Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Thanksgiving is my second favorite holiday and I’m super excited to celebrate it this year!!! I love that it is a simple holiday focused on food and family and celebrating our blessings. I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving too!!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, www.LaurasStampPad.com

There is so much to be thankful today and every day! From the big things to the little things that we have, they are all very special and wonderful! This year, I thought I would share a few new things I’m thankful for.

~I’m super thankful for my amazing Doctor and all the nurses and staff throughout my pregnancy, 33 hours of labor, and C-section delivery.

~Of course, Brad and I are thankful to have a beautiful, healthy baby girl! She is our whole world and we love her more and more with each day!

~Even more this year, I am thankful for Stampin’ Up and this amazing opportunity. Being able to work from home and on my own schedule has been amazing over the past year. Having the ability to share with I love and love what I do is something I’m forever grateful for!

~I’m thankful for Stampin’ Up having their 30th Birthday Party in Orlando, Florida. I’m sure we would have not gone to Florida or Epcot with a 5 month old if it weren’t for Stampin’ Up luring us there! 🙂 Thank you for the amazing opportunity and chance to get out of the house and out of town!

~As always, I’m so thankful for all of you. My followers, my customers, and those who watch my videos…you all are so amazing and mean the world to me! Thank You!!!

I hope you have an amazing day today and stay safe if you are traveling! Check back tomorrow for Stampin’ Up’s Online Extravaganza!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

May Your Christmas Be Bright!!!

Posted on

Happy Wednesday!!! I know tomorrow is Thanksgiving and here I am sharing a Christmas card. I have so many to share and Thanksgiving cards are probably already complete and ready to go so…..May Your Christmas Be Bright!!!!

May Your Christmas Be Bright, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I got the idea for this card from our team event back in August – Vacation Stamping School. The sample was a smaller card and just a little gold glimmer banner. I changed it up and made it a full size card!!

First, I started with a Real Red card base. Next, I cut a piece of the All Is Bright Designer Paper into a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece. Using the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set, I stamped the lightbulbs and stars all over the background. Be sure to fall off the edges so that it looks like the pattern continues. I used Real Red Ink for the bulbs and shine. The end of the bulb was stamped in Call Me Clover Ink and the stars in Crushed Curry Ink. Then I added this to the card front!

Punched Greeting, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Now for the greeting, I added a strip of Gold Glimmer Paper across the card front. Then I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the “Bright” in Real Red Ink. Next, I stamped the “May Your Christmas Be” in Call Me Clover Ink just above it. For the final step, I stamped the wreath around the greeting in Crushed Curry Ink. All of these  are from the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set. It really helps that these stamps are photopolymer so you can line them up better. Using the 2-1/4″ Circle Punch, I punched out the greeting and added it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals!!!

October 2018 Paper Pumpkin!!!

Posted on

I got behind and just finished my October 2018 Paper Pumpkin last week! This kit was super easy and there was SOOOOO much goodie. I even made 5 extra cards and still have more. That is just one of the awesome things about Paper Pumpkin; how much stuff comes in 1 kit! Sign up for the December Kit here!!!

October 2018 Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Aren’t these cards beautiful?? I love those little feathers!! The colors are stunning together too. I don’t know that I would have added  in that pop of blue and purple but it looks amazing!!! The kit made these 8 cards and the purple (top) cards actually have that delicate overlay and then it flips open! Super cool!

Orange Feather Card, www.LaurasStampPad.com

The envelopes for these cards are super cute too. The inside has a patterned liner that matches the greeting tag and then there is the little label on the front! I’ll be honest and say that I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen for the feathers rather than adding the Mini Glue Dots provided in the kit. I thought it went a little faster…maybe?

Purple Feather Cards, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Again, I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen for adding those leaves to the Cajun Craze label. Another handy dandy tool I used was the Take Your Pick Tool! It made popping those sequins on super easy. I’m loving that tool more and more each time I use it!!

Paper Pumpkin Alternatives, www.LaurasStampPad.com

There were TONS of feathers left over so I created these 2 cards using the same concept as the ones above. All I did was create Crumb Cake card bases. Simple and super cute!

Paper Pumpkin Extras, www.LaurasStampPad.comI thought I would mix it up a bit so I created these with Whisper White card bases and a layer of Night of Navy. This way I didn’t have to add  a white piece in the middle of a Night of Navy base since it’s hard to see your writing in there. I used up all of the ribbon but still have the twine left. That makes 5 cards created from the extras but wait there’s more…..

