Birthday Sparkles!!!

Posted on

Happy Monday! Happy back to normal….or at least I’m hoping! I’m a very routine girl so I’m ready to get back at it. Although I did really enjoy the down time! I thought I would start off with some birthday sparkles today. After all who doesn’t love bling and we all celebrate birthdays!!!

Birthday Sparkles, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card is actually sort of a mini card. It still fits into a regular envelope but it’s 4″ x 4-1-1/4″. I cut the cardstock at 4-1/4″ (in half) and then at 8″ to fold in half. Something a little different!!!

My card base is Bermuda Bay and I layered on a piece (3-1/4″ x 4″) of the Lily Impressions Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next, I took a piece of Whisper White (3″ x 3-3/4″) and stamped the cake in Melon Mambo Ink. The cake is from the Happy Birthday to You Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set. Right after stamping, I took the Wink of Stella Pen and colored over the flowers. This makes the ink bleed just a bit while adding the perfect amount of sparkle!

Coloring with Wink of Stella, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I love the perfect hint of pink and shimmer! After coloring this, I layered it onto the card front and added a few Champagne Rhinestones. You can also use some of the Peacock Rhinestones for different color options! I love them all!

Glittered Flowers, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the inside of the card, I stamped the greeting from the same set in the center and then did the top corner of the cake stamp in the bottom right corner. This gives the perfect flower coordination to the inside of the card. Of course, I colored it with some Wink of Stella too!

It Snowed!!!

Posted on

Happy Wednesday! 1 more week till Christmas. I thought since it snowed this is a good card to share with you all! Now I’m chanting, let it melt! 🙂

It Snowed, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This is a quick card that I created with a little bit of stamping and punching. Punching out cardstock that is….I’m not a violent person. 🙂

I started with a Shaded Spruce card base. Next, I stamped the snowflakes from the Snowman Season Stamp Set in Pool Party all over a piece of Whisper White. Before laying it on the card front, I added some of the Let It Snow Designer Paper (2″ x 5-1/4″) across the lower part.

Red Ribbon, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the greeting, I stamped it from the Snowman Season Stamp Set in Real Red Ink. Then using the Timeless Label Punch, I punched it out and added Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back. Before adding it to the card front, I placed a piece of the Real Red Ruched Ribbon down and added the greeting on top. This adds a little bit of texture to the card. Since this ribbon is so wide, tying it would make a large knot of your card so using it this way makes it nice and flat.

You can check out more samples like this by clicking here and here! Also, let me know in the comments below whether you are excited that it snowed or counting down the days till Spring??

Silly Snowman!!!

Happy Monday!!! We are one week closer to Christmas and things seem to be getting crazier. Stamping is my getaway from the chaos and relaxing time of the day! What about you?? Check out this cute silly snowman card I made!

Silly Snowman, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I got this card idea from Laura Milligan and just fell in love. It’s adorable and it’s simple! Thank you, Laura!!! We, Lauras, are pretty awesome! 🙂

I started with a Whisper White card base and added a layer of Real Red (4″ x 5-1/4″). Next, I took a 3″ x 4″ piece of the Let It Snow Designer Paper (stripes) and added it to the upper left corner. Using the 2-1/4″ Circle Punch, I punched another sheet of the designer paper for this adorable snowman. He is already cute, glittered, and ready to go. I layered a Basic Black circle behind him to make it pop a little more.

For the greeting, I stamped it from the Snowman Season Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink. Then using the Banner Triple Punch, I added banner tips to the end. I actually recommend punching first and then stamping so you don’t end up cutting off your stamped greeting. The greeting was added to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I finished it off with some of the Toile Tidings Glittered Enamel Dots. It’s perfect!!!

I hope you like this little silly snowman card as much as me. While the paper is no longer available to purchase. You can create this card if you already got your hands on it over the past few months! Here are some more samples too!

White Washing!!!

Happy Wednesday…..but sort of like a Tuesday! Since the launch of the Year End Closeout was yesterday, I posted about all of that so you didn’t miss out! So that means today I’m sharing the fun Technique “Tuesday”. It is all about White Washing!!!

White Washing, www.LaurasStampPad.com

How fabulous is this magnolia from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set?!?!?! Beautiful! I am loving it so much! I had fun with different color combinations and variations of the White Washing Technique. Simply White Washing like the one above….or adding color like this one!!

Adding Color to White Washing, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Simply adding a little color with a Sponge Dauber takes this technique to a whole new level! I love it so much! Then I thought I would try it on green so that the leaves are already green and I would just do the flower! Here’s that look!

Good Morning Magnolia, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Which one is your favorite?? Let me know in the comments below! Also, if you would like to recreate these fun cards, check out the supply list below!

Cut It Out!!!

Posted on

Happy Monday!!! Today, I wanted to share this adorable simple card that is just perfect for any friend. We are cut out to be friends!!! Blushing (Bride) hehe Cut it out!!! 🙂

Cut It Out, www.LaurasStampPad.com

My puns aren’t funny?? I tried and cracked myself up! It doesn’t take much though! Anyway back to this cute card using the Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper!

