Peaceful Poppy Elements!!!

Want to get the beautiful poppy look without buying the stamp set?? Check out these Peaceful Poppy Elements and the beautiful Peaceful Poppy Designer Series Paper!!!

Painted Poppy Elements, www.LaurasStampPad.com

All I did was stamp a greeting and layer it all together. Isn’t it beautiful?!?!? It was super simple too! 🙂

I started with a Poppy Parade card base. Next, I layered a piece of Peaceful Poppy Designer Series Paper (3-3/4″ x 5″) onto Whisper White (4″ x 5-1/4″). Next, I tied some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding around it and into a double knot. Then I tied the bow. This makes the ribbon nice and tight and you can take your time with creating the bow. Then I added these layers to the card base!

Friendship is a blessing, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the greeting, I die cut out these fabulous scallop dotted rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The greeting is from the coordinating So Sentimental Stamp Set. Bundle & Save 10% when you purchase these together! Then I added the little Peaceful Poppy Elements to the left hand side. The greeting was added to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals for a little bit of texture. To finish it off, I added a few Peaceful Poppy Sequins with the Fine Tip Glue Pen! Of course a little designer paper for the inside really brings it all together!

This card is so simple and yet feels so amazing. Sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most in our lives and this card is that. Check out this amazing painted poppies card!

Painted Poppies, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card was made with the Note Cards & Envelopes Pack. I simply stamped the flowers and greeting in Memento Black Ink. Next, I colored in the flowers with Stampin’ Blends. Then I finished it off with some Crushed Curry Seam Binding tied around the entire card front. It’s that easy!!!

I used the Painted Poppies Stamp Set for the flowers and the greeting is from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set. This is even a card that you could leave off the greeting completely or wait till you need the card and then stamp one. It’s just the classic card! Check out this card which is another great classic card option!

Coloring with Stampin' Blends, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Wonderful Woven Look!!!

Posted on

Happy Monday!!! I hope you all had a great weekend!!! Family time over here so it was amazing!!! 🙂 Today, I’m sharing this fun card with a wonderful woven look using the Coastal Weave Embossing Folder!!!

Wonderful woven look, www.LaurasStampPad.com

They call it Coastal Weave. What do you think it look likes? We had this discussion at class. Some said a basket or maybe chevron. Let me know in the comments what you think!

I got this card idea from the amazing, Sandy Carlson. It was so fabulous I just had to recreate it!!! I started with a Bermuda Bay card base. Next, I took another piece of Bermuda Bay (4″ x 5-1/4″) and embossed it with the Coastal Weave Embossing Folder. Then I added a piece of the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper to the lower half of the embossed piece and added some Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon along the seam. I secured the ends of the ribbon the back side with adhesive!

Coastal Weave Embossing Folder, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Then for the greeting, I used the Layering Circles Framelits for each layer. Punches also work great for the smooth circles! Next, I stamped the greeting from Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink. I added the greeting with Stampin’ Dimensionals for some texture on the card but also for a smooth look over the ribbon and embossing!

Blue Balloons, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Of course, I had to decorate the inside too! I used the Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set for the balloons. To get that variation in color, I simply inked it up in Bermuda Bay and stamped it 3 times without ever going back to the ink. It’s fabulous!!!

Don’t forget that the Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set is the free set of the month for orders of $75 or more. This is an exclusive offer through me! Sale-A-Bration is also still going on so you get a free Sale-A-Bration item for every $50 spent! Woot Woot! All kinds of free stuff! Check out the supplies below so you can get this wonderful woven look! For more ideas using this stamp set, click here and here!

Layering Label Me Lovely!!!

Posted on

Try saying that 5 times fast!!! Layering Label Me Lovely. LOL I just love punches and the new Label Me Lovely Punch is my new favorite!!!! Check out today’s Laura’s Quick Tips!

Layering Label Me Lovely, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Adding a greeting on a punched piece really can help make it POP. Also, if you mess up the greeting, you can just punch it again and not mess up your project! Double Bonus!!!