Paper Pumpkin Leftover Feathers, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I still have all of these feathers and labels left over. There are at least 5 more cards to be made there. That’s a lot of goodie in one box which makes it so worth the $20 price. Do you love Paper Pumpkin? Let me know in the comments below! Not a subscriber yet?? Try it out by clicking here. You can do one month and see if you like it and then continue on.

Orlando Day 2 Recap!!!

Today, I’m sharing the Orlando Day 2 Recap!!! There was a lot more stamping, seeing new products, and winning fabulous stuff on this day!!!

Orlando Day 2 Recap, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Oh my goodness was I blown away by some of these stamping projects. Shelli’s watercoloring and layering is so amazing and I can only hope to color like that. I did try to take notes on how she does it. I have lots of practice to do! 🙂 There are lots of great masculine sets coming soon and we all know I struggle with man cards. Flowers, flowers, and more flowers make my heart happy!!!

Fabulous Friends Team, www.LaurasStampPad.com

While there is a lot of stamping going on, there is also a lot of chatting, meeting new people, snapping photos, and so much more! The people make this even more fabulous! I tried taking pictures with those in my Fabulous Friends Team, LovenStampfuls Team, and ImPECKable Stampers Team. Of course, I got pictures with others too! Meeting new people from all over the world is just amazing. The green ears were for all of our team so we could find each other in the sea of 6000 people. The bottom right photo is me and the 6 other ladies in our team that earned the Greek Isles Trip and we got to walk across stage together. It was AMAZING!!!

If you would like to see all the goodies we got, check out the video below or click here! Be sure to give the video a thumbs up if you liked it and don’t forget to subscribe if you are new. Orlando Day 1 Recap!!!

Posted on

We made it home and it’s snowing…..so not cool!!! I am missing Orlando weather already. Here is our Orlando Day 1 Recap!!! We went to Epcot courtesy of Stampin’ Up and it was amazing!!!!

Orlando Day 1 Recap, www.LaurasStampPad.com

It was super magical and so easy! Parking was a breeze. There was a tram that took us right to the entrance and then it was like we had the whole world in front of us. I remember looking at Brad and saying why does it seem everyone knows where they are going and we are like oh my what do we do first. We headed around the world looking at everything and smashing pennies. We got a total of 19 smashed pennies so of course I had to buy a Disney Penny Passport. Rapunzel and Flynn chatted with us and we got their autograph! Claire did so well and enjoyed looking at everything and everyone. It was HOT like upper 80’s and real feel of mid 90’s! I was loving it!!!

Stampin’ Up released the NEW Occasions Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure to all of us. AMAZING!!! My favorite Sale-A-Bration item already is that amazing ribbon. There are 5 spools of the most beautiful spring colors. Butterflies and gingham are hot hot hot too! Check back tomorrow for more samples, ideas, and goodies. I have millions of photos to sort through and all kinds of things!

Timeless Tidings Project Kit!!!

Posted on

Happy Thursday!!! Today, I’m sharing the Timeless Tidings Project Kit and let me tell you it is amazing!!! At first glace, I was like oh wow that’s pretty. It’s also amazing to get 20 cards in the kit. Then I opened it up and loved all the gold trims and pretty envelopes and printed pieces. Now I’m even more in love!!

Timeless Tidings Project Kit, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Look at these beauties!!!! Aren’t they amazing? Those gold trim envelopes with stripes on the inside are super fun too!!! The other bonus that I was SUPER impressed was how simple these cards were. I honestly did 1 of each of these 4 while watching Claire (5 months old) in less than 30 minutes. That blew me away!

Poinsettia, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This one is my favorite! I love the big flower and little gold scallop. When looking at the card base, there is a black V along the card and this is for lining up the gold scallop trim. It makes layering super simple and easy. No worries about putting the gold trim up to high or low. I will say that the greeting is pretty TIGHT on that banner so be careful!

Evergreen Trees, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This one is my second favorite and honestly it would make a fabulous masculine birthday card too! Again, this card had a line to show where the gold trim. The gold trim for this one is the one with the little star on it. The instructions didn’t mention using the star but I added it to the one tree because why not. Stampin’ Up only added the star so you could differentiate which trim is used for which card. How perfect!!!! 🙂

Holly Berries, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I love the gold banner layered behind the greeting on this card. Simply layer each piece together for a fabulous look and add some gold rhinestones all over. Simple and fabulous!

Gold Trim, www.LaurasStampPad.com

So for this card, I actually popped up the holly piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Since the greeting goes over the top and I didn’t want it be double popped so I only added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the far right side and then regular Snail to the left side. This made it nice and smooth!

Which one is your favorite??? Let me know in the comments below! Click the links below to snag this kit for yourself!!!
