February is the 3rd month of my New Online Class option for those of you to stamp with me near and far! I LOVE IT!!! It’s been so much fun thus far and I am giddy excited about what I have planned for the upcoming months! For February, I have the Heart & Home Online Class and here is a sneak peak!

Heart & Home Online Class, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This is my favorite card in the February Class! There is just something about that blue and white pattern that I LOVE!!!! I also love those antique blue and white dishes. It’s just classic and stunning! My other favorite part about this card is the greeting! I inked up the flower image and then stamped off twice and then stamped it over the greeting! It’s subtle and amazing! I love it!

Blessings of Home Stampin' Up Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

The inside greeting for this card from the Blessings of Home Stamp Set melts my heart! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! This year I have really tried to make a point in telling people I love their shirt or I enjoyed our visit or you really mean a lot to me. This card is perfect!!! I urge you all to do the same. It makes other smile as well as makes you feel warm and fuzzy! (And right now with a winter storm coming for us, I need warm and fuzzy!)

I still have kits available for the February Heart & Home Online Class so sign up for your kit now so you can stamp along with me!!! You can also purchase the PDF Tutorial so you can cut all the pieces and stamp these SIX cards! That’s the other exciting thing about the February Class….I just couldn’t stop at 5 so there is a 6th bonus card!!! 🙂

Not sure you are into the kit this month, you can still join in the fun and watch me create these cards LIVE on Facebook (and then posted to YouTube) on Friday, February 11th at 7:30 p.m. CT!!! It’s free for anyone to join in and chat with me while I stamp and offer techniques and a fun evening!

January 2022 Paper Pumpkin!!!

Posted on

I am ON IT this month! I already have my January 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit complete! It was super fun and quick I thought! I also loved that it was all about hearts and love but not specifically Valentine’s Day! I liked it much more than I thought I would and I love Valentine’s Day!

January 2022 Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I LOVE these cards soooo much more than I thought! They were super fun to make and quickly came together! I can’t wait to send them out! There is also an Add On Kit which has treat boxes in it and coordinates with this kit! I can’t wait for those to arrive so I can make Valentine’s’ Day Treats!

Valentine's Day Card Kit, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I love the pink set the best because well….PINK! These cards are 3 hearts all together and it’s super cute! There is gold foil for an extra bling factor. The back side is white and empty so you can always write your message there! The pearl sequins really pop and look stunning too! I found that I loved the arrow at an angle more than straight across like the instructions!

The vanilla cards used the greeting “love you more” and at first I thought I didn’t care for that. In the end, I did all 5 cards with it because I loved the look and after all tis the season to spread the love so why not! I also stamped the envelopes with the giant XOXO which is super cute and would be fun on any greeting card envelope! I really just loved this kit so much!

If you would like to sign up for Paper Pumpkin and join in the fun of creativity, click here! It’s the perfect card kit to do during these winter months or while watching the Winter Olympics!!!! I’m super excited about those as you can tell in my video creating these projects here!!!!

Awesome Otter!!!

Posted on

You all know I LOVE flowers when it comes to stamping. What about animals?!? Are you a big fan or not? I do thing the Awesome Otter Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set is pretty cute and it’s FREE with a $50 order!

Awesome Otter Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Come on, you can’t tell me that that face isn’t adorable!!!! And the Party Hat!!! I love it! I also will say that I don’t think this card is specific to really little kids either! What do you think?! Let me know in the comments below! I was inspired to create this card because of a swap card I received from Laura Mulligan so shout out to her! Thank you!

For this card, I started with a Thick Basic White card base and stamped the party hat all over on the top in Pool Party Ink. Next, I added a strip of the Sunshine & Rainbows Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper. Then I stamped the greeting on the corner of a strip of Basic White, added more Designer Paper and added it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up Stampin' Blends, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the focal point, I die cut some of the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Paper. You can use whichever size circle you would like. Then I stamped the adorable otter onto a piece of Basic White in Memento Black Ink. After coloring him with Stampin’ Blends, I used that same circle die and cut him out. This gives that same rounded look on the bottom. For the top half, I fussy cut out the otter and layered it onto the designer paper circle! For the party hat, I simply stamped it onto some of the designer paper in Memento Ink and then fussy cut it out! This circle was then added to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals!

Sunshine& Rainbows & Awesome Otter Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper, www.LaurasStampPad.com

If you need just a general #happymail card, you can always change up the greeting to this one! OH and don’t forget the final touch of Iridescent Rhinestones for some bling!

If you would like to recreate these cute cards using the Awesome Otter Stamp Set, click on the supplies listed below! Don’t forget it is Sale-A-Bration time till the end of February so you can earn FREE stuff for every $50 you spend! Woot Woot!

Senior Years!!!

Posted on

I make a LOT of birthday cards for those of all ages and while I love flowers and nature, I thought I would mix it up a little. The Senior Years Stamp Set is super cute and has great greetings for birthday and even retirement greetings!

Senior Years Stampin Up Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

You might remember that this look is similar to those I posted on Tuesday! That is because it is the exact same layout and dimensions just with a different stamp set. I used the Senior Years Stamp Set and colored in with Stampin’ Blends!

MAJOR QUESTION: When making these cards, I couldn’t help but feel like I needed to color the person as if they were the recipient getting the card. Now that is in no way correct because not everyone has this hair cut or would wear a purple dress. Then I feel like will the person getting this card think, does she think that looks like me?!?!? Or will they just think this is a cute card?!?!? Let me know in the comment below!

