever taken a kit and done your own thing? I do enjoy following the samples provided but sometimes I really think outside the box and come up with some amazing projects!!! PS: I still have more circles and tags left over (stamps and ink too)! I love My Paper Pumpkin! All of this was created for $19.95!

Click here to sign up! The kit comes right to your door each month for a little crafty get-away! It is a surprise every month and includes all the supplies! This is perfect for everyone – those who don’t have time, those who like to get crafty, those who don’t have the space for a craft room, those who need cards, those who like cute home decor, and everyone in between!
