Hearts & Flowers!!!

Posted on

Happy Wednesday!!! Happy February!!! While this post isn’t all about Valentine’s Day, it is all about hearts & flowers!!!

Hearts & Flowers, www.LaurasStampPad.com

The greeting includes the hearts and the image includes the flowers! The card is filled with love to share with someone special! (PS: Send the cards you make to share the love. Don’t hoard them all to yourself.) Also, I have to give a shout out to Monica Giberti for the inspiration for this card! Thank you, Monica! I love it!

This one I started with a Melon Mambo card base and stamped the “waves” on the background in Melon Mambo Ink. This is from the Lovely Lily Pad Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set. Be sure to off set the stamped images so it doesn’t look like the same image up and down but rather a random look. Next, I layered a piece of the Lily Pad Impressions Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper onto some Garden Green cardstock. I placed this in the center of the card base.

For the focal point of the flower, I punched out a 2-1/4″ Whisper White Circle and placed it on the right side. Then using the Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set and coordinating Lily Pad Dies, I stamped and die cut the image. I used Melon Mambo Ink for the outline and then flipped the stamp over and inked it in Flirty Flamingo! I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere this to the card front! The greeting is on a 1″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock. This greeting is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set in the 2020 Mini Catalog. I love this greeting! To finish it all off, I added a few Champagne Rhinestones for some texture and bling!

Lily Pad Impression, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the inside, I stamped the lily in the corner! It’s perfect and adds a little fun to the inside! I just love the colors of this card and the fact that the Stamp, Dies, and Designer Paper are all items that you can earn for FREE!!!! Woot Woot! I love Sale-A-Bration.

Getting a Crisp Image!!!

Posted on

Do you hate it when you stamp down an image and it doesn’t come out right? Of course you do. It’s frustrating and annoying….at least for me! When doing multiple stamping, I use the Stamparatus. When I’m just stamping a few times though I don’t want to get that out. For larger stamps or solid image stamps, the trick is the Stampin’ Pierce Mat.

Getting a Crisp Image Stamped, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This handy tool offers a nice even pressure on the image giving you that crisp image. It seems large stamps can be hard to achieve a smooth look. The stamp doesn’t touch the paper in spots or the pressure is not enough. The foam in the Stampin’ Pierce Mat takes care of that for you. It gives that even pressure and a smooth stamped image.

I thought this was a great time to share this as one of Laura’s Quick Tips when I needed to get out my Stampin’ Pierce Mat for the January 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit. The image in the set is a large clear block D image and the first time I stamped all of the ink didn’t touch the paper. I got out the mat and had no problems after that. Perfect image every time. Sign up for the February Paper Pumpkin Kit to join in the fun by clicking here.

January 2020 Paper Pumpkin!

Posted on

I’m BACK!!! I actually got my Paper Pumpkin complete in the month! I think it’s been like 2-3 months since I’ve gotten it done like that. So without further ado….here is the January 2020 Paper Pumpkin!!!

January 2020 Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Look at all of these goodies! This kit was for a sure a nice haul! There are 20 little treat bags with tags AND 10 mini cards and envelopes. I still had leftover goodies too. I love the colors because I think they go well for Valentine’s Day but also Spring. Those pastels are fabulous!

Let's Bee Friends, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I think that these bags are super fabulous because the mint print on them is actually shiny foil AND it’s on the front and back. It’s a super fabulous touch and again perfect from now till Spring! The little tags were super easy to assemble. I would say tying them on was probably the hardest!

Mini Heart Cards, www.LaurasStampPad.com

These mini cards are super cute and I even stamped on the envelopes with some Highland Heather Ink. It’s the perfect finishing touch! Another tip is that I used the Stampin’ Pierce Mat for the background image on the cards. This gives a nice smooth stamped image each time with such a large stamp. Stay tuned tomorrow to see this in action! I’ll admit I’m not a huge fan of mini cards but I’ll use them around Valentine’s Day or drop them in an order or something. You could always cut them up and place it on a full sized card base too! There are lots of possibilities with the January 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit!

Join in the fun and get the February Paper Pumpkin Kit with me. It will be 9 full sized cards and it coordinates with the Happy Birthday to You Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set which is a cake. I like cake so I’m excited! Click here to join now! You can cancel at any time or skip a month at any time. You can also purchase PrePaid Subscriptions and earn Sale-A-Bration Freebies! Talking is Priceless!!!

Posted on

Happy Monday everyone!!! If you know me even for a second, you will find out I’m loud. I’m a talker and I’m a bit crazy! Aren’t we all a bit crazy though?!?!? Today, I’m going to focus on the second one though. Talking is priceless!!!

