Happy Monday!!! Starting off the week simple with the August 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Blissful Blooms. I can honestly say I finished this kit in 30 minutes. It was super simple and I LOVE IT! It’s got flowers on it after all! Click here to get signed up for September!
This is just half of the kit. There are a total of 10 cards. Five of them have a large floral piece with a smaller greeting and the other five have a floral with an open center for a bigger greeting. Also, check out those gorgeous silver trim envelopes with the speckled inside. LOVE IT!!!
Here is the other set of five cards and these envelopes have pink speckles. The greetings in the stamp set are just amazing too! Check out the greeting I put on the inside in the photo below!
The kit was made for me with this greeting. I just feel like it says so much when you don’t know what else to say. I love it!
So for this card, I added adhesive to the back of the greeting, placed the vellum pieces down and then added the twine. I secured the twine with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the top. The twine starts on one end and goes to the other end in a loop, back to the other side to loop and then the end on the other side. I hope that makes sense. There is a loop and an end on each side. I will say that you need to be careful how far out your vellum and ribbon goes so it doesn’t hang off the card.
For this card, I created loops in the twine and secured it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Simple and fabulous to create 10 cards so quickly! I love it!
Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!!! We enjoyed family time, my high school reunion, and relaxing. That’s the perfect weekend for sure!!! Today, I’m sharing with you the July 2018 Paper Pumpkin – Picnic Paradise!!! This one is supper summer-y and adorable!!!
Look at all of that goodie. I am still blown away with how much product/projects come in the Paper Pumpkin Box each month. All of this with leftover supplies, stamps, and ink for just $19.95 plus tax, free shipping. That is a steal!!! I can’t figure out whether I want to put the cards in the baskets and give them as a gift or use the cards and add some food treats to the baskets as a gift. What would you rather get…food or cards? Let me know in the comments below!
The strawberries are my favorite I think. First thing, was to stamp the stitched border on all of the card bases. The stamp doesn’t actually go all the way across but don’t panic. Lining the stamped image up isn’t that hard since it is photopolymer and if it’s not straight, you can’t tell. I messed up a few or felt it looked super crooked and once the cards were complete, I can’t find the messed up ones. Next, add the vellum which I only put adhesive in the center so it didn’t show through on the edges.
For the fruit, I put it down first and then tied the twine around. I didn’t want the Baker’s Twine to be lumpy under my fruit. The greetings I popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals so I didn’t have to worry about those being lumpy over the twine. I did adhere the striped label to the greeting first.
Do these not scream teacher and back to school??? Claire isn’t going to school this August (lol) but I do think they would make great back to school notes/gifts for a teacher!
Here I wanted to show that I stamped the stripes all the way across the paper and then popped out the labels. That was much easier than popping them out and trying to hit that small individual label with the inked up image. Then for the basket assembly. These were super simple since the basket pieces were labeled. The instructions mentioned cutting off a little piece if you would like and I wasn’t sure what they were talking about. After making one, I realized it was the handle. That little piece of the handle that goes lower than the basket trim can be cut off flush with the trim if you would like. I cut all of mine. Also, I didn’t think I would use the short basket trim pieces but then I put one on and loved it. So I ended up using the short pieces for that nice clean trim look around the basket. I only stuffed 2 pieces of the check paper into the baskets and there is tons leftover. I love it!!!

The June 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit was super fun and easy even though it took me like 3 days to put it together between baby snuggles, feedings, and napping! 🙂 It seems everything takes longer to do now that Baby Claire is here! It was still great to enjoy some crafting time where I didn’t have to think of the idea or haul out a mess of products.
I always need Birthday Cards and I love these colors together as well! The cake with the strawberries on it is super cute!!!
The first set of 4 cards have these fun greetings with cakes as the decoration. The one thing that I found odd was that the black and white layer that the greeting is on is popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then the Hooray sticker goes on top and it hangs off. This is kind of odd because then the sticky is floating out there or dropping down and sticking. I think I would have put it all flat and just popped up the cake if I hadn’t put the dimensionals on first. Also, this photo doesn’t show it but each of the dots around the greeting gets a pearl on it and wowza does that make it POP! I love it!!! There were extra cakes and candles so I added those to the envelopes and insides of the cards!
For this one, the banner with the stars was stamped. I tried to do this is a nice pattern but that was hard. For the most part I stamped down the banner and then did the next row. This was a bit all over but after assembling the cards, you can’t really see the pattern or any mistakes so it’s all good. I had leftover balloons so I added them to the envelopes! The little gold sequins all around make for a fun pop of bling that I like!
Which one is your favorite?? Let me know in the comments below!

Happy Monday!!! Today, I thought I would share the amazing May 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Manly Moments! This kit has me covered for Father’s Day! Thank you, Paper Pumpkin!!!! I was wondering what I could whip up quickly before Ziggy arrived and this came in the mail in May at the perfect time!
