Happy Tuesday!!! Technique Tuesday is back!!!! I’m sharing this Fun Fold Valentine’s Day card for you to recreate in time to give out this Valentine’s Day!

Monday Mail!!!

Happy Monday!!! I have decided I want to send out more cards just because. I would like to tell others I’m thinking of them or happy for them. We all love happy mail, right?? So today, I’m sharing some Monday Mail that I sent out just because!

This card I created for a special someone who recently earned a trip through her work. I’m so happy for her and the hard work she has put in. The Tropical Oasis Suite is perfect for creating this card for her. I couldn’t wait! I whipped up this card quickly so I could get it out!

Starting with a Daffodil Delight card base, I layered on Lovely Lipstick (4″ x 5-1/4″) and a piece of the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper (3-3/4″ x 5″). I love these bright colors so much! They make me so happy. For the greeting, I used the Thanks For The Laughs Stamp Set. The greetings in this set are just perfect for fun cards like this. It’s perfect!!!!

After stamping the greeting in Lovely Lipstick Ink, I punched it out with the Label Me Lovely Punch. Then I punched out another one in Lovely Lipstick cardstock. I trimmed off the top and bottom of the white greeting so it would layer perfectly. Next, I took the Braided Burlap Trim and frayed the ends a bit. Securing it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals behind the greeting!

For the inside of the card, I added the coordinating greeting from the Thanks for the Laughs Stamp Set! I love it!!!

Valentine’s Day Treats!!!

Valentine’s Day is 1 month away so let’s get started on creating hand made goodies for those we love!!! They always say the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach. These Valentine’s Day Treats do just that. These are food and oven safe so a brownie or cookie would work perfectly!

Aren’t these little things adorable?? Little red heart shaped tins to fit just about anything. Chocolates, cookies, brownies, jewelry, conversation hearts, M&Ms and so much more fit in these tins.

Decorating these is super simple with the amazing products in the From My Heart Suite in the new mini catalog! December 2019 Paper Pumpkin!

This was my favorite Paper Pumpkin kit in awhile. I loved the colors and patterns. The best part of all was that the December 2019 Paper Pumpkin included 12 cards for all occasions! I was able to stock up on the ones I need the most.

So of course my favorite card is this floral one. You all know I love floral prints. The foil images were stickers which made this kit quick and simple. No crazy adhesive or glue needed. Just stick and go! This time of year, it was perfect to just create and get something done fast!

I struggle with masculine cards so I had to make these all birthday ones so I could bulk up my stash for the year. Haha These will last a month, maybe 2 with my big family. 🙂 Again, quick and simple with the stickers and yet a stunning look with that foil shine!

This one was probably the “hardest” if you want to call it that. Getting the spacing of the flowers correct so that the greeting fit in the middle was maybe a bit tricky. You can see each card has different spacing. You really have to look to see it though. This kit was just so much fun and quick!

I can’t wait to see the January kit so I can do my Valentine treats with it. Always shooting for Auntie of the year with my nieces and nephews! 🙂

Dainty Note Cards!!!

Sometimes you need just a little card to toss in with a gift or an item you are mailing out or to sneak on the desk of a co-worker! The dainty note cards in the Best Dressed Suite are PERFECT for that!!!

These little notecards have a splash of watercolor on them so they are a perfect base card. You can go elegant, playful, masculine, or feminine! It’s perfect.

I used the Thoughtful Blooms Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set for all of these cards and it was super fun to mix and match the flower patterns. There is also a coordinating Sale-A-Bration Small Bloom Punch! Check out the other cards for even more fun flower patterns!

The little flowers in the background were stamped off once before stamping them on the card front. Then I stamped them a third time on the card for 2 lighter shades of Grapefruit Grove. I really love how you can get various shades from 1 ink pad.

Each of the card, I finished off with a few jewels. I used Glitter Enamel Dots for this one here. The Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots were used on the Grapefruit Grove card. The Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems were used on the first card! It’s so fun to mix and match!

Girls Night Out!!!

Today is my Girls Night Out Event showcasing the New Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration goodies!!! I have this event 2 times a year and it’s always a good time!!! Even though it is called Girls NIGHT out, I have a morning session (10 a.m.) and an evening session (6:30 p.m.)! After all sometimes we don’t like to go out after it gets dark! 🙂

Yesterday, Claire and I made cupcakes for this special occasion! Cupcakes are my favorite so any chance I can get to make them, I go for it! Claire has recently taken up a love for baking with me too! She now LOVES eggs. I’m not sure why but we can’t open the fridge without her wanting to pull them out and play with them. Cupcakes are made and quality testing was done. We are all set!!!

I am really looking forward to stamping and chatting about all of the new products as well as catching up with everyone on how their holidays were. Here’s to a wonderful day!!!

Birthday Sparkles!!!

Happy Monday! Happy back to normal….or at least I’m hoping! I’m a very routine girl so I’m ready to get back at it. Although I did really enjoy the down time! I thought I would start off with some birthday sparkles today. After all who doesn’t love bling and we all celebrate birthdays!!!

This card is actually sort of a mini card. It still fits into a regular envelope but it’s 4″ x 4-1-1/4″. I cut the cardstock at 4-1/4″ (in half) and then at 8″ to fold in half. Something a little different!!!

My card base is Bermuda Bay and I layered on a piece (3-1/4″ x 4″) of the Lily Impressions Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next, I took a piece of Whisper White (3″ x 3-3/4″) and stamped the cake in Melon Mambo Ink. The cake is from the Happy Birthday to You Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set. Right after stamping, I took the Wink of Stella Pen and colored over the flowers. This makes the ink bleed just a bit while adding the perfect amount of sparkle!

I love the perfect hint of pink and shimmer! After coloring this, I layered it onto the card front and added a few Champagne Rhinestones. You can also use some of the Peacock Rhinestones for different color options! I love them all!

For the inside of the card, I stamped the greeting from the same set in the center and then did the top corner of the cake stamp in the bottom right corner. This gives the perfect flower coordination to the inside of the card. Of course, I colored it with some Wink of Stella too!

Tropical Oasis Designer Paper!!!

Christmas is over and I’m ready for Spring…..or a Tropical Oasis would work!!! I guess since there is nothing in the plans, I’ll just stare at this paper and dream! 🙂 Check it out!!!

Yum Yum Yummy!!! This paper makes me happy! The tropical flowers are stunning and just scream warm weather. If you are just starting to follow me, you must know I love Spring and Summer. Warmer weather and sunshine is my jam. I don’t live near the beach so some of the images feel a little off to me but I can always use the other side. We are going to Hawaii in July so they can be used to scrapbook that trip or for cards then! By the way, send me any traveling tips for Hawaii. I need them all! 🙂
