The New Catalog is Here, www.LaurasStampPad.com

The New In-Colors are Terracotta Tile which is a coral/orange color; almost like a burnt orange. Then there is Purple Posy which is my favorite because it is the perfect light purple to go with Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape which I’m loving now. Seaside Spray is a very light blue and Pretty Peacock is a deeper blue green. These 2 go together very well and have that perfect water/nautical look! They are excellent for masculine cards! The last color is Rococo Rose and I just love saying that out loud. Go ahead and say it! This color is like a pinky/mauve color. Which is your favorite??

There are also tons of pretty designer papers! I have been doing the full sheet reveals on my YouTube Channel for a few weeks now. This gives you a better look at the paper because seeing the full sheet is totally different than just a little swatch. You can check out all of those here! Stay tuned as I have more coming soon now that I can order all of them. Only a select few were available for the demonstrator pre-order!

Are you singing the song?? Come Sail Away, Come Sail Away, Come Sail Away with me!!! No? Just me? Let me know in the comments if you were singing along with me! Today, I’m sharing the Come Sail Away Designer Paper!!!

Come Sail Away Designer Paper, www.LaurasStampPad.com

This paper scream masculine to me! I struggle with man cards too so I am hoping this inspires me. I’m always looking for great ideas to create some fabulous man cards! It is super nautical themed and I will admit that’s not really my thing. Living here in Illinois, I just don’t feel like it fits since we are miles from the beach and sail boats. BUT there are lots of great patterns that aren’t so nautical in this set too so I still love this paper pack! There is a whole suite of products to coordinate with this as well!!!

Did you see the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper that was posted on Tuesday??? Click here to check that out! You can also check out others I posted last week here and here!

Rococo Rose is just fun to say!!! This is a pale pink/purple which is great for floral looks and a feminine style card! I think it will coordinate really well with many other colors too!

Terracotta Tile is a coral/burnt orange color. This color again will be great for flowers. Maybe I just think any color is great for flowers!?!?! This will also make a great neutral background color.

Pretty Peacock is a beautiful deep blue/green. Sometimes I think it looks like a forest green and other times I see more blue.

Seaside Spray is this fabulous light blue color with a hint of gray. This will be a fabulous background blue, masculine card blue, and work for florals too! 🙂

Purple Posy is the perfect light purple to coordinate with Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. I can’t wait to use these colors together!

Storage By Stampin’ Up!

Posted on

Hello Stampers! If you have followed me for even a week, you know I love storage, organization, and I’m a bit of an OCD freak when it comes to placement of stuff. So of course I was super excited about the Storage By Stampin’ Up! Hello, it’s perfect. But I got it and now here is my honest review!!!

Storage By Stampin' Up, www.LaurasStampPad.com

First thing I love about these things are that they can be stacked in any increments. This means that it fits anywhere. I hate when I find a cool storage piece but it is just a hair too big for my shelf or it fits the shelf but there is 3 inches of wasted space at the top. My craft room is “full” so I don’t want to waste space anywhere. I’m sure some of you can relate. I am able to have 11 trays for the Stampin’ Blends Markers on my shelf and it fits perfectly and all of my markers fit. It’s perfect and I love that.

The plastic is much thicker and sturdier than I anticipated. I was afraid they would be a little flimsy or easily crack/break. That doesn’t seem to be the case as they are thick and seem really strong.

One fear that I would have is that if it were to fall off my table or something, I’m betting the trays would pop apart and you would like trays and markers all over. This isn’t a deal breaker because lets be honest, I hope they never fall and of course if they did it would be a mess. Since the trays just lock/sit in place, they could pop a part if they fell over. Again, not a deal breaker but it is something that crossed my mind.

Over all I love the ease of putting them together. I love the organization and ability to customize your space to fit anywhere. I also love the options for the toppers. The solid topper is on my blends since it fits perfectly on my shelf but the little trays are perfect for ink refills on the ink pad trays or just on your desk. It’s just awesome to be able to purchase something with options to fit your space and style and not be stuck with 1 thing! Click the links below to get your Storage By Stampin’ Up!

What Are Cling Stamps???

Posted on

Okay so I’m super behind on posting this because Cling Stamps came out in January. I didn’t want to leave you all hanging and you might still be wondering. What Are Cling Stamps??? Today I’m going to tell you!

What are cling stamps, www.LaurasStampPad.com

Cling Stamps came out in the Occasions Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Brochure! You may have not even noticed because they look very similar to the Clear Mount Stamps. They have the red rubber and the sticker on the back. The big difference is that sticker. It is SUPER sticky and it won’t fall off your clear block anymore. Many stampers had issues where the Clear Mount Stamps would fall off the block and it was frustrating. Stampin’ Up heard us and fixed it!

Assembling the Cling Stamps is the same as it was with the Clear Mount Stamps. Simply peel off the back of the foam stamp. Then peel off the back of the sticker and place it down. Since it is SUPER sticky, be sure that once you stick it down, just go for it. There is no picking it back off. If the sticker is a bit off just trim it. It’s okay!

Another big tip is to be careful when pulling the stamp off of the block. Since it is stuck on there really well, you will want to ease it off or use your Take You Pick Tool. This tool makes breaking that suction deal and taking it off super easy! If you just pull, it could tear at the foam.

All Kinds of Butterflies!!!

Posted on

Do you love butterflies??? I find them to be so beautiful, fun to watch, a sign of hope, and Spring!!! Today, I’m going to show you all kinds of butterflies that you can create with the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch!

All Kinds of Butterflies, www.LaurasStampPad.com

The Butterfly Gala Stamp Set has 4 styles of butterflies that are each intricate and stunning. They look amazing stamped in 1 color on white or colored cardstock. You can also color them in with Watercolor Pencils, Blends, or other watercolor tools. Another option is to stamp the solid butterfly stamp to fill in the butterfly with color. This can be done in the same color but stamped off once for a lighter shade or it can be in a different color. I love how the butterfly images are a big one and little one combined. This way they go into the punch perfectly and you can make multiples really fast! I love it!!!