These cards are very basic and were easy to assemble. I love the fun fold with it. They aren’t just a regular card but instead the plaid part folds down and then top part folds up. That’s super fun and makes them different. I found that I really liked the starburst image below the greeting. It really makes it stand out and look cool. Do you prefer that or putting “To You” or another greeting like Dad, Son, Brother?? Let me know in the comments below!
Here is an up closer photo of this style. I placed the banner across the badge for stamping placement. I felt this was better than winging it and hoping I got it in the right spot. Some of the bursts are up higher than others but that’s okay! 🙂 Also, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the entire back of the badge and added the banner to the badge with just Snail Adhesive in the middle. The instructions said to put the banner on with dimensionals as well. I thought that might be too high and this way the swag of the banner falls on either side with that dimensional holding it up.
These are my absolute favorite. I love that mountain scene and those trees. I will say the bottom of the card is rather thick with all of the layers but it’s amazing! Super easy to assemble since those pieces were all stickers. I did the greetings the same as the cards above!
Isn’t that texture and dimension of the card just amazing? I love it!!!! Now I am all set for Father’s Day and don’t have to scramble! I love Paper Pumpkin for that. It always sets you up for future holidays/events!
If you would like to try out Paper Pumpkin, click here to sign up for the June Kit before the 10th! You can try it for a month and cancel or enjoy it for many months. It’s all up to you. Either way, I think $20 for stamps, ink, supplies, and a clear block is TOTALLY worth a try! Also, the June Kit will coordinate with the Broadway Bound Suite in the New Catalog so that’s even more fun!!! Who doesn’t love black and white with a pop of color?!?!?!
The April 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit – You Are My Anchor is so amazing! To be honest, I first opened it and thought…..ehh small gift cards…..ehhhh beach theme and I live in Illinois. Then I started creating it and my mind went crazy!!! I thought about the greetings (you are my anchor, you are my lifesaver, etc) and how amazing and powerful they are! These cards are perfect for me to use on the treats for the Doctors and Nurses during my weekly baby appointments and to take to delivery. They would be great to take to the local Fire Department or Police. Teacher Appreciation Week is at the beginning of May and these would be perfect. If you gave your teacher a beach towel and sunscreen on the last day of school, this tag would fit perfectly! So many amazing ideas!
Look at all of this!!! There are a total of 20 cards and 4 gift boxes. It is just so much goodie and I had a TON leftover as well! This is just another reason I love Paper Pumpkin because you get SO MUCH! You can even try out Paper Pumpkin for half price for 2 months with the Promo Code: SAVEFIFTY0418 if you sign up before May 10th! Click here to sign up now!
These little cards were super simple to stamp and assemble. I have always found that stamping with all of the pieces still in the sheet is easier than popping them out first. Also, I used lots of twine to tie those anchors in the lower left corner and I still had tons leftover. I added a lot more gold hearts to the cards and even to the boxes because there were plenty. Be careful when stamping the birds (upper right) next to the lighthouse. The birds needs to be stamped on the white card part because it will smear off on the gold foil. For the two lighthouse cards, I added the greeting with a Stampin’ Dimensional on either end (far end) and not in the middle. This is so that it is smooth over the popped up lighthouse.
Here are all of the leftovers after I finished the kit. There are 2 full sheets of the labels and hearts and a few extras. I had a ton of the twine left and a few die cuts. There is just so much goodie! You can see all of the supplies when I unboxed the kit here!
Don’t forget that you can try out Paper Pumpkin for 2 months at half price (normally $19.95). Try it out and see if you like it. If anything you will get a clear block, 2 ink spots, and 2 sets of stamps! That’s a lot plus you get all of the supplies for the projects! Amazing!!! Click here to try it out!!!
Happy Monday!!! Today, I’m sharing all the details on the March 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit – May Good Things Grow!!! Don’t forget that if you want to try out Paper Pumpkin, you can for half price for TWO MONTHS!!!! Click here to try it out and use the Promo Code: SAVEFIFTY0418
This set of cards is my favorite by far! I love the color combination and that detailed corner stamp and flowers!!! I will be using that detailed corner stamp on future projects for sure! 🙂 If you notice the two cards on the right I stamped on the vanilla side for the greeting and the left on the white side. I honestly don’t know which side was supposed to be used but I did notice the stamped image came out more bold on the white.
Here are the envelopes for the amazing cards or you could add a little note card to these stunning envelopes and use Whisper White envelopes for the stunning cards! These envelopes were already printed and stunning so just adding the little accents make it perfect!
The second set of cards have lots of layers and details. A few tips on this one is to go through the greeting with about 6-8 inches of Baker’s Twine on one end. Then wrap the twine around twice, going back through the greeting each time around and then tying the knot on the right side. Also, I added the greenery flat and using dimensionals on the just the greeting!
