Happy Friday and Happy May 1st everyone!!!! I am pumped for this weekend! I am going to visit my best friend and I’m attending Spring Into Stampin’!!! This is an annual event for demonstrators all around to gather and share ideas, inspiration, stamp and have a good time! I look forward to this event every year. There is nothing better than a weekend with friends and having fun!!! Woot Woot!!! For some sneak peaks, you can follow my Facebook Page as I’ll be posting pictures on there on Saturday!
You all know how I struggle with Man Cards because I just love flowers, pinks, purple, and rhinestones so much! Well even though the All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack says BLOOM in the name, I was able to create this fabulous Man Card with it! I call that a win!!!! These two patterns came from different pieces in the stack and I cut them 3/4″ wide and 4-1/4″ long. Since the paper is 4-1/2″ x 6-1/2″, I was able to get 8 strips at this size and then get 2 strips measuring 1/2″ x 4-1/4″! Love it!!! I started with a Whisper White card base measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″ and started with the bottom strip flush with the bottom and then placed the other two above it. Then I went to the top and placed the top piece flush with the top and then placed the other two below it. I stamped the greeting from Remembering Your Birthday in Island Indigo! To finish it off, I added some Linen Thread which was wrapped around twice and tied into a knot! My husband says this is the only ribbon that can be used and still call it a Man Card! 🙂
You can check out more samples (Girly Ones) using the All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack here, here and here!
Sympathy cards aren’t always fun to create but it is good to have them on hand for when you need them. This simple, yet fabulous card is perfect for a Sympathy card. I started with a Pistachio Pudding card base measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″. Using the All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack, I cut one of the pieces of paper for both of the pieces used in this card. I love being able to use the front and back of the Designer Series Paper because then you aren’t missing out!!! The longer polka dot piece measures 2″ x 4-1/2″ layered on Island Indigo measuring 2-1/4″ x 4-3/4″. The flower piece measures 3″ x 3-1/2″ layered on Island Indigo measuring 3-1/4″ x 3-3/4″. The polka dot piece is flat on the card but the flower pieces was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals after adding the Lost Lagoon Satin Stitched Ribbon! I stamped the greeting from the Bloom with Hope Hostess Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow! Simple and elegant for lots of different occasions!!!
You can check out more samples using the All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack here and here! Also, the ribbon, Designer Series Paper and Stamp Set are all retiring in June so get them before they are gone (and some at a discount)!!! 🙂
Happy Tuesday!!! That means I have a fabulous technique to share with you! This technique is beautiful and uses up your scraps! Woot Woot!!! Also, don’t forget that Mother’s Day is only 2 weeks away!
I am loving this card even though I am usually a silver girl but gold and pink are amazing together!!! Mother’s Day is right around the corner and this card is perfect because you can make a Happy Birthday Card and then use the negative of the Happy for your Mother’s Day Card! So let’s get started!!!
You will start off with a card base of Blushing Bride measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″! Then taking a piece of Gold Glimmer Paper measuring 4-1/2″ x 2″, run that through the Big Shot with the Happy Thinlit from the Hello You Thinlits. NOTE: You can bundle and save 15% when you purchase the Hello You Thinlits and Crazy About You Stamp Set! Woot Woot. I have found that the best way to have these Thinlits pop out of the die super easy is to place an un-used dryer sheet onto your Standard Cutting Pad (clear pads), then place the Glimmer Paper, then the Thinlit, and then the top Standard Cutting Pad. By doing this, the dryer sheet pulls that Happy right out of there super easy! Thank you one of my stampers for that trick. I was always doing it with a used dryer sheet in between the Thinlit and Gold Glimmer Paper. That works too but it is so much better underneath! For this card, you will be using the negative of the Happy but be sure to save the Happy for another project. You can save all of those little centers of the letter to adhere in or you can toss them OR you can use some of them as candle flames!!!! See there is a way to use all of your scraps. You will layer the Gold Glimmer Paper onto a piece of Whisper White measuring 3-1/2″ x 5″. You can either do it straight or you can tilt it to one side. Below the Happy, I stamped Mother’s Day from the Crazy About You Stamp Set in Blushing Bride. Now you can adhere this to your card front. I tilted mine for a different look! I really like it!!!
To finish it off, I punched a few flowers in Blushing Bride and Pink Pirouette with the Petite Petals Punch and the flower from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. I brushed the edges with my Sponge Daubers. LOVE THEM! I added those to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and put a Pearl in the center!
Here is a sneak peak at the coordinating card which uses the Happy wording….check back next week for that tutorial!

I don’t know how often you send a card to a friend or family member just because but I try to do it randomly. I believe there is a lot of power and love in a hand-stamped or even hand-written card. The card might show up on a day you are thinking nothing is going right, a day that is gloomy and rainy, or just a day that you need to know someone is thinking of you and cares! This card is perfect for such an occasion. It is simple and yet fabulous! I started with a Blushing Bride card base and rounded all of the corners with the Corner Punch! Also, I rounded the corners of the Pistachio Pudding cardstock which measures 4″ x 5-1/4″. Then with a piece of the All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack measuring 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ (rounded as well) and placed on top of the Pistachio Pudding, I wrapped some Blushing Bride Baker’s Twine around it twice and tied a bow. I stamped the greeting in Mossy Meadow from the A Dozen Thoughts Stamp Set and added it to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals! That is it! You can see another sample using the All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stackhere!
Now I challenge you to create a Just Because card and send it to a friend or family member!!! 🙂
Happy Friday all!!!! While I am excited about it being the weekend, I’m still sad about some of the items on the Retired List. When it comes to the Stamps, I’m usually okay because if it is my favorite I probably have over used it and it’s time for something new. This is especially true with greetings. My Favorites that are retiring are:
LABEL LOVE……I had a hard time with this one but I need something new and fresh! It is on sale so get it before it is gone and then check out these samples on how to use it!!! NOTE: The Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper will no longer be available on June 2nd as well!