If you have stamp the greeting or focal point onto Whisper White and the card base is all Whisper White, it doesn’t POP! This is why layering is needed. With just this 1 punch, you can do both! Simply cut the label in half and add some to the top and bottom (or sides). With the Label Me Lovely Punch, you can also trim off some of the “bumps” for a completely different look!

Check out all of the different looks with the layering Label Me Lovely Punch in the video below or click here! Be sure to give the video a thumbs up if you liked it and don’t forget to subscribe if you are new. Fields of Lavender!!!

Posted on

Soft Spring breeze! Warm sun kissing your face! Birds chipping sweetly! Are you feeling amazing and relaxed?? I know I am and that’s why this fields of lavender card makes me so happy!!!

Fields of Lavender, www.LaurasStampPad.com

While this card is super simple, it’s just so amazing! The stamp set is called Beautiful Moments and there are 3 images with people in them as well as a few decorative images and greetings! It’s perfect! I’m in love!

I started with a Whisper White card base and stamped the greeting in Basic Gray in the lower right corner! Next, I added a strip of Highlight Heather that I ran through the Curls & Swirls Embossing Folder. Then for the focal point, I die cut out a Stitched Rectangle! This added a little more texture to the card!

Beautiful Moments Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I stamped this image in Basic Gray because I like that softer look! Then using Stampin’ Blends, I colored everything in!!! You could always use different colors. Heck, I don’t even know if that is lavender but that’s what I’m going with! Is it lavender? Let me know in the comments below!

Stampin' Blends Markers, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the inside of the card, I added a little sprig of lavender!!! I feel like I could make lots of these with various greetings because it’s just so pretty! If you would like to recreate this fields of lavender card, check out the supply list below!

Kiss the Ink Pad!!!

Posted on

Today’s Technique Tuesday is all about inking up a stamp! This has come up a lot lately in my classes and I thought of a fabulous way to explain it so here it goes! Kiss the Ink Pad….don’t give it CPR!

Kiss the ink pad, www.LaurasStampPad.com

You will notice in the ink pad above that there are lighter spots all over. This happens when you press too hard with the stamp into the ink pad. Pressing harder does not give you more ink. In fact, it’s the exact opposite. It presses all the ink to the side and leaves you with very little ink on the stamp. So next time you are stamping, remember to lightly kiss the ink pad for nice full coverage ink color! No need to press on it like you are doing CPR!

Check out the full tutorial to just kiss the ink pad in the video below or click here! Be sure to give the video a thumbs up if you liked it and don’t forget to subscribe if you are new. Get Your Party Hat!!!

Happy Monday!!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend because it’s Monday and it’s a fresh week! Let’s start it off right! Get your party hat on and let’s make this week amazing!!!

Get Your Party Hat, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I have been having a lot of fun with the Birthday Bonanza Suite. So much actually that the Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set is the Free Stamp Set of the Month for a $75 order or more! Woot Woot!!!

For this card, I went super simple. I started with a Whisper White card base measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″. The fold of the card base is on the left. Next, I cut some of the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper into a 4″ x 2″ strip. This even measurement means you can get 18 of these cards from 1 sheet of designer paper! Then I layered this piece onto some Bermuda Bay and ripped the right side for some texture. I added this to the left side of the card and tied some Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon around it (to the inside of the card).

Pom Pom Party Hat, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the greeting, I punched out a Whisper White label using the Label Me Lovely Punch. Next, I stamped the greeting in Memento Black and the party hat in Bermuda Bay Ink. These images are from the Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set. Then I punched out another label in Daffodil Delight and cut it in half. Adding one half to the top and another top the bottom, it makes the perfect layered look with the same punch! I added the greeting to the card front. Then to finish it off, I added a little pom pom with the Fine Tip Glue Pen!

Birthday Bonanza, www. LaurasStampPad.com

Of course, I had to put a little decor on the inside too! These images are from the same Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set! It’s perfect for a little kid’s birthday or even a kid at heart! 🙂