Here are the stunning envelopes for the second set of cards. I honestly feel like these envelopes are so fabulous, I’ll stamp a little on some Whisper White piece of cardstock. I’ll use those for these envelopes rather that to use on these detailed cards! This way I’m getting 16 fabulous projects rather than just 8! Woot Woot!
I really loved this kit and it came with wooden elements as a FREE gift for Paper Pumpkin’s 5th Birthday! I will be using those for another project. If you want to see those and all the pieces, check out my unboxing and reveal video here!

Happy Monday!!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today, I’m sharing the fabulous February 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Wildflower Wishes! This kit was super fun because I love flowers so much and there was SO MUCH GOODIE in the kit!!! Check out all the cards below!
There were 3 “Celebrate” cards and I loved how the stamps included “your awesomeness” because I don’t really send out a ton of celebrate cards but these are cool! Super fun!!! These greetings were super long so I many of them I put at an angle so the bow and flowers peaked out nicely!
Thank you notes are always my favorite to create from these kits because I always need them! The little greeting “big time” is super cute too!!!
These are cards are super cute and will be perfect for my #40DayChallenge cards to random friends and family just because! I love it!!!
Here are a few tips I wanted to share while making these cards. I placed all 3 flower stamps on the clear block and stamped them all at the same time. This helped with few times back and forth! Also, I found that adding the centers of the greetings…..like the center of the “A” and “B”. You can see how they both look in the center photo! Then for the adhering of the vellum flowers, I just placed a Glue Dot on top of the stem and left it just like that. I didn’t even peel the paper off the top since the greeting over the top was popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals so it didn’t matter anyway!
So because you peel off the outline image of the greeting for the 9 main card, all of the greeting letters are left over. I was able to create another 9 cards with the leftover flower stickers and greetings. There was plenty of Linen Thread left over as well! So I got a total of 18 cards from this kit!!! That’s amazing!!!
Here are my decorated envelopes and leftover pieces after all of these cards. There is just so much goodie in this kit. If you want to see all of the content and reveal of this kit, check out this video!
Paper Pumpkin is celebrating their 5th birthday in March!!!! The March Kit comes with a free gift and in a fun box! I can’t wait to see what it is!!! If you would like to get this kit, be sure to subscribe before March 10th! Click here to get the kit!
Happy Monday!!! Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I love how Paper Pumpkin always has me covered each year! Check out last year’s here! Here is the January 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit which is called Heartfelt Love Notes!!!! Check out the unboxing video here!
I love the little foil hearts and black and white with a pop of pink and purple! The foil is almost a rose gold color and it’s just stunning!!! I stamped all of the greeting labels with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Spot that came in the kit! Then I layered the banner, vellum and labels onto the front of each pocket card base!
Next, I stamped all of the envelopes with the little heart that says, “To” and I stamped all the card inserts with the envelope and greeting. Woot Woot for not having to write out Valentine’s a million times! 🙂
I made treats for all of my nieces and nephews so I didn’t tie bows on the card with the ribbon. This allowed me to use the ribbon to tie the candy bags as well!
Here are all my treats and Valentine’s! I tired out these new kisses which are Cupcake flavored and Caramel filled! Both are amazing and I highly recommend them! Yum!

I am super in love with the December 2017 Paper Pumpkin – Floral & Flutter because the colors are amazing. It also makes me think of Spring with the butterflies and that makes me very happy!!!
Look at this color combination!!! I am loving the Calypso Coral, Berry Burst, and Peek-A-Boo Peach! Add in the bling and wowza it’s amazing!!! I stamped all my greetings and butterflies first! Then I started an assembly line!
I actually had to read the instructions for this part. First, lay down a strip of the adhesive on the top and bottom of the cut out on the inside of the card. Next, add the peach lines piece with the peach facing down so it shows through to the front. Then place the glimmer paper face down on top and add a strip of adhesive diagonally on the back. Finally, add adhesive strips to all four sides of the solid white square. Peel off the backing of those four as well as the diagonal one and stick the square on top of the glimmer paper. This seals it all in and looks nice and clean when you open the card!
Now it’s time to decorate the front of the card! I cut the seam binding to the length of the greeting. I used the adhesive strips to adhere both the ribbon and the greeting! The kit comes with glue dots as well which I used for the butterflies and the little Baker’s Twine bow!
The second set of cards are regular size cards that can go in the mail!!! The pop of Lemon Lime Twist makes me happy too! I swear I could have picked these colors as they are my favorites!!!
This card is done the same way as the square cards! Add adhesive to the inside of the card (top and bottom) and place the green leaves face down. I had to double check how the greenery went down for each one to make sure it was placed correctly. Sorry no trick for you there! 🙂 Then place the glimmer piece down with a diagonal strip on the back. Add the solid white over the top!
I added the greeting, butterfly, and bow to the front to finish it off! The bow is in different spots just to mix it up!
I stamped the envelopes to coordinate. I used my own Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad for the leaf and then stamped the butterfly in the provided Berry Burst Ink!
