On the 2nd Day of Stamps-Mas!!!

On the 2nd Day of Stamps-Mas, my true love gave to me……Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog!!! I know this is just one amazing place to find inspiration and tools for your stamping and crafting! You can also find some much more inspiration, techniques, and fun on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and HERE on my blog!!!

2nd Day of StampsMas, www.LaurasStampPad.com

I have used the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog and Mini Catalogs for lots of great ideas. Sometimes I copy the card exactly and sometimes I copy the style but change the stamps used. There are many times I see a fabulous sample and think I can re-create with my own flare and it works perfectly. Other times I re-create it and it just isn’t the same! Are you like that as well??

Pinterest is probably my next go-to when looking for ideas. You can check out my Pinterest Boards here. I feel like this is the easiest way to find ideas for specific stamp sets. If you have the Santa’s Sleigh Stamp Set from the Holiday Mini Catalog but aren’t sure how to use it. Just type in Santa’s Sleigh Stampin’ Up into Pinterest and you will get this!!! All these fabulous ideas!!! It also helps with out of the box ideas. Love it!!! You can also search by Holiday Mini Catalog or Sale-A-Bration and see lots of samples with everything. You will get all of the past years of those catalogs as well but it could fun and inspiring!

I’m still getting the hang of Instagram and all the hashtags. You can follow me here! When looking for different things, you can search hashtags like #stampinup or #holidaymini or #handstamped. You could try a lot of different hashtags like crafts, stamping, stamp set names, and so much more!

YouTube is a big favorite of mine when sharing techniques because it is easier for me to describe and show than it is to write it out. You can see all of my Video Tutorials here! When you really want to see how things work or what is included in a kit or how big a product is, go to YouTube and look up the exact name of the kit or Haul videos. When you want to learn a technique, you can check out my Technique Tuesday Playlist. It can be tricky to search for specific techniques as some people name the technique different than others. Just browse around and have fun!!!

Of course, Facebook is another great place to get ideas, see videos with Facebook Live, find events near you, and so much more! You can check out my Facebook Page – StampinAndScrapbookin with Laura Schmidt-Borchert! I have been doing more Facebook Live videos which are fun and quick to share what I’m doing that day or at stamping events! I have also done give-aways and so much more!!! I post samples and tutorials every day as well as have my events on there. Most of my stampers, don’t RSVP through the events page but it is still a great reminder and invitation for those who use Facebook a lot.

Blogs are another great way to find inspiration and ideas! You can find different blogs when looking on other forms of social media, especially Pinterest. When searching through samples, you will see that the samples are linked to a blog. You can always subscribe to the blog so that you get a daily or weekly reminder of the posts when they go up. You can subscribe to my blog by entering your email on the right hand sidebar when looking at my website on a computer or at the bottom of the posts when looking at my blog on a phone!!!

Where do you like to find inspiration for all of your crafting projects? Let me know in the comments below!!! Who are some of your favorites? I could always add to my list! 🙂

Be sure to come back tomorrow for more on the 12 Days of Stamps-Mas. Check out the 1st Day here!

Happy Stampin’

~Laura