Daydream Medallions……..I had lots of fun with this stamp set when I created the One Sheet Wonder cards which were just stunning! You can check those out here and other ways to use it here!!
Embellished Events…….This was my go-to beginner stamp set. It had the perfect greetings and images all in one stamp set. You could get this set, some markers, and Note Card and Envelopes and start making cards!!!
Million & One……I need a new stamp that says Fabulous! I love that word! Check out these samples using this set. If you want it in Wood, it is 20% off!
Now for the hard part…..I was the most sad about the Accessories that are retiring!
LABELS COLLECTION FRAMELITS…….I feel like I just professed my love for these on here and now they are going??? This can’t be true! These are my favorite image and I use this set all of the time! 🙁 You can even get them on sale at 50% off! WOOT WOOT! Then check out these posts for different wants to use them!
Artisan Label Punch (50% off) and Modern Label Punch……..Of course since the Label Love is retiring the coordinating punch is going as well. As for the Modern Label Punch, I am super sad because I always layer it with the Word Window Punch like this.
There are lots of Embossing Folders that I’m sad to see go but excited about the new ones that are going to come out! Stampin’ Up always impresses me with new designs!!!!
COME ON JUNE 2nd!!!! 🙂

You all know how I love flowers so why I didn’t purchase the All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack much sooner, I don’t know! A few weeks ago this fabulous paper stack was on the Weekly Deals and I was tempted even though I have tons of Designer Series Paper. It is so true though….you can never have enough! I’m super excited about this paper and fell in love right away! Over the next week or so you will see lots of samples that I have created with this amazing paper!!!! The best part is you can create 4 or more of these cards with just one package of this paper! The stack includes 4 each of 12 designs and each card I created using only one piece! So let’s get started….
For the cards above, I started with a Whisper White card base measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″. The All Abloom Paper piece measures 4″ x 5-1/4″ and I used the 2″ Circle punch to cut out the circle. My original was with the circle on the side but one of my class attendees wanted her circle in the middle so I tried that out too! I’m not sure which one I love more!!! Before adhering the Designer Series Paper, place it on the card front and stamp your greeting. This was help with the placement of the image but not bump into the stamp as it might once adhered since I used Stampin’ Dimensionals! I used the greeting from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set. I love the coordinating greetings. You can use both of them or just one of them or stamp the second one on the inside! Once the greeting is stamped, you can attached the Designer Series Paper with dimensionals. I put one on each corner and then a few around the circle to keep that area popped up as well! Then I finished it off with a few butterflies die cut and embossing using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die and the Big Shot! Also, I added a little bow using the Blushing Bride Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot! Simple, fabulous, and this card could be used for lots of different occasions!
Be sure to check back for more samples using the All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack or you can subscribe in the upper right corner of the page and you won’t miss any posts!!!
Punch art is so much fun and when you can create something so adorable like this little cozy coupe it is even more fun!!!! I made this card for a good friend of mine and it is so fitting!!!!
I used a Note Card & Envelope for this card and stamped the greeting from the Simply Wonderful Stamp Set which was a Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set! For the tires, I used the Owl Builder Punch for the white circle and punched a hole in the middle with the 1/8″ Hand-Held Punch. Then I layered a Real Red Circle behind the Whisper White. I did this to allow the red to peak through that little 1/8″ circle hole. You could always add a dot with your Real Red Marker as well. I layered that piece onto a 3/4″ Circle Punch in Basic Black!
I wish I had better directions for the top of the cozy coupe but it was done with a Circle Punch base and lots of luck! I honestly don’t know if I could do this card again and have it look identical! 🙂 Hand-made after all! I punched the circle and then punched with the circle punch again farther in to take off most of it and create the inside. Then I did some trimming with my scissors on the top and bottom of this banana looking piece. I popped all of the top on with Stampin’ Dimensionals….in fact the red base is popped up with 2 dimensionals layered on top of each other. I really wanted it to stand up so my steering wheel would look more 3D. I’m sure in the mail is was squished flat but either way! 🙂 For the little label I started with a piece of Real Red punched with the Petite Curly Label Punch and then trimmed it up! I wrote Lil’ Tikes on it.
I thought it came out cute and looked pretty much like a Cozy Coupe! What do you think? What have you made with Punch Art? Here, here and here are a couple other items I have created!!!
Happy Tuesday!!! I have a fabulous technique to share with you today! This is one that I have shared before but it is always fun to take an old technique and do it all over again!! You can check out the other sample here!
This is the fun Flip Flap Fold (at least that is what I like to call it)! 🙂 I love the fun fold and look to this card and it is so fun to open a card a little differently! The other bonus is that it still fits in a regular Medium Envelope!
You can see the directions for this card here so I will get down to the details of this card! I started with a base of Bermuda Bay and layered with Tangelo Twist! The balloons and confetti are from the Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I love those gold foil balloons in the paper! It adds such a flare!
For your decoration part, I used the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch to punch out the Whisper White scrap that I stamped the candles from the Balloon Bash Stamp Set! I used my markers to get the different colors! I layered that onto a piece of 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle in Tangelo Twist.. Be sure to only put adhesive on the bottom half of your layered decoration so you don’t have any sticky showing. I added some Whisper White Cotton Ribbon to the edge! Love it!!!
There is still plenty of room on the inside for you to write on! I always think this style of card is fun for kids but I know I would enjoy this card as well! Although I think I’ll always be a kid at heart! 🙂
Let me know if you try out this card and how you decide to decorate it! Leave me a comment down below!
