The October 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit was called Noel Greetings! It was a stunning Christmas Card kit which I love! Paper Pumpkin really knows how to prepare you for upcoming holidays in advance! THANK YOU, PAPER PUMPKIN!!! Wondering what Paper Pumpkin is?!?! It is a monthly subscription kit with a craft project and everything needed to create it all in a fabulous box. These kits are typically cards but sometimes include treat boxes, home decor, etc.

This kit came with 2 designs, 5 cards each design! I am not going to lie to you……this kit was HARD and not really my favorite! You will notice in the instructions that there is a lot of stamping. This surprised me a bit since some kits hardly have any but I’m a stamper and that was no problem. The real problem was that we were stamping in a random location in hopes to layer things on top and have that stamped image pop out in the right spot. I struggled with this a lot.
For the card above, I really liked this card! There are a lot more layers and texture than a typical Laura card but I like being pushed outside my comfort zone. I nailed it on the evergreen branches….2 in the upper left and 1 in the lower right. Then I stamped the tree and that was fine. Many of my trees were “floating” but also you could see it as trees up close and trees farther back so it looks good! No complaints there. THEN the instructions had me stamp the dash line kinda sort of diagonal on the right lower side. Ummmm WHAT?! I posted the best card but some of mine had that line way to low and some were up to high and covered by the greeting completely. It’s all good. Just because my card doesn’t look like the original doesn’t mean it is wrong!

Then came the second card in the Noel Greetings Kit. See that little peep of a holly leaf on the left hand side. Yeah, I didn’t get that stamped in the right spot on like any of my cards! So then I just moved forward and gave up on that step. It’s all good. The card is stunning with or without it! I also put my Season’s Greetings lower than the instructions to help with awkward spacing. Again, no one knows what the original looks like and it doesn’t have to match! Made with love, not perfection! And I love it…..even though it was hard and a little frustrating. 🙂