Candles on Your Cake Homemade Card, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This greeting for the inside of the card is AMAZING! I love it. Honestly as I have gotten older, I have started using the number of candles for both numbers. So rather than adding 31 candles to a cake, I would add 3 in a row and then 1 spaced over from that to represent 31. After all 31 candles could create a cake going up in flames and that would be a tragedy. LOL

Happy Birthday Old Man, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Here is the guy version of this card! I just had so much fun with this card style and getting masculine birthday card, feminine birthday cards and then all those beautiful butterfly cards out of it! If you would like to recreate these Senior Years cards, check out the supplies listed below and don’t forget that every $50 earns you a Sale-A-Bration item! Woot Woot!

Simply Marbleous!!!

Posted on

One of the Sale-A-Bration items that you can earn for FREE with a $50 order is the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper! This paper is classic! Perfect for backgrounds, to stamp over the top, and so much more! I create the same card with each sheet from this paper pack just with the different colors.

Simply Marbleous Designer Paper Stampin' Up, www.LaurasStampPad.com

It was super simple to cut all the same pieces and just use the different inks! The colors were easy to pick because I just used the ones listed on the paper pack! Pick your favorite stamp set and greeting and then it’s all about assembly!

The colors I used are Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight, Blushing Bride and
Flirty Flamingo, Bumblebee and So Saffron, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party, and Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather. The card base measures 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Next, I cut the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper first at 4″ and then I cut that 4″ x 6″ piece down to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the card front. With the leftover 4″ x 3/4″ piece I used on the inside of the card as a little decoration to pull it all together! The 2″ x 6″ piece I will use for another project!

Amazing Silhouettes Stampin Up Stamp Set, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the focal point, I cut the coordinating cardstock color into 3-1/4″ x 2-3/4″ pieces. Finally, I cut Basic White measuring 3″ x 2-1/2″ for the front and 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside. Stamp and assemble is all there is left! I used the Amazing Silhouettes Stamp Set for the butterfly and the greetings are from the Special Moments Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set! I stamped the greeting in Basic Gray Ink!

Special Moments Sale-A-Bration Stampin' Up, www.LaurasStampPad.com

These cards could have a large variety of greetings like thinking of you, birthday, sympathy, and hello. The perfect card style to create a stash of cards. There are 48 sheets in the Designer Series Paper Pack. I created 48 cards and still have that 2″ x 6″ strip to create another 48 cards! How amazing is that?!? And the designer paper was FREE with Sale-A-Bration! Check out the supplies listed below to earn your Free Paper and recreate that cards! Also, check back on Thursday for more samples just like this but using a different stamp set!

Rainbows of Happiness!!!

Posted on

I love Rainbows! There is something magical about them and they bring joy after the storm. Claire is our little rainbow baby which makes me love them even more! When the Rainbows of Happiness Set came out, I knew I had to have it! I also super love bright colors too!!!

Rainbows of Happiness Stampin' Up, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card is super cute and I love the colors – Magenta Madness, Bermuda Bay, and Mango Melody! It is also one of the cards in my Online Stamp Class for January! Join us on Facebook where I make this card and 4 others tomorrow evening – January 14th at 7:30 p.m. CT!

Some fun tips for the card are to start with the center rainbow first and then space the top and bottom one after that. Another tip would be to start with the largest arch first that way you know the rest will fit because they are smaller.

The only hard thing about this card is that you have to clean the stamps a few times since the colors are switched up for each rainbow! If you were to make multiples, I suggest stamping all of the one size/color on each piece and then switching rather than doing one at a time.

Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Paper, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the inside of the card, I added a strip of the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper which is one of the Sale-A-Bration items that you can earn for FREE with a $50 order! Click the items listed below so you can create this Rainbows of Happiness Card!

Join in tomorrow evening to watch me create this card as well as 4 others using the Rainbow Suite from the New January to June Mini Catalog! You can also purchase the PDF Tutorial for these 5 cards by clicking here!

December 2021 Paper Pumpkin!

Posted on

I have completed the December 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit and it is SUPER CUTE! I love the pun greetings and the cute foods! I think these cards are perfect for silly #happymail for the next month or so!

December 2021 Paper Pumpkin, www.LaurasStampPad.com

There are 3 each of these 3 designs and the coordinating envelopes are adorable too!!! There are so many different greetings to use for each of these as well as inside greetings! I love it!

Homemade greeting card kit, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I think the cherries are my favorite! I love the smiley faces but I thought the sad faces worked well with the greeting – That’s the pits! For this card, I did forget to add the rectangle vellum layer behind the greeting but I think it still looks fabulous! There were 3 extra cherry sprigs so I added those to the inside corner of the cards!

Beginner Card Craft, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This is my 2nd favorite card. I figured since I used the greeting with “bunch” I needed to put more than one banana on the front. This used up all of them so I didn’t decorate the inside of the cards with bananas! I guess I could always stamp them and color them in! I did remember the vellum circle on this card though! It’s really subtle in the photos! Do you like to use vellum for a subtle look or meh!?!? Let me know in the comments below!

Very Punny Cards, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I found these greetings to be super cute but also something I might not use as often. The faces are hilarious though! Also a little tip for you….add adhesive along the thought bubble as close to the edge as possible. Then set it on top of the scallop edge to adhere to the card. Trying to adhere that little scallop die cut alone is super hard but adding it to a bigger piece helps.

Which card from the December 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit did you like the best?!?! Don’t forget that there is still time to sign up for the January Paper Pumpkin Kit – Hugs & Kisses! It is all regular sized cards but a box add-on kit if you need treats! Click here to sign up!
