I just have to share this fun Stair Step Card that I created using the Filled With Fun Bundle. This is still available as an Online Exclusive so be sure to grab it before it is gone!
SUPPLIES & MEASUREMENTS:
- Granny Apple Green Cardstock – 4 ¼” x 9 ½”, scored at 1”, 2”, 3” and 4”
- Basic White Cardstock – 4” x 5 ¼” and 4 ½” x 3 ¼” and 3 ¾” x 2 ½” and scrap for die cutting
- Daffodil Delight Cardstock – 4 ¾” x 3 ½”
- Azure Afternoon Cardstock – 4” x 2 ¾”
- Basic Black, Poppy Parade and Smoky Slate Cardstock – scrap for die cutting
Card Instructions:
Using a ruler and a pencil, place a mark 1 ¾” down from the top on the 1” score line. Place a mark 1” down from the top on the 2” and 3” score line. Cut from the edge straight across to that 1 ¾” mark. Then cut diagonally up to the 1” mark. Next, cut straight across to the next 1” mark. Then cut diagonally up to the 4” score line/top of the card. Zig zag fold these score lines to create a tiered banner look on the left side of the card.
Stamp and decorate each panel as you wish. NOTE: Be sure to stamp your images for the center panel low enough that it won’t peek out from behind the front panel. It’s not a huge deal but you can see in my sample the greeting shows over the presents in the wagon. Adhere each layer to the stair step Granny Apple Green on the “straight across” fold.