I started with a Whisper White card base and layered on some Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper (4″ x 5-1/4″). Next, I added the greeting from the Crafting Forever Stamp Set in Calypso Coral Ink. I used the Everyday Label Punch to punch out the greeting. To give the card some texture, I added a few loops of Whisper White Baker’s Twine to the back of the greeting, securing it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Friend Like You, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Here is another option using that same paper pack and style of card! I did the ribbon a bit different for a fun look! The greeting for this one is from the Love What You Do Stamp Set!

These 2 cards are very similar in style but different looks with the patterns of paper and ribbon! I love when that happens!!! Which do you prefer? Let me know in the comments below!

Christmas Cheer!!!

Posted on

Happy Monday!!! It seems a bit odd to have a post on Christmas Cheer when it’s actually Thanksgiving Week but….. I still love your Thanksgiving but I have to work on my Christmas cards too!!!

Christmas Cheer, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This is one of those quick and simple cards that you can whip up in no time at all. It uses up every inch of your designer series paper too! You can even call it a One Sheet Wonder if you would like!

I started with a card base of Very Vanilla measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″. I like to use this size when wrapping ribbon around my card because it uses less. Going around the card at 4-1/4″ is better than going around it at 5-1/2″. Although I went around it twice so who is really saving ribbon here?!?!?! Next, I cut the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper into 4″ x 4″ squares. This makes 9 squares from one 12″ x 12″ piece of designer paper! Great for making multiples!

Toile Tidings, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Using the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set, I added the greeting in the lower right corner. There are so many greetings in various sizes so it’s perfect to mix and match and have fun! Then I added some ribbon. The card up top uses the Real Red Curly Ribbon and this one here uses the Garden Green Double Stitched Ribbon. Another option is to use the other side of the designer paper which is Garden Green. There are lots of great ways to mix up this card to make it a little different but still use the same products!

Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below! Click the supply list below to get started on your Christmas Cheer cards today!

Golden Goddess!!!

Posted on

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I sure did! My Mom came yesterday and we stamped her Christmas Cards!!! It was so much fun and a good time to catch up! Today, I’m sharing another samples using the Christmastime is Here Suite. Check out this Golden Goddess!!!

Golden Goddess, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This card is just so elegant and beautiful! It would be perfect for a wedding card too!!! All white and gold and so amazing!

I started with a Whisper White card base. Next, I embossed another piece of Whisper White with the Subtle Embossing Folder and added it to the front. Then with yet another piece of Whisper White, I stamped the Christmas Rose in Gold Delicata Ink. Be sure to set it aside a bit to dry completely. I have found sometimes it smears if it isn’t fully dry. Once it is dry, I used the coordinating Roses Dies to die cut the rose and the greeting label. The greeting was also stamped in Gold Delicata!

Golden Rose, www.LaurasStampPad.com

To assemble, I flipped the rose over and added three little loops of the Gold Shimmer Ribbon. This stuff is just stunning! Using the Stampin’ Dimensionals to secure the ribbon and then all over the rest of the rose, I then added it to the card front! The greeting was also added with Stampin’ Dimensionals. You know me and my love for those things. To finish it off, I added a few Gold Glittered Enamel Dots! LOVE!!!!

Don’t forget that these items are while supplies last so click the supplies below to get your today and recreate this beautiful golden goddess card!

Let The Paper Steal The Show!!!

Let the paper steal the show and you have a quick and simple card created in no time at all. Check out this beautiful card using the Christmastime is Here Suite!!! Also, remember these items are while supplies last so click the supplies below to get yours today!

Steal the Show, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I started with a Mossy Meadow card base. Next, I layered on a piece of the Christmastime is Here Designer Paper (3-3/4″ x 5″) onto Soft Sea Foam (4″ x 5-1/4″). Then added those layers to the card front.

For the greeting, I die cut the label using the coordinating Roses Dies and stamped the greeting in Cherry Cobbler Ink. The greeting is from the Christmas Rose Stamp Set. I felt the greeting didn’t pop enough so I layered this onto some Cherry Cobbler cardstock and cut out a little layered look. Since the lines are straight, this wasn’t that hard. To finish it off, I added a little piece of the Gold Shimmer Ribbon to the back, securing it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Christmas Pines, www.LaurasStampPad.com

For the inside of the card, I used images from the Christmas Rose Stamp Set to stamp along the top and bottom. This greenery look is perfect for Christmas time! It was stamped in Mossy Meadow and the greeting in Cherry Cobbler! You could always add some of the greenery to the envelope as well! 🙂 Such a fabulous card that is super quick since you are letting the designer paper do all of the work and steal the show!

Remember to get these beautiful products before they are gone as they are while supplies last! Check out more samples using these products here and here!
