Fancy Frost!!!

What do you think about a Christmas Card with Sweet Sugarplum??? I kind of like it! It is different but it still is super elegant and fun! It is also super easy with the Fancy Frost Designer Series Paper because I didn’t have to run this through the Big Shot, I just cut it and adhered it on!!! Love it!!!

I started with a Sweet Sugarplum card base. Then I took a piece of Fancy Frost Designer Series Paper (4″ x 5-1/4″) and adhered a piece of the Sweet Sugarplum Glitter Ribbon down the center. Just wrap the ends to the back side and attach it to the card front! I love this ribbon because it is so glitzy and shiny but it is really easy to use and tie into bows. For the greeting, I stamped it from the Star of Light Stamp Set in Sweet Sugarplum Ink onto Whisper White. Then I die cut out the greeting with the Layering Ovals Framelits. I picked out the scallop oval that was just a smidge larger and die cut that out in Sweet Sugarplum so I could layer. I am telling you…..why did I wait so long to get these circles and ovals??? These are amazing! I just think it looks so fabulous to have these perfectly layering greetings with that little scallop. It’s just so eye-catching and fabulous!!! After layering the greetings, I adhered them to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals! I like to use those when layering over ribbon so that it looks smooth and flat rather than lumpy over the ribbon. Plus I just LOVE Stampin’ Dimensionals! To finish it off, I tied a little bow with some more of the Sweet Sugarplum Glitter Ribbon and attached it to the card with Mini Glue Dots! All done and looking fabulous!!!