Talking is priceless, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This greeting speaks to me heart and soul! A chat with a friend to forget about the chaos in your life. Talking over something that is bothering you to help get it off your chest. Telling stories of past times to laugh and cry over the wonderful memories. It’s all so fabulous!

I started this card with a Blackberry Bliss card base. Next, I layered some Coastal Cabana and Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper. The Lily Impressions Paper is one of the Sale-A-Bration FREE items and I highly recommend it. It’s so beautiful! For the greeting, I used the Thanks For The Laughs Stamp Set from the 2020 Mini Catalog! I stamped it in Blackberry Bliss on a scrap of white. The banner tips were created with the Banner Triple Punch. I do recommend punching first so that you don’t end up punching off your greeting! To finish it off, I wrapped a few loops of Bermuda Bay Baker’s Twine around my fingers and laid it on the back of the greeting. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I secured it down and placed it on the card front!

Thank You For The Laughs, www.LaurasStampPad.com

On the inside of the card, I added a layer of Whisper White (4″ x 5-1/4″) and stamped the coordinating greeting on the bottom. On the left, I added a little leftover piece of the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper (using the back side of the paper this time). It’s so fabulous and perfect for anyone that you talk too! After all, talking is priceless!

I just love Sale-A-Bration time and getting free stuff! The Baker’s Twine is also a Sale-A-Bration freebie. Buy the stuff you love and get more stuff you love for FREE! Woot Woot! Check out the supplies listed below to recreate this card!

New Year’s Resolution??

Posted on

Do you have a New Year’s Resolution? Are you still going strong? I usually have one but not really this year. Sure I have goals for the year and lists of lists but that’s normal for every day/week/month/year for me. One of the things I like to do every January though is re-ink all of the ink pads!

New Year's Resolution, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Probably because I’m an OCD freak and like to do everything together or it will mess up the universe…told you I’m crazy! I like to re-ink all of my ink pads at the same time so I know they are all fresh and ready to go as of X date (aka January). Sure some of them might not need a lot or any ink but checking and inking helps keep the pads fresh and ready to go. I do re-ink pads other times throughout the year after using them a lot or to fix a color stain or something.

So gather all of your ink pads and ink refills and let’s reink all of them together now! If you don’t have the ink refills, click here to get them!

Sale-A-Bration is going on right now. That means for every $50 you spend (increments of $50) you will earn a FREE item of your choice from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. Now is a great time to stock up on ink refills, cardstock, envelopes, adhesive, and of course all those items on your wish list. If you order is over $150, you will earn Free stuff as a Hostess. Reach $300 and you will also get the exclusive Ladybug Stamp Set for FREE on top of everything else! How amazing is that?!?!?! Start shopping now!

But wait….there is more! As a customer of mine, there are special perks! For every $40 you spend, you will be earning Laura’s Loyal Stampers Stickers. After 10 stickers, you get a $40 gift certificate from me! Hello Shopping Spree! You will also get the Free Stamp Set of the Month when you order $75 or more in a month! Woot Woot! It’s great to be a stamper with me!

Check out the video below or click here to see tips for re-inking your ink pads! Check off that New Year’s Resolution to keep on task and organized! 🙂 Be sure to give the video a thumbs up if you liked it and don’t forget to subscribe if you are new. Copper & Navy!!!

Posted on

Oh my goodness, Copper and Navy looks so amazing together and I love it!!! Check out this fun card I created with the Heartfelt Bundle. No red and pink and no Valentine’s Day! The Heartfelt Stamp Set isn’t just for Valentine’s Day! Try it out!

Copper & Navy, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card is perfect for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, or just because. The texture and layers are amazing too!

I started with a Night of Navy card base. Next, I took a piece of Very Vanilla measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″ and stamped the greeting in the right corner. This greeting is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set in the 2020 Mini Catalog! This set has a greeting for everything which I LOVE!!! Then, I took a piece of Copper Foil Paper and ran it through the Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder. This gives that perfect touch of texture. This I added to the left side of the card.

For the hearts, I used the Heartfelt Stamp Set and coordinating Heart Punches. I stamped the big one onto Very Vanilla scrap cardstock and punched it out. Then I set it on the card about where I wanted it, moved it over slightly and stamped the smaller heart from the set. I also stamped off once with the smaller heart for a fun shadow effect. Then I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the big heart overlapping!

Heartfelt Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the inside of the card, I added a piece of Very Vanilla (4″ x 5-1/4″) and stamped some hearts in the corners with Night of Navy Ink. This is the perfect decoration to pull it all together. You can always stamp a few hearts on the envelope as well!

Check out the supplies below to recreate this fun Copper and Navy card! Also, you can check out more samples using the Heartfelt Bundle by clicking here and here!
